" wait what. " Gwen asked as she looks at Vince.

" I am not the leader. I am just the person who conduct these meetings. " Vince explains.

" and take charge of all events that has to do with the primordials. " Courtney added.

" and organise meeting with other races when it comes to that. " Caleb added.

" and represent us for those meetings. " Jake said

" and tell us what to do when we are faced with a problem that we cannot control " Matthew adds.

" not to mention, take over when we are extremely tired. " Elijah mentioned.

" great, you are all ganging up on me. " Vince muttered.

" no we are not. We just want you to accept the name for what you have been doing for more than a thousand years now. " Jessica said with a fond voice that made Vince glare at her and she giggled at his glare.

" I have just been doing what any of you would have done. Only that I did it first. " Vince argues.

" yes, you did it first and not any of us would do it. I wouldn't touch anything that has to do with leadership with a ten foot pole if you didn't force me to. You are the leader of the primordials. Dude, accept it for once. " Jake said as Vince glared at him.

" no, I won't and this discussion is getting ridiculous. I am not the leader. "

" because you refuse to accept the title. " Courtney said.

" you are not the leader officially but you are the leader unofficially. " Caleb added.

" enough, we are wasting time. Let's just deal with this issue. " Vince said hoping to put a stop to the discussion.

Jessica sighed at her brother denial, only he can deny something for more than a thousand years. She look at Gwen who had a small smile on her lips as she looks at her mate. When she raised her head. Jessica said " see. "

" I do. " Gwen said to her.

" Jessica. " Vince snaps.

" what, all I said was see. Did I say anything about you refusing to accept the official post of leadership after a thousand years of pigheadness. Huh, did I? " Jessica argues as the primordials burst into laughter around them.

" I should know better than to call you out on your actions. " Vince said with a shake of his head.

" you should. " Jessica said.

" funny and all but can we just go back to why we came here in the first place. The meeting, the attacks and our revenge. " Jake said as the mood plummets.

" okay, so what do we know. " Caleb asks.

" we know that witches and werewolves are attacking our people. And they attacked my city last week and killed a baker whose cupcakes I really enjoyed. " Jake said as they all turned to look at him.

" what. " he asked.

" really. " Elijah said.

" yes. I really did enjoy his cupcakes, instead of water he uses blood and you should have tasted his vampire chocolate treats, Delish. " Jake said as some of the primordials shook their head at him.

" the baker is not important. The murderers are. " Vince said and when Jake opened his mouth to complain, Vince shot him a look that made Jake shut his mouth but he was still grumbling, like a child just reprimanded by his father.

" why would the witches and werewolves kill our people randomly. " Matthew asked.

" how do you know that it was randomly. " Elijah asks.

" because I studied the patterns and there is no sense to it. They just killed. " Matthew answered.

" better question is what do they gain from it. " Jessica asks.

" nothing, so they aren't the one. " Courtney said.

" of course they are the one. " Jacob snaps at Courtney and Courtney snarls at him.

" enough. " Vince tells them. " Courtney please continue. "

Courtney smiles at Vince and a tiny growl leave his mate chest and Vince soothe her feeling. " thank you. " Courtney said ignoring the growl. " the attacks are too well calculated to be werewolves doing. "

" that could be the witches part. " Matthew said.

" and it is too messy to be witches. Those are not the work of witches and werewolves. Someone wants to frame them. " Courtney continues.

" no offense Court, but you could be wrong. " Caleb said

" think about it. " Courtney said with a roll of her eyes. " why the sneak attacks if they are really the ones responsible. With the two combined, the Vampire world don't stand a chance. They just need to knock on our doors and declare an open war. "

" so you have become a strategist too not only a huntress. " Jake asked with vemons in his voice.

Courtney growled at him as her eyes went black. " don't test my patience Jacob. "

" enough, stop behaving like children. " Vince orders. " let's take a vote. If you think that the werewolves and witches are responsible, raise your hand. "

Jake and Matthew raised their hands.

" if you don't think that they are responsible hand up. " Vince said as he raised his hand. Courtney and Jessica hand was also up. Vince raised his eyebrow at the remaining two.

Caleb shared a look with Elijah then said. " we are on the fence. "

" well you need to chose a side soon. They killed my favorite baker and I want them dead. " Jake growls at Elijah who was nearer to him.

" if you are like this because of your baker I wonder what will happen when you mate and somebody look at her. " Jessica asked in a joking tone.

" you don't need to ask. The person dies. " Jake replied without a thought.

Jessica nodded " thought as much. "

" since the number of people who don't think that the witches and werewolves are responsible are more than the ones who think that they are then I would like us to do is to send for them in a meeting. " Vince said as they all turned to him.

" that is a great idea. Where " Caleb asked.

" in the neutral ground. We never had a use for it before so I suggest that we do now. " Vince said as they nods.

" okay, but we are going to kill ourselves. " Jessica pointed out.

" I know, let's hope that we get an answer before the killing start. " Vince replied.

" when will be the meeting date. " Matthew asks.

" a week for now. " Vince answered.

" they will be so pissed at the near date. " Elijah said

" true but vampires are dying, I don't want to wait too long. " Vince said.

" okay we agree. Jake send the message to them" Jessica say.

" because you are the one always with them. " Vince told him as Jake glared and teleported out of the room.

Gwen smiles at him as she whispers in his ear. " you are such a good leader. "Vince glared at her in return.
