The taxi stop at the front of the hotel and Xiao Xie quickly get down, as she is about to enter into the hotel, she is stop by the security because she is not holding the invitation, when they ask her for the invitation she is surprise “invitation! What do you mean by invitation? I only want to attend a friend's party" Xiao Xie tells the security standing at the entrance "Miss, you need an invitation to get in" the security said to her
Xiao Xie sigh and try Billy's number since she don’t have Xu Shan’s number but it is switched off, since Billy’s phone is with his grandfather, the phone is switched, then Xiao Xie remember that Xu Shan text her the address to the hotel, so she call the number that Xu Shan use to text her, after the second ring, it call gets picked "hello, Xu Shan am at the front of the hotel but the security said I need an invitation to get in" Xiao Xie quickly said
Xu Shan is startled when she sees Xiao Xie’s number calling her, she did not believe Xiao Xie will call her but she pick the call to know if it is truly Xiao Xie calling, hearing what Xiao Xie said, she blink her eyes unbelievably, she did not believe Xiao Xie will actually dare to come for the party after she has heard the news of her engagement with Billy "how come, is it that she did not see the news or that she ignore it?" Xu Shan said confused
"Hello, Xu Shan can you hear me?" Xiao Xie talks again to know if Xu Shan is still on the phone "oh! As she is still waiting anxiously, her eyes suddenly caught the picture of Billy and Xu Shan that is placed at a corner in the entrance of the hotel , Xiao Xie narrow her eyes towards the picture to see if she is actually seeing clearly “is that not Billy and Xu Shan?” Xiao Xie ask herself looking closely at the picture but she did not seems to get why Billy and Xu Shan's picture will be there at the entrance, before she could think clearly the person Xu Shan sent call her "Miss Xiao Xie, please come with me" the person said “oh! Okay” Xiao Xie reply and slowly follow him but she continue to stare at Billy and Xu Shan’s picture she just see
As Xiao Xie’s enters the hotel lounge she start to see other pictures of Billy and Xu Shan together and she become very confuse "what is happening here?” Xiao Xie asks herself still confuse “why is Billy and Xu Shan's picture everywhere?" She thinks, as she is still thinking of what is happening, she sees a poster where it is written “Xu Shan and Tiau San’s engagement” Xiao Xie reads it but she could not seems to get what the written means or maybe her brain could not comprehend it
“Engagement!” Xiao Xie let out puzzled “who is getting engaged?” she ask no one in particular, before she could finish asking the question Xu Shan meets them "we are" Xu Shan answer Xiao Xie’s question and smirk at Xiao Xie mockingly, Xiao Xie stare at Xu Shan with unbelief “you are?” Xiao Xie let out as she continues to stare at the pictures and Xu Shan "what is the meaning of that?" Xiao Xie asks pointing to Billy and Xu Shan's picture "it is what it is, that is the engagement pictures of me and Billy, you should understand it” Xu Shan said feeling all proud
Xiao Xie shakes her head and smile dryly “what do you mean by you and Billy's engagement?" Xiao Xie ask because she seems not to get what Xu Shan is saying or maybe she did not want to believe it, Xu Shan laugh "hey Xiao Xie, you should open your eyes, Billy is done with you, his not who you think he is, his only playing with you, his my fiancé" Xu Shan said emotionless as she look at Xiao Xie's shocked face with satisfaction
Xiao Xie look really shock as she blink her eyes with unbelief and she stagger as if they are going to fall "I…I don't get what you are trying to say" Xiao Xie stammers slowly, Xu Shan move closer to Xiao Xie and touch her "Xiao Xie, are you that dumb? Xiao Xie sees Billy's picture and his name as Tiau San as the CEO of Tiaz groups, his grandfather and the news about the engagement, she could not believe her eyes and she almost fall down because she feel so dizzy but she quickly hold a pole beside her so she will not fall and disagree herself the more “you are the only one who don’t know that am getting engaged to Billy till now” Xu Shan smirk “Xiao Xie, are that stupid?” Xu Shan said and looks at Xiao Xie sorry state
As Xu Shan keep talking to Xiao Xie about Billy as the CEO of Tiaz groups, Ray unexpectedly see them from behind "oh goodness! Is this not Miss Xiao Xie?" Ray let out and quickly went to tell Billy, Billy is still attending to the guest before the party start properly, Ray come closer to him and whisper into his ear "young master, Miss Xiao Xie is here" Billy's eyes almost pop out of it socket hearing what Ray said "excuse me please" Billy quickly tell the guest and went with Ray "what did you say just now?" Billy look at Ray surprisingly "I see Miss Xu Shan talking to Miss Xiao Xie, she looks really terrible, I don't know what they are talking about" Ray immediately answer
Before Ray and Billy gets to where Xiao Xie is standing, Xu Shan already left Xiao Xie in her sorry state, Xiao Xie holds the wall as if she will fall down at any moment, Billy sees her from the side and his face turn sore "you should go back I will take care of this" Billy said to Ray as he keep staring at Xiao Xie with a heavy heart, Xiao Xie already look paled as if all her blood has been drained "alright, young master" Ray said and leave, Billy quickly walk towards Xiao Xie and takes her by the hand without a warning, he run into one of the empty rooms that is prepared for the guest then he close the door.
