(MAPLE’S POV)
"I'm sorry, I can't remember you." I modestly replied “Do I know you? You do seem familiar. ”
I was shocked when he suddenly entered my room, I thought they had left with Aurelius. When they left Killian was looking at me, does he remember me? I don't know but he's been staring at me for a while. I didn't look back.
He was full of wounds and had dark circles under his eyes as well. is he ok? Only now did I see him so sad, I remember him having a spilled personality according to Maple’s memories.
Based on what I remember from the memories, he has a split personality due to trauma and experiences. Maybe because of the massacre that happened in our house, he told me that he saw that. Maybe that triggered it? He did also forget me like I forgot him, pero does he remember me ba?
Wait, what if his split personality remembers me too? I did meet him once at the library, but it was dark and I never knew him because of his new structure and face. I mean Killian does look cute when we were younger, but she's even more handsome.
Even if I promised the previous Maple that I wouldn't pay attention to Killian, I wouldn't be able to do it. Her feelings and my feelings were the same! Now that it’s combined, I like her even more! damn it-
"Wh-what?" he asked tearfully… I would have liked to hug him but I have to be metatag. He did make me suffer, so I just feel cold with him. why is he crying? Killian didn't cry then! "W-why n-again?"
I sighed and shook my head. I acted as if I was trying to remember what happened to us then.
“Excuse me mister ah? I don't really remember you, I only meet your parents. ” I answered his question, that was obviously a lie. We were always able to be together and run away then.
“You’re lying…“ My eyes widened when he suddenly said that, did he remember ?! No, no… it doesn’t look like he remembers but it looks like someone is telling him. Is it his split personality ?!
Ok, Maple. Keep your cool, ignore Killian's emotion. He looks horrible and pitiful right now. I have to keep my promise, her emotions and heartaches. I felt that too… especially when it comes to Killian. So I just gave him an innocent look.
“Hey! Don't be like that young lady. He just woke up, you promised us not to cause trouble! ” Ophelia shouted loudly at Killian, wow she grew up so much. It seems like he used to stutter when I talked to him. "Guess you're the one who likes to break promises."
I just didn’t speak, she’s sooo mad at Killian and I really feel sorry for Kill. He bowed down and knelt down. He was still crying, poor guy indeed. Sadly, I have to be cold first for the sake of the promise and for the sake of my revenge.
“I ... I want to talk to her-
"That's enough Killian, we're cousins but respect young lady!" said Ophelia to her, I bit my lip so hard. We heard a knock at the door and we saw Juno, he’s grown up as well.
“Pardon my intrusion. I want to speak with Ophelia, along with master Aurelius. ” Juno bowed his head, guess he already knows I’m awake since he acted as a servant to Aurelius. "Greetings young lady Maple."
I just nodded, Ophelia looked at me like she’s asking permission to leave. but she immediately glared at Killian who was still busy on her knees. He was murmuring and mumbling something…
“It's ok Ophelia, I wanted to talk to mister… Killian too. you should go. ” She made a face before leaving, Lucian and Zack joined them. while only Killian was left.
Ok Maple, time to act once again. Don’t get emotional, just… just don’t be yourself. We still have the same personality as the former Maple. Well duh, it’s because she is me and I’m her. we just really forgot.
“Uh… mister-
"Killian." He replied softly to me, I just innocently looked at him and nodded. “Just call me by name, don’t call me mister. It’s like ... I’m somebody. ”
“O-oh! Sure Killian. So uh… why do you seem so mad at me because I didn’t know you? ’The tone of my speech became serious. he stood up and walked towards me. "Are you someone important in my life?"
The tone is cold and I think of him but he just bowed, am I too harsh? Should I be harsher? It's better for him to stay away from me first for the meantime, I have business with Berry and maybe he can get involved again.
“You see, whenever I see you. It's like someone developed anger… or something. When I look at you, I only feel anger. ” I added, I’m going to push him away for the sake of promise and revenge. "Have you done anything to me in the past?"
"I I did." He whispered softly and came closer, as if he were a crying child. Back then, Killian wouldn't even cry in front of me and she was always brave. "H-I didn't do my p-promise a-and left you, because of… her"
To be honest, I just said asked blunt and he answered me properly.
"He said you remembered me." I was stopped by what he said. Heh? His split personality? Can he talk about it? Wow… so… he can see me too? "He said we met before."
By the way, I remember. The only way to lose his split personality is to find a link. Will his memory come back if he already has a link? Will they also be combined like me and and dating Maple? What could happen?
"And you said you love me." I could barely move at what he said. What ?! I do remember I did! But I don't inexpect him to say just that !?
“Really? I'm sorry I don't really remember. ” I almost stuttered !!! Shit. But my acting was always on point, cold and innocent as it is. Just answer and talk to him like that Maple, he won’t know. We looked at each other when my door suddenly opened.
"Young lady, I have something to report." Maple said while looking at Killian. Thank God! I was saved by Ophelia !!! Killian looked at me, she was crying again… why is she crying? Is he guilty?
"I I will see you again." Killian said reluctantly and slowly walked out of my room. I don’t know why he; s acting like that. Is he guilty because he left me? Or does he have regrets because he chose Vanilla? Or does he love me too…?
It’s either one of those or none… or all of the above? We will not jump to conclusion first. Ophelia turned to me and frowned. "Welcome back young lady."
“Thank you Ophelia, now let’s get on to business. What did I missed and tell me everything you know. ” I said seriously and looked away, I don’t have time for Killian now. All I need is a sweet revenge.
Ophelia told me about Berry or Belle, she is said to be one of my family's inexperienced. Even though I didn’t know that, I didn’t even know my family does that. Belle is from the Tigris Family, it wasn’t really a popular family before. I don’t know why Berry needs to act as my sister dati, but she does it good.
Ophelia said that Aurelius has the remaining information that we need. And we will be discussing it soon when I am well, so all I need is to take some rest and be healed soon. Thank God I won’t see Killian first, I’ll let Ophelia handle him.
“Oh and young lady. Aunt Kailey says that you will be staying in the Leopold residence once you’re healed. Information about the Tigris family will also be discussed there, she also said she can’t wait to see you. ”
