As the news was going on Gu Min receive a text message from her mother “Min, are you okay? You don't need to panic, mother will cover everything up for you, even if you are expose, mother cannot let you be punished” Gu Min's mother Tiau Zhi immediately send her daughter a text when she sees the news, Gu Min reads the text and delete it immediately because she did not want anyone to see the text since she is still working in the company
Billy's grandfather also call Billy seeing the news, since he is not yet back from their home town after his wife's death anniversary because he plans to build a restaurant in his home town with his wife's name, looking into that, Billy’s grandfather stay for more days, Billy instantly pick his grandfather’s call, he already know why his grandfather is calling him “grandfather” Billy said “grandson, did Zhang company really steal our idea?” Billy’s grandfather Billy curiously “grandfather, when you gets back I will surely tell you everything” Billy replies because he could not tell his grandfather about Gu Min on phone
Billy wants to keep the matter about Gu Min from his grandfather initially but since the matter already get to that point, he will have to tell his grandfather all about it “am already on my way” Billy grandfather said, Billy sigh knowing his grandfather must have rush back because of the matter “alright grandfather, come back safely” Billy said and ends the call
In the evening, when Gu Min gets back home from the company, her mother quickly runs to her and hold her hands “are you okay?” Tiau Zhi ask her daughter worriedly “am okay” Gu Min replies with a gloomy face “if Fu Ting or Zhang's president call you, don't pick their calls, mother will take care of everything” Tiau Zhi said to her daughter assuring her not to worry
But before she completes her statement her phone rings, it is her father calling; she looks at the phone and panicked “who is calling?” Gu Min asks her mother seeing how panicked her mother looks at the phone “father” Tiau Zhi mutters and get more panicked but she quickly hide it facing her daughter
“Grandfather!” Gu Min exclaim in a low voice looking scared, Tiau Zhi clear her throat and slowly pick the call “come to Tiau’s family house right now” Billy’s grandfather yell at his elder daughter and disconnect the call instantly, Tiau Zhi shivers looking really afraid now, hearing her father yell like that on phone means her father already knows what she and Gu Min did
Looking at her mother's scared face, Gu Min knows that they have been exposed already so she slowly walk to her mother and ask “what did grandfather says?” Gu Min blink her eyes regretting what she did, Tiau Zhi look at her daughter and force a smile “Gu Min” Tiau Zhi call her daughter softly “you don't have to worry, go upstairs and change, eat and rest, I will go meet your grandfather, there is really not to worry about” Tiau Zhi said to her daughter trying to make her less worried
Gu Min look at her mother and sigh, though she is worried but there is nothing she could do “alright mom, take care of yourself” Gu Min said still worried but she believe that her mother will find a way out, hearing her daughter Tiau Zhi smile and quickly went to change then leave for Tiau family house, seeing her mother leaves like she is going for war, Gu Min sink down into the sofa
When Billy's grandfather gets back from his home town he went to the company directly to hear what exactly happen from Billy because he could not wait, since he use the private elevator, no one knew that he came to the company include Gu Min, Billy already told his grandfather everything about Gu Min selling the company's information to Zhang's president, Billy's grandfather is really angry hearing something of such so when he gets home with Billy, he immediately call Tiau Zhi, her elder daughter to come meet him
After some time, Tiau Zhi enter Tiau’s family house, she meet with her father angry look, Billy is also in the sitting room “Father” Tiau Zhi greets her father as if she did not know what happen “how is mother's death anniversary?” she ask pretentiously because her father did not reply her greetings, old Tiau look at her daughter with fiery seeing her acting like an hypocrite, Billy’s grandfather then throw the evidence of Gu Min selling the company’s information to Zhang’s president in his hands towards Tiau Zhi
“Shut up and tell me about this” the old man roars at his elder daughter, Tiau Zhi trembles and quickly look through the evidence thrown at her, she is really shock to see that everything herself and her daughter did is all there, her face turn pale as if all the blood in her body is drain, Tiau Zhi quickly kneel down since she could not pretend or hide anymore
“Father I am wrong this time, forgive me” Tiau Zhi put her two hands together to beg her father as she shed crocodile tears “Gu Min did not do anything, am to be blame” Tiau Zhi try to defend her daughter because he knows her father, he will not deal with her alone but also with Gu Min since Gu Min is the one who sells the company’s information, Tiau Zhi knows that if she takes the blame her father will let Gu Min off
Billy is just looking his aunt by the side acting as if she did what she did unintentional, his grandfather remain silent for a long time staring angrily at her elder daughter shedding tear profusely, after some time Billy’s grandfather sigh and face Billy “Tiau San” grandfather call slowly “you should take care of this matter without getting the public involved anymore” Billy’s grandfather said and pause then continue “I don't want our family matter to get out, am really sorry for handling it this way” the old man adds feeling sorry towards his grandson
Billy lower his head hearing what his grandfather said, he is disappointed but he already knew his grandfather will be like that, though hearing his grandfather covering up the matter hurts him but he could only harking to his grandfather “alright grandfather” Billy mutters and stare at his aunt angrily
“Don't you ever get involved in the company's matter again and Gu Min should stop coming to the company” old Tiau face her daughter and said angrily “father!” Tiau Zhi shout hearing what her father said but the old man stand up furiously not wanting to hear what her daughter have to say “and also” Billy’s grandfather pause and look at her daughter’s face which still has tears “you cannot come to the company except you are called” the old man said and went upstairs with big strides
“Gu Min has nothing to do with this, let her continue work in the company” Tiau Zhi cries after her father but Billy’s grandfather did not look back, after grandfather leaves, Tiau Zhi face Billy who is still sitting “Tiau San, help me beg your grandfather, your cousin did..” Tiau Zhi wants to plead with Billy to beg his grandfather but before she could finish her statement, Billy also stand up, he looks at his aunt in annoyance and went upstairs too
Seeing Billy ignoring her, Tiau Zhi gets pissed off and instantly stand up “Tiau San, I will make you remember this evening” she said and storms out of the Tiau family house, Billy went to his room feeling really sad and disappointed, though he knew that his grandfather will not let the matter about his aunt and cousin out but his still sad since it is not the first time his aunt attacks his position
Billy lay on his bed really stressed, he check his phone and sees Xiao Xie's text “did you get home safely?” Billy smile looking at the text, seeing the text all his stress seems to disappear, so he call Xiao Xie, the call went through “When I did not see your call or text, I decide to text you” Xiao Xie said the moment she pick the calls trying to give reasons why she text him first “am really sorry, I was busy with something, how are you?” Billy replies “am fine, hope you are not tired from the trip?” Xiao Xie ask because Billy’s voice is low like someone who is worked up “am fine” Billy replies again “but you did not seems fine” Xiao Xie tells him “because I miss you” Billy decide to use the question against Xiao Xie to keep his sadness from her
Xiao Xie keeps quiet and did say anything hearing what Billy says “can you sing for me?” Billy suddenly said, since he needs something to relief himself, he thinks Xiao Xie singing to him will help him “w -w-why should I sing for you?” Xiao Xie stammer because she did expect that Billy will ask her to sing for him “I just want to hear your sweet voice” Billy said to tease Xiao Xie he actually mean it because hearing Xiao Xie's voice help him relief his stress
Xiao Xie did not say anything for some so Billy thinks she did not wants to sing but Xiao Xie is actually thinking about the song to sing, later she start singing, her voice seems to be dancing in Billy’s heart, while enjoying her sweet voice, Billy did not know when he slept off.
