Chapter 110: Chapter 110

(Avery’s Thoughts)

We are waiting at the lobby when a man approaches us from behind. He says something to Dmitri and I don’t even understand what is.

Then Dmitri holds my hand and I follow, “Let’s go, the chauffeur is here.”

“You’re not going to drive?” I ask.

He shakes his head, “I don’t want to drive drunk, Avery.” That’s one thing I notice with Dmitri, I’ve never seen him drive drunk. And that’s domething admirable isn’t it?

The chauffeur opens the door for us, Dmitri lets me in first, and then he follows.

Then he begins to introduce me the people we are going to meet later, “Avery, I want to tell you a little bit about them. Whatever you hear, keep it to yourself, okay? And, they are really different,” the he stops and become quiet for some time,

“If ever they say something pertaining to you, please be patient. They don’t know how to control their mouths, they don’t even know you’ll come. And, if you hear some secrets, you can ask me later when we are alone. But please, don’t do anything in front of them. They are as powerful as me, and I treat them as brothers,” he says.

I nod. And I keep in mind everything he says. Dmitri always lets me do what I want, he never tells me what to do, all, except this time. So I am sure, he has a good reason behind it. So I didn’t question him and just agree with him.

A few more minutes, we finally arrive at one casino with a big colorful neon signage, ‘Casa Real de Cartas’.

I was right, this place is even livelier at night. It is so unrecognizable in the morning. Now, it is fully packed with crowds. And most of them came from different countries, I belief.

Dmitri keeps me close to him as we walk in between crowds. Even though, two body guards in front are making way for us, it is still hard to walk with two on each side of us and two behind us are securing our pathway.

“Dee, what’s this? Are you some kind of a celebrity here?” I ask him as I notice some people murmuring when we arrive. Everyone’s staring at us and somehow clearing our pathway.

I can only breath properly when we pass the entrance, and I am so entranced by what I am seeing right now.

A high dome-like ceiling with crystal chandeliers dripping from above first caught my eyes. It is followed by the red-carpetted wall in the whole premises.

Lots of slot machines and panchinko machines are located on bith sides. Roulette in the middles of the area, and people around it are loudly bickering with a smile. On the left, two tables with card players are concentrating. And on the right side are other forms of vices inside a casino.

This is my first time entering a casino and I am so astounded with it. I could barely walk. Not until Dmitri secures my back, “Hey, we gotta keep moving,” he whispers ot me.

The two of us, and the bodyguards probably catch the attention of the casino players. People begin to murmur to themselves while staring at us as we walk in the middle.

To be honest, I feel a little bit awkward and suffocated, but anyway, it doesn’t matter, as long as, he’s beside me. I let him lead the way and follow me.

After sometime, I can see there’s more to this place. A bar on each corner, and some are on the balcony of the second floor.

But somehow, we don’t go for the stairs, but instead, we go further, deeper on the right side of the hallway.

I hold Dmitri’s hand, and he looks at me, “You’re cold, are you alright? That’s why I told you to wear some overall,” he jests.

“Shut up, Dee. Are we there yet? I am just a little nervous,” I explain to him.

“Don’t worry, they could be kind, well, in a different manner, that is,” then he chuckles.

“You are not helping, Dee.”

“Is this your first time in a place like this?” he asks.

“Everything is a first with you,” I don’t know why I said it but it hit a mark.

He suddenly blushes and he turns his gaze away from me. He walks with eyes on the front.

FInally, we reach a closed room, with lots of body guard as well, outside. When we are just apart, I see the small sign on the door, “For VVIP Clients only.”

I scoff, “Everything has the VVIP thing.” He only laughs at my statement, and then finally, the door opens.

But inside inside is incomparable outside. All the interior here is all grand, expensive, and truly prepared for VVIP. If the chandelier there is made of crystals and silver, probably real gems and gold in here, or even a diamond at this rate.

I try to hide my amusement so I won’t stain Dmitri’s reputation or something. As soon as we step in, a balcony with golden bars are filled with three equally handsome guys in their all expensive suits.

And one of them immediately recognizes Dmitri from above as he shouts, “All Hail! The King of the Hotels is here!!!!! Give it up for Mister Dmitri Sullivan!!!” he announces as if he’s some kind of an emcee, or a host, filled with energy, and at the same time mockery.

I see Dmitri’s face twitches a little, and he shakes his head, he even sends off a dirty finger to him, first time I see him do it.

Then another one appears, “Hey, hey, that’s not right I’ll be hurt if you introduce him that way, I also have hotels, you, dimwit,” says the black-haired one to the blonde-haired man.

And the two of them hit each other like kids. Dmitri is right after all, they are like kids. Then I see the third person just sitting and enjoying his drinks.

He is quiet, but wait, “Is he glaring at me?” I ask myself.

Few seconds after the announcement, many people try to greet Dmitri by raising their glasses. Later on, I was told that the people here are all millionaires and billionaires.

Dmitri immediately leads me upstairs, “Avery, this way, before we get caught in this crowd.”

“So, you are famous?” then I poke his side.

“Well, you can say that,” he says shortly.

“So, they can’t bother you up there?” I ask again.

“They can’t, only ten people can go here. You know, privileged VVIP, and add another V in front of it,” then he chuckles.

“Goodness, how many V’s do you need,” I frown.

“Only, you A–V–ery,” he laughs as he plays with the sound of my name. I ignore his laugh and just continue climbing upstairs.

