In the evening, Billy went to the dinner with the two men from earlier in one big restaurant, even though he knew what they are up to he decides to go to the dinner, the old men were chatting with him over dinner "CEO San, we really did not understand you well when the chairman wants to make you the CEO, but now we see that you are the son of your father" Mr. Xi said giggling
Billy understand what he meant, when his father was still the president, the two old men also don't want his father to become the CEO, that is why his grandfather make him the CEO instead of a president, they were the ones that stand against his father in every way, because his father refuse to come to their side and his father also find out how they secretly wants his aunt Tiau Zi to take over the company, his father told him the last time he came to China for new year, but his father could not expose them before he had that accident
Billy remembering all these things, he feel so much anger in him right now towards the old foxes but he suppress his anger and smile "am really happy that you think that am so much like my father, you should really be careful in the future" Billy indirectly warns them, the two old men look shock at Billy's respond so they glance at each other "we will really be careful in the future" they said cautiously and smiled mischievously, they continue to eat when Ray suddenly come closer to Billy after checking someone on his phone, he whisper something to Billy's ear
Billy instantly look flustered and his face changed but he try to retain his normal self, he smile and face the two old men "I really have something urgent to attend to, I will have to leave now" he said and immediately stand to leave "the dinner is on me" he adds and ask Ray to pay for the dinner and they both leave
"What did you say happen to Xiao Xie and her family?" Billy ask worriedly as they got into the car "his brother had an attack while we were abroad and it become worst, then he could not make it" Ray replied quickly "did you say the burial rite is this evening?" Billy ask again "yes young master" Ray also reply him, Billy become sad and he looks very angry at the same time, he did not know who he is angry with maybe himself or someone else, he could not imagine that while he was abroad Xiao Xie was facing a lot and he thought she did not call him
"Did you know where the burial rite is taking place?" Billy ask curiously "yes" Ray already ask about it "drive to the place now" Billy commands, Ray instantly turn on the ignition and speed off to the hospital funeral hall
At the funeral hall, everyone that came already left because it was late, it is only Xiao Xie and her parents that were there, her mother sit dispirited, she sit down in the front of her son's picture and look at it without blinking, Xiao Xie's father is taking care of things that were used for the funeral, Xiao Xie also sit in a corner, she curled up herself and hug her knee staring blankly at a particular spot
Billy enter the funeral hall and went to pay his respect then greet Xiao Xie's mother who only nods her head, looking at Xiao Xie's mother, Billy feel a surge in his heart, he also greet Xiao Xie's father "am Xiao Xie's friend from school" Billy bow and greet him, that is the only way he could introduce himself even though Xiao Xie has not regard him as her friend
"Where is Xiao Xie?" Billy ask in a low voice looking around because he did not seems to see her since she curl up in a corner, Xiao Xie's father slowly point to a corner, Billy look to the corner and see Xiao Xie curled up like a folder, she look really terrible, Billy move closer to her, he watch her sobbing quietly all by herself, if one did not move closer to her they will not know she is crying, Billy sigh deeply and slowly bend down to sit beside her on the floor
Billy's face turn sad the moment he sees Xiao Xie sobbing like that, he kept quiet for some time before he later said with a sad voice "I was not in school because I had to help my grandfather with some works" he pause and continue "when I keep calling your number and no one is picking, I was so worried so I ask around and I later find out what happen, am really sorry for your lost and for coming so late" Billy said sincerely, he could not tell Xiao Xie that he went abroad those period because no one in their school knows who he is except the principal
Xiao Xie put her head up which is hanging low and look at Billy's worried face, she did not know what to say to Billy because she never expect that any of her classmates will know talk less of coming since she always keep to herself, Xiao Xie wonders how Billy gets to know since she did not tell anyone not even their teachers but seeing him Xiao Xie feel so thankful, she stare at Billy for some time and later put her head down again without saying anything, Billy also stare at her feeling her pain but he don't know why he feel pain so much in his heart for her
After some times Billy try to say something again since Xiao Xie did not talk and keep looking down "Xiao Xie you should try and get yourself together and also make sure to eat something, you have to be strong for your parents" Billy said and sigh "I will be going now take care of yourself" he stand up reluctantly and his about to leave, he really wants to stay with Xiao Xie the more but he knows his grandfather will start calling so he decide to leave, Xiao Xie's father ask Xiao Xie to see him off when he sees that Billy is leaving, Xiao Xie stand up like a controlled robot and follow Billy out.
