Chapter 265: Chapter 265
"Professor Liu is in the lounge, and Lu Si has gone back."
"Okay," Rong Zhi glanced at the data on the computer, saving it while taking off her protective gear. "I won’t be coming in tomorrow. Print the data from the computer and send it to them."
Lin Qiming: "Understood."
Once Rong Zhi had ensured all the data was saved, she turned off the lights and left.
The room was quiet as Rong Zhi walked in barefoot, feeling her way toward the wardrobe. She randomly grabbed some clothes and went into the bathroom.
After showering and putting on clothes, she realized she hadn’t taken any undergarments and was wearing an excessively loose shirt.
Just from looking, she knew whose it was.
Thinking it was dark outside, she simply walked out without caring.
The bed was warm, and with RH Group’s preparations nearly finished on their end, the annual meeting had been canceled due to leadership changes this year, removing a hassle. Bai Su should be free before New Year’s.
By then, it would be time to book tickets to fly to O State. Rong Jiazze had planned with Yan Qique, and after the New Year, the kid would go back with them to Four Directions County. Read full story at N0v3l.Fiɾe.net
Rong Zhi thought about it as she lay down on the bed, covering herself with a blanket. The next moment, a warm body wrapped around her. She adjusted herself to sleep more comfortably and started pondering plans for O State.
Weariness overtook her, and as she lay on this bed, it went from unfamiliar to being filled with a familiar scent, and she quickly fell into a deep sleep.
She slept past three and only woke up around lunchtime.
The curtains in the room had been changed again, now using pure black ones that effectively blocked out the glaring sunlight.
She pressed her temples and slowly sat up as the blanket slipped off. The room door opened, and a familiar scene unfolded again. Rong Zhi had become quite accustomed to it and turned her head.
The sight of spring filled her eyes. Bai Su smirked but remained standing by the door without entering, saying softly, "Take your time; there’s no rush with Lu Si and the others being looked after."
Even though the appointment with Lu Si and Chi Cha was at one in the afternoon, the two arrived early. Bai Su saw Rong Zhi sleeping deeply and didn’t disturb her, opting to teach the two brats himself.
After all, it was just high school math, which Young Master Bai could handle.
And as for Lu Si? The materials were laid out for him to study on his own.
Young Master Bai was currently busy learning medicine, and had no plans to dabble in mechanics for the time being.
Rong Zhi let out a muffled sound from her throat, and Bai Su, noticing, helped pull open the inner layer of the curtain for her.
The gentle sunlight flooded the room, casting light on her smooth, porcelain-white skin, rendering it almost translucent.
It was Chi Cha’s first time at her crush’s house, and she was immensely nervous. She had wondered what kind of place her crush lived in prior to arriving; yet, witnessing it in person left her in awe.
No wonder it’s my crush; the living place is just too classy.
When the tall and fit man descended from the upstairs, she was even more stunned, unable to close her jaw.
Oh my, is my crush living with the rumored boyfriend?!
Chi Cha was shocked and left feeling melancholic.
She felt like crying, but after being forced to ship the couple, she couldn’t cry anymore.
Later, the rumored boyfriend was going to tutor her, and Chi Cha quickly snapped out of the heavy blow of her crush losing his virginity and concentrated on the lesson.
But Bai Su taught too fast. He had no talent for being a teacher, explaining only the parts he could understand and then expecting Chi Cha to comprehend the rest on her own.
Chi Cha’s note-taking was swift, and by the time the man’s deep, rich voice faded, she still only half-understood.
When it was Rong Zhi’s turn for the afternoon tutoring, she didn’t say much and started taking notes.
Beside her, Lu Si directly took out a test paper and began writing. Chi Cha, upon seeing this, blinked in confusion and asked, "Aren’t we supposed to be talking about knowledge points?"
"Teacher Rong prefers a targeted approach when teaching."
This was a habit Lu Si picked up by staying around Rong Zhi. Rong Zhi would set standards based on the student’s condition and explain things succinctly, trying to make students thoroughly grasp the questions in the simplest way.
Chi Cha responded with a couple of ’oh’s and attempted to hand a past math competition test paper to the teenager. "Rong Zhi, this is my previous paper. Can you help me revise it?"
Rong Zhi was dressed casually in white, with her sleeves loosely rolled halfway up, revealing her slender, snow-like wrists. Her ink-black hair fell across, partially covering her delicate profile, leaving only the smooth lines of her nape visible.
Chi Cha suddenly realized, Rong Zhi’s hair seemed much longer than at the beginning of the school year, and her feminine traits were becoming more pronounced.
If not for the aura she exuded, people would certainly see her as a girl.
Rong Zhi took the test paper Chi Cha handed over and sat in a chair, one leg slightly bent and the other casually outstretched on the ground. She looked down to mark the paper, her expression slightly fatigued yet calm, her fox-like eyes shrouded in a gentle haze, delicate and beautiful.
Chi Cha couldn’t help herself and her gaze was glued to the teenager’s face, switching into ’admiring the crush’ mode.
Rong Zhi glanced sideways at her, waved a hand in front of her eyes, and unhurriedly said, "Snap out of it."
She instinctively touched her chin, relieved when she didn’t find any drool.
That was close, she thought she was drooling.
Seeing this, Rong Zhi raised her delicate eyebrows, turned on the electronic board, and searched for the paper, tapping the screen to signal Chi Cha to pay attention.
She organized all the crucial difficult problems and then analyzed them bit by bit based on Chi Cha’s situation.
At first, Chi Cha was still enamored with looks, but she gradually became absorbed in the math problems.
Rong Zhi’s speed at explaining questions was no slower than Bai Su’s, yet it was extremely precise and easy to understand. Under her explanation, Chi Cha quickly grasped the points she previously couldn’t comprehend.
The study session flew by, and Rong Zhi picked up a thermos at her side, taking a sip to moisten her throat, and gently said to Chi Cha: "Do another paper, and if you don’t understand, ask me."
The tense string in Chi Cha’s mind suddenly loosened upon hearing this, and she exhaled a deep breath, nodding: "Okay, okay!"
As she worked on another math competition test paper, Rong Zhi began tutoring Lu Si.
In the evening, after Chi Cha and Lu Si had dinner at the villa, Rong Zhi walked them to the door, standing casually at the entrance with her hands in her pockets, her chin slightly lifted as she spoke nonchalantly: "If you don’t do well, don’t say I taught you."
Chi Cha and Lu Si: "..."
Suddenly, the pressure was immense.
Bai Su came from behind and wrapped the teenager in his arms, looking at them without expression before turning around and closing the door behind him.
Outside, the two were again: "..."
Bai Su didn’t bother with what those two thought and picked up Rong Zhi, heading inside the room.
The room wasn’t lit, and during the dusk, the warm sunset shades added layer upon layer of warmth, softly blurring the man’s already striking features. His peach blossom eyes carried a gentle smile.
He kissed the top of Rong Zhi’s head, the soothing scent of wood and sandalwood on her made Bai Su feel an indescribable satisfaction.
With his gaze downcast, his eyes swept over the slightly open collar of the teenager’s shirt, the delicate and smooth skin of her shoulder’s nook shimmering faintly.
He reached out, gently pinched her cheek, laughing softly as he pulled it aside.
Her fox-like eyes widened adorably in confusion.
"A gift for you," Bai Su’s lips curved more deeply as he ruffled her face, then he firmly drew her into his embrace, his voice low and husky, carrying a hint of danger yet exceedingly charming.
"Before I give it, let me take some interest first."