Once I’ve reached the highest platform, all eyes are on me, the three pair of handsome eyes scrutinize me from head to foot. I don’t know why but the feeling of being skinned alive is undeniably obvious.

Or should I say, being stripped naked?

Not long, I see the loud blonde man rushing towards me, but Dmitri is too quick to respond to him. Dmitri blocks my view with his body, and halts his friend’s arms which are widely open.

Then he clicks his tongue, “Not her, Lucian, she’s mine.”

The blonde man is way shorter than Dmitri. I think he is even a little shorter than me. I was taken aback of his aggression so my back is almost glued to the gold bars.

Then he pushes the guy named Lucian far away, and then he collects me from my place.

He wraps his hand arounmy waist tightly and say, “Boys, this is Avery Anderson, my woman,” he bluntly introduces me as his woman. With this, I already feel drunk before even drinking.

But as he mentions my name, one person, the black-haired one, spits his drink out to Lucian’s shoes.

“You asshole! The fuck man!” Lucian aggressively yells at him.

“Sorry, dude,” he says to Lucian, and then he immediately walks towards me. Then he looks back at Dmitri, to me, and then back to him, “Wait, dude, is she?” he pauses.

I gulp waiting at what he’ll say, “Is he the elevator girl, the hallway girl whom you had just sex scandal with?” and there he goes, blatantly dropping the bomb as if it was nothing.

Just like Dmitri has said, they don’t know when to stop. I cover my face with my palm and slightly look sideways.

“Asshole!” Dmitri kicks him, “Move out, we are taking this spot,” he says to him and totally ignores the issue he just said.

I thought he would address it but he didn’t. Maybe that’s why he gave me those warning before. Am I wrong to come here? But wait, why don’t I feel sensitively affected by that issue? Well, not anymore.

After we sit down, Lucian who doesn’t know how to speak softly utters, “Hey, you look even more gorgeous in person, and damn, you are so hot and steamy in that pink maxi dress.”

“Right?” Leo, the black-haired man, according to Dmitri, agrees on what Lucian said, then he even adds, “Look at her legs. Damn, everyone would kill for that legs. I wonder how it feels to go in between her legs,” and there goes their green jokes.

Dmitri throws them some bottles of unopened beer, “Fuck off, you two! Enough!” he sternly says with his serious voice.

“What’s wrong? We are just fooling around. We know the rules, we don’t touch each other’s girl, man. But damn, you hit the jackpot!” the two of them continue giving their sexual comments about my body as if I wasn’t there. But surprisingly, I don’t feel much offended.

As long as they don’t touch me, I’m good!

Then Leo directly addresses me, “Avery, right? I watched your live stream a fefw years ago,” I gulp the moment he mentions it. Dmitri straighten his seat and speaks up, “Hey, stop it!” but I hold his hand telling him to calm down.

And I lift my head and face Leo, “Yep, and?”

“And damn, you were one hot chick! I can say you are still feisty, huh! So, you came back? Did you know, I was the first one Dmitri called when you left? Because that was my hotel you were staying at,” he even proudly said.

“You were? Damn it, Dmitir. Why didn’t you call me and Damien? Why did you only call this, douchebag, Leo?” Lucian says jealous like a kid.

“Shut up, man! It’s been a long time!” Dmitri says.

“Well, maybe you were too slow in giving him my whereabouts, that’s why he couldn’t catch me on time,” I jest, and everyone goes silent. At first, I feel nervous maybe I shouldn’t joke around, but then, all of them, even Damien laugh.

“Damn, you are good!” Leo says. “I like her, Dmitri, strong personality, ei. So do you plan on marrying her?”

Both Dmitri and I look at each other, then I respond, “Like I said, you were too slow, see, I am engaged to someone else.” And I showed them my ring.

Then Lucian and Leo talk with each other, “So, why are you here? With him? And he even said you are his woman!”

“I am his other man,” Dmitri announces it, and I can hear the dismay in his voice even if he keeps the straight face. Now, I regret bringing it up. I see Damien slightly gazes at me.

“What’s wrong with him? Dee says he’s fun and active. Why the hell is he acting like this?” I thought.

Before the conversation continues, some girls in uniform bring some drinks and three sets of shisha pipe in different color.

I almost stand up seeing those things, I whisper to Dmitri, “Hey, are those–”

“–I warned you, didn’t I? You don’t need to if you don’t want to,” he says and then he kisses me on my lips.

“Damn, Dmitri. You are so unfair! You didn’t tell us you were bringing a girl, and now I have to endure Leo and Damien’s face!” Lucian complains.

I chuckle at his childish act. “Then, why don’t we order some girls?” Leo suggests and he even asks Damien who has been so quiet.

“I want one, blonde and white,” for the first time I hear him speak up.

“So you can order women, too?” I ask Dmitri again. Then he brushes my nose and hands me some drinks.

Then he takes one end of the shisha pipe and begins smoking. I stare at him as I drink mine.

“Oh my goodness, he is really doing it, isn’t he?” I say to myself. And not just him, but all of them.

So I close my eyes a bit and contemplate, “Avery, you signed up for this, didn’t you? You knew, and you still came. Now, don’t be a party-pooper and don’t be weak. Welcome to the Billionaire’s world, bitch!” I remind myself.

And so, I grab the other pipe Dmitri’s been smoking, and begin to hit it.
