Chapter 28: Chapter 28

My important day begins today, yet I'm feeling a tad down due to a short message that got me thinking the entire evening.

I was unable to try and have a legitimate rest in view of that crappy explanation, and presently I'm right here, in my vehicle, doing a fast cosmetics routine since I got up an hour late and have less chance to get ready.

I wore a plain white off-shoulder shirt wrapped up dark wide-leg slacks coordinated with dark tie heels and my white Gucci sack. I just let my hair down to show my normal twists and put on a light cosmetics that I'm doing at present.

Reagan looked at me through the mirror occasionally to check assuming that I was finished putting on my cosmetics. I saw him, so I advised him to drive openly since I can oversee doing my cosmetics regardless of whether I'm in a moving vehicle.

My dissatisfaction from his message is as yet waiting in my psyche, so I can't resist the urge to feign exacerbation at whatever point his message out of nowhere streaks through my viewpoints. Dislike I'm so mopey in view of his message, however what irritates me the most is that dislike that by any stretch of the imagination. He's utilized to tell me or update me, however all I got from him was that text? That is crazy.

I know we're not together formally yet he's managing me as of now so he better get his expectations up.

I'm actually irritated, however at that point the vehicle stops before a recognizable structure that I used to visit previously. My dad's cherished domain I'll recover, whatever matters.

"Best of luck on your most memorable day, miss," Reagan welcomed me.

I recently grinned and got my stuff before I headed inside the structure. In the hall, I saw Tyler, who was clearly sitting tight for me while he was walking forward and backward.

"You looked anxious." My methodology got him surprised, so I chuckled at it.

"You're thirty minutes late, in case it isn't already obvious," he said while pointing at his watch.

"Then set out to accuse the traffic," I said, sounding so confused.

"Disregard it; we should get you on your floor," he said as he got my stuff from me.

He conveyed it easily while he squeezed the lift button as well. All of a sudden, his mom appeared unexpectedly and moved toward us wearing her undeniable phony grin.

"I can see that all that's working out positively among you," she said as she perceived how close I am with his child. We are standing one next to the other since I don't know anybody around however Tyler.

"Mother, stop it," Tyler cautioned his mother.

I recently grinned and turned away in a split second. I was unable to figure out how to be in that sort of abnormal position, so the second that the lift opened, I promptly pushed Tyler inside to escape what is happening.

"Your mother really loves this sad move," I gruffly expressed when the lift shut.

Tyler looked at me and giggled.

"She genuinely doesn't have a clue about the idea of genuine love," I added.

"All things considered, he wedded my dad due to his cash," Tyler made sense of.

I stopped briefly when I heard what he said. He laughed when he saw my response. Despite the fact that he didn't get irritated by my little joke, what he just told was totally a transgression for me.

Truly? Wedding an individual only for carrying on with a rich life? Dislike everybody doesn't merit that, yet how much silliness you have in your body to take that sort of arrangement that you will have until the end of your life was a totally terrible thing to do.

"Yet again you can definitely relax, she told me once that you can figure out how to adore the individual en route," Tyler made sense of, perhaps in light of the fact that he saw my abrupt quiet.

Perhaps that is what her mom arranged from the beginning when they concocted this marriage plan.

I just grinned at him and let it go when I heard the lift. As it opened, a peaceful room loaded up with work spaces invited me. I quickly followed Tyler when he escaped the room since he let me know that he'd direct me until the end of my most memorable day in this office. I glanced around to check the essences of my future collaborators, and all I could see was them, who were fundamentally murmuring while at the same time checking me out. A few representatives perceive my face, while others are very fascinated, perhaps due to my outfit that shouts like a lady who's going to supplant their supervisor in this division. It's excessively, I presume.

As we arrived at the work space doled out to me, I got bewildered when I saw a natural pink work area. I quickly contacted the table to feel its outer layer, however all of a sudden, Tyler talked.

"Your man advised me to acquire this thing up here your area."

I jeered as I heard that.

Truly, my man? Where could he then, at that point, be?

I folded my arms and plunked down on the turn seat next to the table.

"I ought to be dealt with like an ordinary representative, not with this pink stuff," I grumbled as I slid the seat away from the table.

Tyler looked confused from the start, however he sorted it out.

"Are you still frantic at Kendric?" The manner in which he asked me was like he was prodding me for reasons unknown.

"How could you know his name?" I asked off-subject.

He took a gander at me and grinned.

"He's very renowned as of late in the corporate world."

His words grabbed my eye, so I advised him to go on.

"He's sort of a bustling man in the first part of the day up until night and he's in a real sense the meaning of a dedicated man like your dad however he has a few associations currently yet he's known for managing his clients with only one gathering constantly."

I know it all as of now.

