Chapter 19 Fell In Love With Her Again

They hugged each other tightly.

Bella was embarrassed. She stood where she was and didn't return to the elevator, but she didn't dare to move forward.

When David finally ended the passionate tongue kiss, Bella saw the woman and realized it was not Lanny.

When the woman left, David patted her on the ass.

Bella was shocked.

She remembered that David said a lot of affectionate words to Lanny at the wedding party.

It turned out that he was putting on a show at that time. He had cheated on Lanny.

"Bella." David saw Bella at the elevator door.

Bella walked towards him.

As Bella walked, the hem of her dress swayed slightly, and David had been staring at her ankles.

Bella repressed her impatience, "I saw you kiss her. David, you're married now. If Lanny knows your relationship with this woman, she won't let you go."

He said in a proud tone, "I just make use of her to go through business deals. You don't have to take her seriously."

David looked at Bella's delicate face, "Bella, we haven't talked with each other since we divorced. Let me treat you to dinner today."

He had decided which hotel to go to with Bella after dinner.

Bella took a deep breath, "I don't want to talk to you. I'll remind you for the last time. Don't do anything to betray Lanny."

After that, she walked past David and went to her car.

David watched as Bella drove away. The eye-catching logo on the expensive car made him more determined.

He fell in love with Bella again. He must make her his lover.

The next day, Bella found she had her period.

A burst of pain came from her lower abdomen. She huddled in her chair and bent down.

She covered her belly. It was so painful that her lips turned pale.

Every time she had a period, she would suffer. It was like a torment every month.

At this time, Bella wished she could be a man.

It was too painful. She would rather faint than endure the torture. She felt as if there was a sharp knife slowly cutting her body.

When Bella couldn't help groaning in pain, someone entered her office.

She raised her head with difficulty. To her surprise, she saw the president.

Edward wanted to see Bella, so he came to her. Unexpectedly, she didn't look well.

"What's wrong with you?" Edward asked nervously.

Bella gasped, "I have a period. President, why are you here?"

She wanted to ask him to leave, or she had to restrain herself and stop herself from moaning in pain.

Edward walked to her, "Are women so painful when they have a period?"

Bella was not used to being so close to him. Moreover, she was so weak at this time.

However, she had to reply to him, "The pain will only last for a while, and it will be all right if I endure it. President, I won't affect my work."

"What a silly woman," Edward said.

"Ah?" Bella looked at him in confusion.

Edward stretched out his arm and carried her in his arms.

Edward adjusted his arm so that she could lean against his arms more comfortably.

Then he strode out with Bella in his arms.

Behind them, David crushed the flowers in his hand, and the broken petals fell at his feet.

He specially asked his subordinate to order the freshest flowers and came to Bella in person.

In the past, every time he bought flowers for Bella, she would be so delighted.

He wanted Bella to remember their wonderful old days in this way, and he wanted to win her heart.

Bella let the president carry her in his arms.

Edward carried Bella to the president's office.

He placed her gently on the sofa like he did last time.

Bella saw a young man with short brown hair walk to the president.

"President." Said the man named Andrew.

Edward glanced at Bella, "Call the doctor and ask him to come."
