The next day Billy and Xiao Xie travelled to the village as Billy said with some bodyguards and a lot of gifts, though he did not really prepared much but to Xiao Xie's family, the gifts are more than enough, when they entered the village it is like the arrival of royalties, people in the village stare at the cars because it looks strange to see cars like that in the village, when they got to Xiao Xie's house, it is only her mother that is at home, her father is in the farm working so Xiao Xie's mother went to call her father, after her father comes, they offer Billy a warm welcome, Billy and Xiao Xie are surprise because they thought that Xiao Xie’s parents will get angry with them
"Mom, dad, I thought you two will be angry with me" Xiao Xie said "why should we be angry with you? Since you too already decide to be together, there is nothing will can do" Xiao Xie’s father said "am really sorry for not telling you about everything" Xiao Xie said looking guilty "you don't have to be sorry, it's your life and since you don't bring shame to us, it's okay" Xiao Xie’s father said again "am really sorry for announcing our relationship like that without letting you know" Billy said slowly "we understand you, young people nowadays are too impatient but we understand, we are not too old not to understand" Xiao Xie's father replies
"So what are your plans for Xie?" Xiao Xie's mother suddenly ask Billy, Billy then clear his throat "I want to marry Xiao Xie but since we are still both young, we will be getting engaged next week" Billy made his intention known, Xiao Xie seems shock hearing Billy saying that they will officially get engaged next week, he did not tell her that before, Xiao Xie looks at him surprisingly, Billy also look at her and smile, he already proposed it in his mind but he wants to see the look in Xiao Xie’s face as she looks right now
"We will also be going to abroad together for our university education because that is what my late grandfather wants for me" Billy also adds, this time Xiao Xie is astonished "you mean, we will go to abroad to study together?" Xiao Xie instantly ask with unbelief "yes" Billy replies but still facing Xiao Xie's parents as if his not talking to Xiao Xie, Xiao Xie's father nods because Billy seems to have good plans for their daughter "alright, if that is your plans, we are in full support of you two" Xiao Xie's father said
Xiao Xie smile happily and hug both her parents "thank you" she said beaming with joy, she thought that they might not agree because of who Billy is, Xiao Xie's father love his reputation, so Xiao Xie thinks that her father might not agree because of what people will say but hearing that her father support them, she is really happy, Billy on other hand is so over joyous but he could not just show it, he smile secretly when he hears that Xiao Xie's father agrees to the relationship, Xiao Xie's mother sigh happily and went to bring some tea
Though herself and her husband has went through a lot in the past years but she wish her only daughter will not have a tough life like them, seeing her wish come true, Xiao Xie’s mother cannot but be happy, after she brings the tea, she place it in front of Billy, Billy sip the tea and put the cup down, he clear his throat because he is about to say something, Xiao Xie and his parents looks to him and Billy feel somehow nervous to say what he wants to say
"Since we are now family, I...I. I want you to sign this" Billy said and bring out a documents, Xiao Xie and her parents are surprise to hear Billy saying that they should sign a documents, they look somehow angry "is not something bad" Billy quickly clear the air, Xiao Xie look at him suspiciously thinking he wants to hurt his family, so she take the documents from him and check to see what is written in it, the moment Xiao Xie sees what is in the documents are mouth drops, she look extremely shock and stare at Billy with so much shock written on her face then look to her parents with her eyes suddenly forming mist of tears
Xiao Xie's parents look surprise at their daughter's reaction, so Xiao Xie’s father quickly collects the documents from her and also check "what!" Xiao Xie’s father exclaims in unbelief "what is it?" Xiao Xie's mother asks and quickly looks into the documents "you want to transfer 5% shares of your company to us!" Xiao Xie's mother shouts, it is as if her brain stop calculating, the family of three could not believe what they see and what is happening to them right now, Billy is somehow confuse with their reactions
Actually, he already plan to transfer the shares to them before that time and since he get the shares of Xu Shan's grandfather, it seems rightful to him to just give her parents-in-law some of the shares but seeing their reactions right now, Billy is surprise "tell me this is not true" Xiao Xie face Billy with teary eyes and ask "a.. am I worth all of these?" Xiao Xie ask not believing Billy will do something like that for her parents
After Xiao Xie’s father's small company went bankrupt, Xiao Xie already lost all hope that things will not be able to get back to normal but with everything happening to them right now, it's seems their life will change for better, Billy smile softly "it is right for me to do that for your parents" Billy tells her indifferently "I don't think I can accept this" Xiao Xie's father suddenly said "we are grateful for everything you have done for our daughter but this I can't take it" Xiao Xie's father said with teary eyes
Billy look surprise hearing Xiao Xie’s father rejection and quickly explain "I don't mean to put you down or look down at you, but you are now my father-in-law, 5% of the shares to our company is rightfully yours" Billy said with a serious face, Xiao Xie's father keep quiet as if he could not get himself yet or maybe he is deliberating on something likewise Xiao Xie’s mother, she keep quiet without knowing what to say "dad, you should take it" Xiao Xie said softly, Xiao Xie’s father slowly look at Xiao Xie’s eyes with his red eyes and tears fall from his eyes "thank you" he said to Billy
"You don't need to thank me father-in-law, you gave me your only precious daughter" Billy look at Xiao Xie "and I will forever cherish her" Billy said smiling "can I sign it?" Xiao Xie's father ask not sure if everything happening is true "sign here, father in law" Billy said and Xiao Xie's father look at Billy's face before he picks up the pen to sign the documents still not believing it "thank you so much" Xiao Xie said hugging Billy tightly in the presence of her parents
"Father-in-law, you should also leave the village" Billy said to Xiao Xie's father "don't worry, we will stay here and start a very big farm to help your company in the future" Xiao Xie’s father said feeling really grateful "alright, if that is what you want" Billy said and give one of the documents for transfer of shares to Xiao Xie's father and also take one "father-in-law, mother-in-law" Billy calls the two and stand up "we will like to take our leave" he said pulling Xiao Xie up "alright" Xiao Xie's parents both replies and they follow them out to the car "mom, dad I will come back later" Xiao Xie said hugging both her parents happily
After that she gets into the car with Billy, her parents waves and the car depart with the cars of the bodyguards following them, the moment the car starts, Xiao Xie lean towards Billy, since they are both sitting at the back with the driver driving them, Xiao Xie stares into Billy's eyes as if she is taking all of him in, without minding the driver, Xiao Xie start to kiss Billy’s lips as if devouring them, Billy did not expect that Xiao Xie will do something like that, but he give in to her and kiss her also "huh huh" the driver cough and Xiao Xie stop and smile "you are too sweet" Xiao Xie lick her lips seductively, Billy smirk and draw Xiao Xie closer to himself "you will get what you call for" Billy said and pulls Xiao Xie to himself then draws the portioning of the car and everything becomes dark.
