We ate at a restaurant near Clifford University outside for an hour before he finally take me home. He is waiting for me to go inside the house. The car that he used when we went to school was parked outside. It's already 2 in the afternoon.

"Thank you, Zaine." I said with a smile.

“Sure, no worries. I need to go.”

"Bye." i bid my goodbye to him. He just smiled at me. He got into the car and I waited for him until he left. I entered when I saw Lenard at the guard house and was smiling at me.

"Good afternoon," he greeted.

"Good afternoon too, Lenard." I greeted back to him. "I'll go first."

"All right, ma'am." He replied back with a grin.

My eyes immediately wandered to the suitcases at the main door when I entered our house. The things are already boxed while other vases and decorations were left here. Astonished, I looked at the housemates carrying their own belongings. Mia smiled at me who was at the far end of the sofa beside on the stairs.

It was like deja vu that it happened again. This is exactly what I found when I was at Aunt Gisselle's house. When I visited them, I got surprised that they will return to their province. My sister mentioned this morning but I was not surprised.

I approached Mia who was smiling at me. "Are you leaving now?"

Mia greeted me sadly. “Yes, maam. Someone has already bought your house. The process where already finished.”

"Is that so?"

“We have arranged your belongings. It has already been taken to the Madrigals' house.” She said that calms me down.

"Ah, thank you."

"All right, ma'am."

I left her and then went up to my own room. When I got there I found the light turned off so it was turned on. I smiled sadly when I saw that there was nothing left in that. The bed I used is made of pure white fabric and the pillows are arranged already. My belongings that on the bed side table and were also gone. It is true that the housemates have arranged and packed my things.

The speed of events. It seems like yesterday was my last step here when dad picked me up at granda Flores' house then. I got used to staying here for almost two months here at home. I felt my phone vibrated inside my pocket. I picked it up and saw my older brother calling.

"Hello, Jack?" I heard that he was on the road based on the sound of the traffic.

"Hi Sam, where are you?"

"I'm home."

"Okay wait for me, I'll fetch you." With that he immediately hang up.

I tidied up before I roamed my eyes back around the room. I will miss this room. I went down and just caught up with my older brother who was already outside. He slowly stopped the car outside the gate and looked at my direction. I went out of the house and approached him.

"Come in Jane." There is an authority on his voice. I followed and sat in the passenger seat of the car. I fastened my seatbelt before I turned around to face him.

"Where are we going Jack?"

"To the Madrigals." He shortly replied.

I felt.silent right away. They didn't even tell me about their plan. I tried to smile at my older brother and just kept quiet. We traveled quietly.

"How's work, brother?" I break the silence. He looked at me for a moment before refocusing his gaze on the road.

"Always tiring."

"The company?" I asked.

"Why are you suddenly interested about it?" He questioned.

I shook my head and manage to look in front instead "I just want to ask."

“It’s fine. The merging of both companies is already in process.” He turned to me. "I read the full contract about it."

"What's wrong brother?"

"As you get in the legal age, we will process the marriage right away." I just nodded.

"How are mom and dad?" I ask again. "Is it okay with them that I will live with Zaine?"

“They are fine with it, and we will visit you, of course. Tita Zandra just insisted that you and Zaine need to get along together. Our parents can't do anything even if they don't want the idea, because we are the ones who have needs to the Madrigals. ”

"I understand Jack," I replied.

"By the way, how's your relationship with Zaine?"

"We're friends, I must say."

“I am friends with Zaine's brother. I know you will marry a good guy. Even though you're still young, it doesn't mean we're controlling you. We just want the best for you, Sam.”

“It's quite hard to understand and confusing at first, brother. I don't know what's running through your minds. I don't even know what path are you taking me into. I was very mad at you all for controlling my life. It was even my main reason to why I escape, but now I do understand. You are doing this for I can have a good life. Am I right?”

I saw him smiled that I didn't see much of him. He only smiled once and when he did that, it brought something strange to him. He's a cold guy afterall.

"I know you will understand us." There was a smile on his lips he said. "I am proud of you, Sam."

"Thank you."

"Anyway, you like him, don't you?" He asked.

"Huh?" I immediately bit my lips.

"I am referring to Zaine, not the Watridge guy."

"What do you mean?" I asked in surprise as I felt a tremor feeling in my chest.

"I know that Waltridge likes you." My lips parted a little. How did he know? Did James told him?

"I know his moves, Jane."

I couldn't answer right away. It probably won't affect our friendship, will it?

"Why did James joined the conversation, Jack?"

“Nothing. I just want you to stay away from him.”

I just kept quiet. That will never happen again. I said goodbye to him and told him that we will stay as friends.

“He is just a friend, brother. I like someone. ”

"It's better to be Zaine."

"Why are you always favor for Zaine?"

He didn't answer right away but he changed the topic instead.

"Dad knew all along that you like Zaine Madrigal, that is why he agreed the proposal." He said that made me dumbfounded.
