All the shareholders are all sited in the conference room for the emergency meeting, Billy talk to them about the death of his grandfather but some of them start to grumble because they are afraid about what the death of the chairman will cause and they complain about the fall in the stock because the company's stock already fall by 7%, the shareholders thinks that Billy originally call the emergency meeting to talk about the fall in the stock but hearing him talk only about the death of his grandfather, the shareholders could not keep it in and start to say one thing and the other
One of the main shareholders call Fang Wu stand up "as we can all see what his happening in the company recently are really affecting the stock of the company" Fang Wu pause and look at everyone's faces to see their reactions, when he sees that the other shareholders seems to support his view he continues "what are you going to do about this? CEO San" Fang Wu asks Billy and sits down, the shareholders hold Fang Wu in high esteem and because of that his words hold weight among the shareholders
Billy already know that something like that will happen because when his grandfather wants to make him the CEO, the shareholders could not easily agree to it and now that his grandfather has passed away they will want him to prove himself and that might threaten his position, Billy clear his throat and look to the faces of the shareholders "I believe we should all expect something like this since the chairman suddenly passed away” Billy said and glance at everyone of them with a stern face
Even though Billy expect that the shareholders will say things like that but he also expect that they should still acknowledge the death of his grandfather but all they were concerned about is the stock which makes him get angry, then he continue "though the stock has fallen by 7%, it is still okay with the situation of things and after things gets back to normal the stock will go up again, am I wrong?" Billy said nonchalantly as he sits like a tyrant king
The shareholders start to murmur again, after some time, one Yang Chang stand up to talk among the shareholders, he is a little afraid but he still speaks out "what if the stock did not go up again?” Yang Chang said and the other react in support of what he said, Billy looks at every one of them and smirks wickedly, then he face Yang Chang "is that what Mr. Yang Chang and everyone wants?" Billy ask putting the question back to them, if the shareholders did not wants the company’s stock to rise again, the question is unexpected so all the shareholders keep quiet "I believe we should all be preparing for the chairman's funeral" Billy said and smile mockingly because he knows that most the shareholders are not concern about his grandfather's funeral or death they are only concern with their shares and profits
"You don't have to worry about the stocks of the company" Billy said and stand up then walk away from the meeting angrily, the shareholders look at his back in confusion because Billy suddenly stand up and leave the meeting when their questions were not answered; they later start to discuss among themselves “what is he saying?”
“How can we look away with the stock going down?”
“How should we not worry about something like that?”
“He is too arrogant for his age”
“If not that he is the chairman's grandson, why will I be sitting here and hearing him saying nonsense?”
The shareholders continue to discuss within themselves, some of the shareholders did not talk and leave quietly but the rest continue to say bad things about Billy been an arrogant CEO
After Billy get to his office he look really pissed off "how could they not even say any word of condolence for grandfather's death?" he said and smirk angrily "they are all talking about stock" he continue to talk to himself "why are people like that?" Billy said as he look really angry because Billy knows that when his grandfather was still alive, the shareholders always smile and say something good in the presence of his grandfather but now they are all concern only about their money “bad people!” Billy spat irately
Ray then comes into Billy’s office after the shareholders have all left "young master, they all left" Ray tells Billy, Billy sigh and nod his head in understanding "make sure to monitor everyone of them" Billy said to Ray "even the least shareholder, let's see what everyone of them is up to, I know they might want to make some silly moves" Billy adds angrily "yes young master" Ray replies with a serious face because he understands what Billy meant, Ray knows that the shareholders might plan to remove Billy as the CEO now that Billy’s grandfather is no more, Ray turn to leave Billy’s office but as his about to leave Billy said to him again "make sure to release the news for the date of grandfather's funeral" Billy said checking his phone "okay young master" Ray reply and leave
After Ray leaves Billy’s office, Billy's secretary call him "CEO, Miss Xu Shan is here" the secretary said on the telecom, Billy did not expect that Xu Shan will come to the company, yesterday when Xu Shan calls him and suddenly ends the call and did not say anything, Billy thinks that she will not call him again or have anything to do with him because his grandfather that wants them to get engaged already passed away but now she even come to meet him in the office, Billy thinks frustrated "send her in" Billy said to the secretary "okay" the secretary replies
Xu Shan later comes into Billy's office "Tiau San, am sorry about your grandfather’s death" Xu Shan said as soon as she enters Billy’s office and immediately drop the bag she brought on the center table and went to meet Billy where he is sits on the CEO'S chair, Xu Shan touch Billy softly and her eyes look sad, one will think that she really mean what she said "why are you sorry for my grandfather's death?" Billy said because knows that Xu Shan is pretending
Xu Shan look at Billy as he ask that question with the eyes of I care for you "you don't have to talk like that, your grandfather is also like my grandfather, so I care" Xu Shan replies and slowly leaves Billy's hand then went to the center table to bring out what is inside the bag she brought, she brings food for Billy "Tiau San, I know you will be very sad about your grandfather's death and you might have not eating anything so I ask our chef to make this soup for you" she start to open the soup "quickly drink the soup as is still hot" Xu Shan said and stretch the soup container towards Billy with her eyes full of concern, Billy look surprise with Xu Shan's performance "as Xu Shan gone mad?" Billy thinks and smirk in surprise "how dare she bring this rubbish to the office and talk nonsense" Billy thinks again and breath slowly to calm himself down "Xu Shan, what are you up to right now?" Billy asks fiercely and looks at Xu Shan disgustingly
Xu Shan face turn ugly hearing what Billy said "what does it look like am doing?" she let out angrily but then she quickly smile softly to get rid of her anger because she knows that Billy will not have the soup before, she only bring the soup to let Billy know that he cannot escape from her "I only care about you, don't you see it?" Xu Shan suddenly change her tone calmly
Billy look frustrated seeing that Xu Shan still keep pretending "I don't need you to care about me" Billy tells her "Tiau San" Xu Shan call Billy softly and draw closer to her "remember am still your fiancée" Xu Shan said and emphasize on the word fiancée, Billy is really pissed off with Xu Shan’s act , he has not yet gotten over the shareholder’s meeting and this again, Billy look at Xu Shan intently brimming hatred within him "Xu Shan, I and you knows that there is no fiancée anywhere" Billy also emphasize on the word fiancée like Xu Shan did
Xu Shan smile mockingly when she hears what Billy said "Tiau San, if you don't know, let me tell you" Xu Shan look at Billy confidently and continues "you are destiny to be with me forever and nothing will stop it" Xu Shan said loudly as she could not hold her anger in anymore nor continue acting pretentious “you can only be forever stock with me” Xu Shan let out and takes the things she brought then leaves in anger, Billy is shock to see the confident in Xu Shan's eyes and voice and his mouth opens wide "why is she so confident like that?" Billy asks himself after sometimes, he could not believe Xu Shan the crying princess will be that confident to stand up to him, before, whenever Billy scolds Xu Shan, she will get scared but now she looks too confident "what could she be up to?" Billy asks himself worriedly.
