The next morning when Ray comes to take Billy to school, Billy's grandfather call him to his study and ask him "Ray, did you know about Tiau San and a girl called Xiao Xie in his school?" Billy's grandfather stare at Ray with a questioning look, Ray could not say anything under such situation "so that means what I heard is true" Billy's granddaughter seems sure of his accusation "alright" Billy's grandfather said nodding his head "since you also know her, I want you to get her information and everything about her family for me by tomorrow and you should not tell Tiau San about it" Billy's grandfather said, Ray did not know what to do between grandfather and grandson, he have to obey both of them "alright chairman" he said and bow. When he got into the car, Billy look at him and ask "what did grandfather say to you?" Ray is some how frustrated with this two masters but he replied "I think your grandfather knows about Miss Xiao Xie" he only said that and start the ignition, Billy already knows the situation so he did not ask further and they went off.
At school during lunch time, Billy ask Xiao Xie "what happened yesterday?" He look really nervous, Xiao Xie look at him sadly "when I got home yesterday I met my mom crying and everything in our store was scattered" she explained everything to Billy, after Billy heard everything Xiao Xie said he sighed deeply and look calm, he thought his grandfather meet with Xiao Xie but it is actually something else, so he look into her eyes and hold her hands together "everything will be okay" Billy said, Xiao Xie look at him and feel assured and dependant on him
The next day, Ray handover Xiao Xie's information to Chairman Tiau, Billy's grandfather, the old man look at Xiao Xie's information and his face turn sore "you mean this is the girl Tiau San is making friends with?" Billy's grandfather face Ray with an angry look "Yes chairman" Ray answer and look down, Billy's grandfather seeing how Ray look down makes him confirm that the information is really that of Xiao Xie's and it is really the girl his grandson called his friend, suddenly Billy's grandfather start to laugh which startled Ray, he laugh so hard that tears were almost coming out of his eyes, Ray look at the old man with surprise, seeing the old man laughing like that Ray feels that something is not right "why will chairman be laughing like that after seeing Miss Xiao Xie's information?" Ray thinks but did not say anything
"Alright you can go back to the company" Billy's grandfather said to Ray still laughing "yes chairman" Ray said and he left, Ray will never know that Billy's grandfather laugh that much because he looks down on Xiao Xie and her family, before, the old man thinks the girl His grandson is going out with his some average girl but realizing that it's actually someone poor he could not but laugh mockingly
After Ray left the house, Billy's grandfather face look turn angry and he stare at the information before him like he will devour it "low lives" he said under his breath then he pick his phone to call Xu Shan's grandfather "old Xu, about the girl from yesterday Xiao Xie or what is her name, the one you talk about yesterday, you don't need to get angry anymore, I will make sure to take care of everything" Billy's grandfather said reassuring Xu Shan's grandfather, when Xu Shan's grandfather heard what Billy's grandfather said he laugh and said "old Tiau, how can I get angry about that small issue, I know it's nothing and you will take care of everything, seeing my granddaughter cried I just couldn't take it that is why I react like that yesterday do not take it to heart" Xu Shan's grandfather said laughing and continue talking
"Moreover we have been friends for a long time why will that small issue come between us" Xu Shan's granddaughter pause as if thinking about something then he said "is just that I don't play with anything that have to do with Xu Shan" Xu Shan's grandfather deliberately point it out, what he is trying to say to Billy's grandfather with that statement is "you know that we have been friends for so long so don't let this small issue come between us because I don't play with my granddaughter" hearing Xu Shan's grandfather say something like that Billy's grandfather also understand what he is trying to say and smile "alright old Xu, let us have dinner together later, this one is on me" Billy's grandfather said meaningfully, Xu Shan grandfather also smile "alright, that will be great" Xu Shan's grandfather reply "tell Xu Shan not to crying anymore, I will take care of everything" Billy's grandfather adds "alright Old Tiau" Xu Shan's grandfather laugh happily hearing what Billy's grandfather said, they talk about other things and later end the call
After Billy's grandfather end the call, he and his personal driver immediately went to Xiao Xie's address which is in the information Ray gave to him, few minutes they get to the front of Xiao Xie's house, seeing the environment Billy's grandfather look disgusted, he slowly come down from his car scrutinizing the place as if he is an environmental officer, with that he went to the front of Xiao Xie's house, his driver press the ring button and Xiao Xie's mother come to open the door "who is there? She said as she thought it is one of their neighbors but she is surprise to see a rich old man standing in front of her house
"who are you looking for?" She ask but Billy's grandfather did not answer the question but said "can we come inside?" Xiao Xie's mother look confused but she ask them to come in, they went inside and sit down, Billy's grandfather did not sit down but stand because he feels that the place is dirty and he can't sit, looking at the old man's attitude Xiao Xie's mother is not surprise at his action but she is angry seeing him behave like that, though she is angry she still offer them something "should I bring tea for you?" She ask but before she could finish asking Billy's grandfather instantly reject her "no need, we are okay" Xiao Xie's mother look at the old man to know why they came to their house "what then can I do for you?" Xiao Xie's mother ask angrily but her face looks calm, Billy's grandfather then clear his throat
"I heard that you have some problem concerning money issues" Billy's grandfather said and look at Xiao Xie's mother to confirm, Xiao Xie's mother is really surprise at the strange old man who come into her house and is even saying that they had money issues "how did he know? And who is he?" Xiao Xie's mother thought to herself but keep quiet and let Billy's grandfather continue "so I came here to help you" Billy's grandfather said proudly, Xiao Xie's mother's eyes lit with hope thinking his really there to help them "is he truly here to help us?" She thought again and ask Billy's grandfather "if I may ask, who are you? Because I don't seems to know you" she said trying to force a smile so that the old man will not be offended
"I will offer you two million yang" the old man did not answer Xiao Xie's mother's question but continue to talk "but you have tell your daughter to leave my grandson and she must not have anything to do with him again" Billy's grandfather said with a serious face and end his words then look to Xiao Xie's mother for answer, Xiao Xie's mother realize that this old man did not come with good intention, she is angry this time but she did not show it "I don't understand what you are talking about, who is your grandson If I may ask?" Xiao Xie's mother look at the old man curiously, Billy's grandfather is somehow angry to hear Xiao Xie's mother questioning him "this woman keep asking him so many questions, she did not even talk about what he said" Billy's grandfather thought angrily and signal to his driver.
