Episode 24: ETHAN REVEALED HIS FEELINGS

Ethan was left in the kitchen irritated by the events because he wanted to be the only one to treat Alyssa, but he had no right, and since he already knew that their marriage was just a show and they will only separate after the end of the one year contract, so he thought what if he will confess of how he feels? So he decided to talk to his older brother about how he thought about his wife before telling her.

He walked away from the kitchen and walked upstairs because he intends to talk to his older brother.

Leonard left the room because he knew his wife was getting dressed. He didn’t want to be tempted by it again. He would never let the first mistake he made happen again because he had promised himself.

When he went downstairs, he saw his younger brother, so he stopped. His younger brother approached him with a severe face then said, “can we talk?”

He stared at his younger brother before he answered. He seemed to know already what the two of them were going to talk about, so he nodded.

His younger brother immediately walks towards the back of their house, where you can see the large pool, while Leonard was like a dog following his brother.

When they arrived at the pool, they both stopped walking. Ethan turned to him and took a deep breath. He was standing beside the wall of their house.

Leonard was a little bit impatient because he still needs to go to work, so he asked his brother first, “what are we going to talk about? Can you tell me right away?” he placed his two hands on each side of his waist. “I’m still going to work,” he added.

“I like your wife, and I need you to know that I want to pursue her.” Ethan’s direct answer.

Leonard’s eyes widened at what his younger brother had said. He couldn’t believe how brazen his brother answered to him, so he responded to him angrily, “how dare you tell me that you like my wife? Are you insane? Don’t you know that we are legally married? What will grandpa say when he finds out?”

Ethan looked at him seriously and firmly said, “you don’t like him at all, and aren’t you going to split up after the contract? Why don’t you agree?”

Leonard almost got choked by what his younger brother said to him. He did not know how to answer its question because right now, what he feels about his wife was still questionable, so he answered him vaguely, “no, I don’t allow what you want! If you want to pursue her, just do that after the contract, but for now? You wish, I will never let you!” simultaneously, left Ethan alone.

Ethan punched the wall of their house out of anger that his older brother would not consent. He felt that his older brother was so selfish.

While Leonard hurriedly walked while his hands still clenched because he was annoyed with his younger brother.

He walked straight away until he reached his room and hurriedly got dressed to go to his office. As he dressed, he could not forget what his younger brother had said.

He seemed to feel pain at what it said. He is confused. He appears to be hurt when he thinks Ethan intends to snatch his wife from him, even though Leonard doesn’t like her, but the question is. Is there nothing, or he may be slowly falling in love with his wife? So he said to himself, “no, this can’t be Leonard, you only love Elena, you promised her, ahh…!” he shouted in anger as he throws his belongings from the glass cabinet inside his walk-in closet.

I was in dazed as our instructor discussed literature. My instructor notices that I seem not listening, so my instructor called me to ask. “Miss De Guzman, can you explain what does literature means?”

I didn’t hear what my teacher said, so she called me again with a shout, “Miss De Guzman!” “yes,” I answered.

“Where is that mind playing? I’ve been calling you twice, but you didn’t answer. If you don’t like my class, you may now leave!” said my instructor angrily at the same time point the door of our classroom.

My classmate laughed at me, so I blushed.

“I’m sorry, ma’am,” I answered.

My instructor continued to discuss until the bell rang. My classmate and instructor left while I was still writing in my notebook when suddenly my phone rang, “ring, ring, ring…!’ So I quickly looked at it.

It registered the name of Ms. Belinda, so I answered it immediately. I knew it was my grandmother who called.

“Hello, Ms. Belinda,”

“Hi, Alyssa, how are you? Your grandmother is asking when are you supposed to come home here and if you’re okay?” Ms. Belinda asked me.

I remembered that I hadn’t paid her yet, so I felt worried and told her, “I’m sorry, Ms. Belin, I forgot to pay you. Don’t you worry, I’ll send you money?” I said to her.

“Oh, no, it’s okay, Al, I didn’t call for that. You’re grandmother just commanded me. She was looking for you,” she said.

“Thank you, Ms. Belin, for the understanding; please tell grandma for me that I will visit her soon,” I told her. Then the call was cut off.

I am anxious now because I forgot my obligation to pay Ms. Belin, even though she didn’t charge me; I’m ashamed if I can’t pay her next week because I promised her and another problem I have is how can I explain to my grandmother that I’m married in a way that she won’t be surprised, so I thought I thicken my face tonight.

I will ask my husband for money no matter what he thinks of me as long as the essential thing is that I can pay Ms. Belin. After all, he thinks of me as a gold digger! So why don’t I make the most of it?
