Chapter 8: Chapter 8
Eliot appeared in front of me, his face filled with childlike wonder. Drops of clear water landed on his damp hair, cascading down in long rows to his solid square chest.
Oh, that's quite the six pack…!
When I saw with my own eyes that perfect bust like a statue, I gulped lightly, my heart both admiring and terrified. My envy was heightened by the fragile porcelain white skin and muscular body of that muscular man. What do people eat that is beneficial to everyone else? Is human blood really such a miraculous food? I felt perplexed.
"Drink it, please. I think your health has a problem, so I bought you a can of water; drink it quickly or your blood pressure will drop!"
Eliot frowned slightly and moved closer to the other person, still holding a cool coke can. My back hit the locker door as I jerked backwards. Accomplished! I know I've exhausted my options…
What should I do with this sudden surge of enthusiasm? Eliot had previously shown no interest in any male student. Perhaps he decided to approach me after the night of drinking my blood for some reason, in order to draw blood to drink again...? However, unlike Grace, my memories remain intact and undisturbed. Now that I've figured out what the guy's motivation is, why should I pretend to be dead? In short, having three faces and one word is still preferable! I'm still at school; if he becomes aggressive, I'll scream for the entire bathroom to hear, and it won't be too late to flee...
I gathered my courage, took a chance on his hand, and said:
"Don't come closer to me! We're at school, so don't act friendly."
Eliot, taken aback, placed the two cans on a nearby bench. I still had a mischievous smile on my lips, but it made me shiver. The invisible pressure from his cold gaze seemed to shrink my shoulders. Eliot took a deliberate close-up position on the cabinet door behind me. Sweat beaded on my brow, and I slyly tried to avoid that terrifying stare, but it was futile. He asked, as four eyes met:
"Why are you suddenly so irritable? What's the matter with you, dwarf mushroom? You has the audacity to be cruel to me after I've taken care of you?"
A good heart?
It's all lie!
I clenched my fists, bluntly cutting off the obvious lie:
"So… am I obligated to be nice to the person who tried to kill me?”
Eliot became immobile. He laughed awkwardly, as if he was the victim of a false rumor spread by a classmate:
"Kill...? What exactly are you saying? I don't get it!"
I shut my eyes and hissed:
"If you really want my blood, say it out loud, you two-faced!"
"..."
The surroundings were suddenly silenced. I opened my eyes nervously; Eliot was still motionless, but his blue pupils were wide, as if they were intently capturing every movement of mine. His face was filled with surprise. Eliot resumed after a few minutes, but with a rather silly question:
"You... you still remember yesterday?"
"You bit my neck and nearly killed me; how could I forget!!!"
"Impossible..."
He smirked. My chin was suddenly gripped by a large hand.
"Who the hell are you, Douglas?"
F*ck... is that the devil?
What vampire in the world would refer to an ordinary person as abnormal as this madman Eliot?! He's a jerk!
I scolded him directly in my rage:
"I'm the one who has to say that! You fool!"
"...."
"I'm just a normal guy!"
He took a step back, letting go of my chin and muttering softly:
"... It's strange..."
I clenched my teeth and yelled back:
".... You Psychopath!"
Eliot immediately gave a dangerous grin:
"Don't be arrogant. Or do you prefer to be eaten?"
Certainly not!
When I saw his negative reaction, I immediately resisted, then asked myself the big question:
"I'm kidding... But... Why did you leave me alone? And... Grace... I mistook her for—-"
Eliot appeared to be tired of wearing the mask of innocence up to this point. He responded:
"Died?"
"Um...?"
"I simply requested some blood from her."
"Are you a true vampire?"
"Correct!"
"..."
So I was correct...
Eliot Dominic, the most popular hot boy in high school Ocean Lullaby, is not an ordinary person, but a mythical creature from horror films, something I used to scoff at and didn't believe was real...
Damn it!
You are crazy!
Eliot crossed his arms over his chest, mocking me:
"At first, when I finished, I was going to leave but who knew that there was a big cat in the bushes... haha"
As if I wanted to fake a cat meowing...
"Shut up....! "
"You've got a pretty creative way of handling the situation. I have that compliment. But..."
Suddenly, he moved closer to me and whispered in my ear in a very dark voice:
"I still like your moans when I bite your neck. Very sexy!"
Cheeks flushed, I pushed him away. Then she hugged her right ear tightly and shouted like a young girl being teased by a delinquent:
"Pervert!"
He casually whistled, shrugging his shoulders.
"Turn your face in front of the mirror and then speak."
I swear by the lightbulb on the ceiling, Eliot is the most monstrous kind of thing I've ever known!
And no matter how angry I was, he kept on saying:
"When you threw trash at me, I was about to break your neck and drink all your blood... But then I realized it would be a shame to waste such a delicious drink... Remember what I said yesterday? Now, repeat after me!"
"What if I don't—-"
I was startled and about to protest when Eliot interrupted me:
"Are you going to back down? Are you sure, Sean?"
That's right! I broke my promise while he was threatening my life...
That's fantastic! It turns out that I was the one who obstructed my own escape... haha...
Knowing there was no other option, I nodded in pain:
"No... I... will do whatever you ask."
"That's right! It is now time for you to take your oath. To begin with...."
I was waiting for Eliot's first decision with bated breath. He looked thoughtful for a few seconds before happily giving a thumbs up:
"I want to drink your blood. Three times per week!"
Blood... blood?!
My face is white, as if there isn't a drop of blood left:
"...So I'm a mobile blood bag?"
"Sure as hell!"
"..."
Stop letting it go...!
"If you refuse, I can't guarantee your family and girlfriend...nothing."
He really knows how to exploit other people's weaknesses! If I say this, I'll flee to heaven! But three times a week... does that mean he won't kill me? I bit my lower lip, didn't dare to weigh the 5 liters of blood in my body against the four most important human lives, nodded firmly like a chick pecking rice, and glared at Eliot:
"Okay!!! I agree... but you must promise not to cause harm to anyone!"
"..."
"Agree?"
He satisfiedly tilted his head and smiled.
"Can you help me from now on? Douglas, my sweetheart!"
Is he having an affair with his girlfriend? However, I am a man!
"Disgusting...."
I spit out my tongue and frown in disgust. Eliot's chilly fingers touched my waist and stroked it up and down suddenly. My scalp shivered as a result of that intimate touch. Eliot arched his brows in a smug grin, the intricacy of the ocean buried in his blue eyes:
"You have a well-toned waist. So lovely"
Fingers sliding up my collarbone appeared to be incredibly deft. He must have had a lot of fun with this... My vision was obscured by those square breasts... besides, there were abs and... a tuft... the monstrous tent that protruded through the towel across his hips…
Oh, am I crazy too? Why am I still in a bad mood for this vampire?!
Am I also insane? Why am I still hating on Eliot, the vampire?!
"Even the skin is soft, despite its lack of whiteness... I forgot to ask, but are you Korean or Chinese?"
Eliot's hot breath tickled my ears as it touched them. My heart began to skip a beat.
I have to leave right now!
"I'm from Vietnam! Many thanks!"
I pushed the hoof off my chest and reached into the locker for a fresh set of clothes. Eliot is so bizarre that I just want to get away from him immediately!
"How challenging are you? Please grin at me..."
Eliot brushed my hair, and I bolted, bolting.
"No! I've returned! Now I have to work extra hours!"
"Bye!"
I grabbed my backpack, decided to run straight to the waiting room outside to change clothes out of his sight. Finished somewhere, I quickly rode my bike to leave.
