Chapter 352: Chapter 352
"Huh what?" Koa Jackson raised an eyebrow and said, "They’ve helped you twice. You should show some appreciation."
Mia Ginger nodded and sent Windsor Myres a text message.
They agreed to meet at the school gate in a while. The latest_epɪ_sodes are on_the 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵·𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖·𝙣𝙚𝙩
At eleven thirty, Windsor Myres and Camden River came out together and waited at the school gate.
Koa Jackson drove over. From a distance, Mia saw the two of them, so she let them get in the car. The four of them headed to a special restaurant not far from the school.
It only took a few minutes to get there.
Koa Jackson went to park the car, while Mia and the other two went inside first.
Windsor Myres reached out and touched her forehead, smiling as she said, "Looks like you’re okay now. You really scared us when you had that fever."
"I’m a bit sensitive physically." Mia Ginger smiled faintly, "Thank you, for helping me again."
She had a very cheerful and relaxed smile on her face. Windsor Myres looked at her for a few seconds and teased, "Looks like everything’s fine now. I deserve credit for my cleverness."
"Absolutely," Mia Ginger praised without reservation.
Camden River, seeing them complimenting each other jokingly, just felt resigned and said to the waiter at the door, "Table for four, please. Could we have a quiet spot by the window?"
The waiter led the three of them over, and just as the tea was being served, Koa Jackson arrived.
The temperature inside was high. He sat down, raised his hand to undo the button on his blazer, turned the menu with two fingers, and pushed it towards Camden River and Windsor Myres, smiling, "What would you like to eat?"
"Then I won’t be polite." Windsor Myres smiled openly, without any pretense.
"Okay." Koa Jackson responded, raised his hand to call the waiter, and politely said, "Could you bring us a glass of plain water, please?"
The waiter soon brought the glass of water. He touched the rim of the glass with his hand and set it aside, saying to Mia Ginger, "Since you’ve just recovered, avoid drinks and have more plain water, even when you return to the dorm, okay?"
"I remember." Mia Ginger smiled with a curve of her lips.
Koa Jackson ruffled her hair. Once Windsor Myres and Camden River ordered, he added two mild dishes and asked the waiter to place the order.
The four of them started chatting.
Mostly it was Windsor Myres and Mia Ginger talking.
After they chatted for a while, the waiter brought the dishes.
Koa Jackson picked up his teacup and toasted the two of them, smiling, "Thank you for taking care of this girl."
Windsor Myres and Camden River smiled in return.
Koa Jackson then said to Windsor Myres, "Are you in the same dorm as Mia Ginger? She’s quite casual usually and doesn’t know how to take care of herself well. She can be a bit stubborn. Please be more tolerant of anything inappropriate, and get along well."
"Uh." Windsor Myres winked at Mia Ginger.
Mia Ginger gently kicked her under the table, also making a face.
Windsor Myres naturally knew she was nervous, smiled slightly, and directly said, "Dr. Jackson, you’re too modest. Mia is great. She’s both class president and dorm head. It’s not just the teachers and classmates who like her; even our military training instructor absolutely loves her. Out of the whole platoon, she was one of just three excellent cadets, and she was the top one."
Koa Jackson was slightly taken aback, subtly glancing at Mia Ginger.
Class president? Dorm head?
Even the military training instructor really liked her?
Mia Ginger looked at Windsor Myres, feeling speechless, her expression changed.
Her eyes clearly expressing "Why’d you say that?" in frustration.
Windsor Myres raised her eyebrows at her, giving her a knowing look.