At the point when I returned to the city, I searched for articles about Kendric, and he's very rich even without his family's abundance. Everything Deniece said to me was all obvious; he's incredibly wealthy.

However, I'm actually irritated at him, and that changes nothing, not even his work with this table that I'm gazing at.

I'm actually insane about when Tyler accumulated everybody's consideration around the workplace. I got apprehensive briefly.

"Everybody, this is the most up to date colleague, I bet some of you know her as of now," Tyler said boisterously enough, and I heard them applauding as they invited me.

I stood up and grinned. Everybody appears to be great, however at that point when Tyler passed on me in this office to organize a few papers for his dad's organization, everyone got quiet and stay out of other people's affairs once more.

As I sat again in my seat, I organized my stuff to put it on my table. I can likewise feel my telephone vibrating a ton of times now, however I disregard it just to look proficient for certain individuals who are watching me like birds of prey. I can feel their gazes from a far distance; some seem as though they need to converse with me yet don't dare to do as such. I'll simply welcome them later.

Following quite a while of orchestrating my stuff, I felt moronic and just took a gander at individuals around who were occupied with following through with something. They have heaps of work to do, huh? I ought to have one for now.

At the point when a woman in her mid-30s strolled past my work space, I promptly moved toward her.

"Excuse me, I simply need to inquire as to whether there's anything I can do? It's my most memorable day here," I expressed pleasantly while grinning from one ear to another.

She took a gander at me from head to toe before she kept strolling like I hadn't gotten some information about something. What in blazes?

Yet again I was left puzzled as she disappeared and sat on her seat. I shut my eyes to hold myself back from getting irritated by that motion. All of a sudden, I saw a man strolling around the other path of work spaces, so I strolled towards him.

"Excuse me." I tapped his shoulder once, and he saw me immediately happily. He appears to be great.

"Indeed, miss?" He asked graciously.

"I'm lost and new here, so could I at any point inquire as to whether there's any undertaking that I can do today?" I asked back.

"You can get ready and serve a few beverages before the gathering later, after lunch, and see what we will examine," he expressed pleasantly with his delicate voice. He's sort of ladylike, and I like his energy.

"I'm Angela," I presented myself as I broadened my hand for a handshake.

"I'm José, however you can simply call me baba," he expressed, and on second thought of a handshake, he kissed both of my cheeks as his hello.

He advised me to follow him into the gathering space to set up the space for the normal gathering later, after lunch. I was occupied with putting some water bottles on the table adjacent to each organizer when José talked once more.

"You're the center offspring of Guevarra, right?"

I looked toward him and gestured.

"You're likewise the girl they needed as a seal for an organized marriage?" He asked once more.

I halted what I was doing and checked him out.

"How could you know all of this?" I asked back.

"Everybody in the workplace has been talking since your dad left his seat for that egotistical man and his better half. They are saying that your dad fundamentally passed on us to those mongrels and just carried on with his life serenely on a selective island only for your family," he made sense of while his face looked so stressed.

I bit my lips.

"Is that the reason why some employees are ignoring my presence here?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Maybe but I guess it's not your fault so people shouldn't be shady towards you," he said as he continued doing his task.

I sighed and closed my eyes again.

Our people have already lost their faith in my father, and I got scared because of it. Receiving some kind of discrimination is not new to me, but I don't want to add another thing to the list.

"Hey," José tapped my shoulders. I didn't notice he was already beside me. "Don't mind those people outside, okay? They are just being unreasonable by putting the blame on you too."

When José left me alone in the conference room to finish my task, I couldn't help but sit down as I felt my knees getting so weak from the pressure I just received. I lowered my head and deeply sighed, I also felt my phone still vibrating from time to time ever since I got here.

I know all of the messages came from him but I need to focus on my first day and he has to wait since he let me wait for him last night too.

As people started to come inside the room one by one, I tried to smile and assist them. Some of them recognized me with just one look, so I don't have a hard time dealing with them and having small talks with them. It's almost about to start, but they are still waiting for the last person, who happens to be the investor. I heard from the crowd that he'd be here in ten minutes, so I secretly opened my phone to check all of my messages.

I read from our group messages that Haze's date last night didn't even treat her like a woman and left her this morning. The man was said to be totally rude and snobbish. Wow, that's new, but knowing Haze, she just likes it even better. She always likes the chase anyway. On the other hand, I didn't read any messages from him.

I'm still offended by his d*ck move last night.

But then I immediately hid my phone when I heard the door open. I stood up, and when I looked at the person who just entered the room, I was stunned for a moment.

"Everyone let's welcome Mr. Kendric Voltaire," someone introduced him.

As he entered the room, his eyes were looking for something, and when they met mine, he smiled.

Out of all places, what is he doing here?
