Xu Shan is really unhappy because he knows that Billy just don't want to talk to her, she look at Billy as he leaves and sigh terribly, she knows that Billy did not love her but he will have to love him in the future since they will soon get engage so she is not baffled even though Billy behave like that, she pout her lips then later went inside and told the two grandfathers "something urgent came up, so Tiau San left first, he wants to come and say goodbye but I told him I will tell you" Xu Shan said with a smile trying to put in good words for Billy "I should protect my future husband, even if he doesn't love me now, we are still going to be together" she said to herself as she sit absentmindedly
Actually Billy did not have anything urgent to attend to, he only went home because he did not want to talk to Xu Shan, after sometime his grandfather also came back home, as soon as Billy's grandfather comes back he went to Billy's room to find him "Tiau San, why can't you wait for me so that we can leave together? I know that there is nothing urgent you need to attend to you" he look at grandson suspiciously "grandfather" that was just an excuse, am a little tired today that is why I left early" Billy reply grudgingly, his grandfather sigh and leave his room "may be he is really tired, did I shock him too much?" His grandfather think as he leave to his room, Billy is his only grandson after all he can not trade him for anything, is just that he did not want his grandson to get himself involve with just any girl.
That night Billy called Xiao Xie to know if her parents already told her about his grandfather's visit to her house, after Xiao Xie pick the call, "Xie" Billy call her dearly "I just want to check on you, is everything okay there?" Bill ask tiredly, he really feels tired because of the news of his engagement to Xu Shan, though the engagement will not happen now but he knows Xu Shan very well she will start to pester him "everything is okay but why are you talking as if you not okay yourself?" Xiao Xie replies him "am okay, am just a little stress today" Billy said to her "since you are so stressed, you should sleep early then" Xiao Xie suggest "I can't sleep because I have not heard you tell me something" Billy said teasing Xiao Xie again "what is it that you want me to tell you" Xiao Xie thought it is something important "just tell me you love me" Billy said in a low voice
Xiao Xie feels something suddenly hit her heart, she did not know what to do with Billy and how to even reply him but she said "why did you need to hear that from me?" Xiao Xie reply shyly, she feels that since she is not his girlfriend why should she say something like to him "because I will sleep only if I hear it from you" Billy continue flirting with her , Xiao Xie smile softly with her face already red "you are not even my boyfriend, why will I say that to you?" Xiao Xie said in a very low voice biting her lower lips, if Billy could see her now, he might actually kiss her because she is just too cute "I just need you to say it to me, so that I will be able to sleep, if not I can't sleep" Billy said like a spoilt child "I can't" Xiao Xie refuse and quickly end the call, seeing that Xiao Xie end the call, Billy smile at his own naughtiness, though he is teasing her but he really hope she will tell him she loves him, even if not tonight maybe very soon, Xiao Xie on the other hand keep blushing and smiling to herself foolishly
The next day at school, Xiao Xie is still shy about Billy's request yesterday's night, she greet him with a soft smile, Billy is so happy that Xiao Xie take the initiative to greet him since he is the one that always greet her but today Xiao Xie is the one that first greets him "did Xiao Xie wake up from the other planet today?" Billy wonders but despite he is happy, he respond to her causally and continue what he is doing, Xiao Xie is really surprise when Billy just reply her like that, today that she decide to greet him first he give him a cold shoulder, Xiao Xie become angry and pout her lips, Billy actually want to smile, greet her back and even ask about her night but he need to be cautious because of Xu Shan, if Xu Shan could get any glimpse of the two of them again, she will definitely tell her grandfather and his grandfather may do something to Xiao Xie's family, Billy did not want that so he decide to keep space from Xiao Xie for now "but why did it seems as if am thinking like a coward?" Billy ask himself "no am not a coward, am only protecting Xiao Xie and her family" he concludes within himself
That morning they are having P E, so the P E teacher take them to the field, that morning the teacher is teaching them throwing and catching with balls, Zhan Shi notice that Billy has been looking at Xiao Xie all along and has never once notice her who has been trying everything in her power for Billy to look at her but Xiao Xie who did not make any effort Billy always stare at her, it makes Zhan Shi angry that she wish Xiao Xie will disappear from the world, seeing how Billy is still staring at Xiao Xie, Zhan Shi's eyes shine wickedly and she smirk, the girls throw balls to the girls while boys throw balls to the boys, Zhan Shi look at Xiao Xie standing opposite her, though Zhan Shi and Xiao Xie are not partners but Xiao Xie is still standing opposite Zhan Shi
Zhan Shi instantly target Xiao Xie's head and throw the ball very hard towards Xiao Xie unknown to Xiao Xie but since Billy's attention is on her all along he sees that the ball will hit Xiao Xie so he quickly run to Xiao Xie and push her to dodge the ball and they both fall down, Billy quickly sit up and begin to panic "Xiao Xie are you alright? Xie" due to the sudden fall Xiao Xie faints because it is so sudden, when Billy notice that Xiao Xie did not move he quickly carry her to the infirmary and continue to call her name, everyone there is really surprise to see Billy's action, he already forgot that Xu Shan is present or maybe she could tell her grandfather, even though if she tell his own grandfather he don't care, he have to protect Xiao Xie, when Xu Shan see Billy carrying Xiao Xie in his arm shouting her name all the way to the infirmary she become green from jealousy, her eyes form mist of tears, Billy has never start a conversation with her before talk less of carrying her, Xu Shan really feel like her heart is going to pop out of her cheat because of anger.
