Chloe Montclair

"Hi girls!" My friends walked into my house whilst my sister and I with Janet were all sitting and having fun with my niece I'm my arm.

"What took you guys so long?" I asked staring at them.

"It was Tiana, she took time in selecting the baby's cloth." Margret hissed.

"No one accuse my best friend" Janet, my sister said supporting Tiana.

"I hate you Tiana. I can't believe you steal my best friend from me" Janet, Ken's sister pout making everyone of us burst out laughing.

"I volunteered to be your new best friend" Rose said.

"Me too" Sophia chimed in.

"Me three" I raised my hand smiling

"Not me four" Margret stick out her tongue at them and rolled her eyes. I'm so happy witnessing a day as this. My life has never been this lively not until I met all of them. They all make it colorful and I love them so much.

It might still be early but, what I feel for them was real. They're like a sister.. no, they're my SISTER.

"Janet, we need to go somewhere.. get dress by 5 pm" I face my sister as I said that.

"What's going on?" Margret asked.

"What's that?" Sophia chime in.

"A surprise, surprise?" Tiana wink. Despite my closeness with everyone, only Tiana knew me too well. She was the only person who knows, what I intend to do at that moment, and it has to do with Seb.

"It's a surprise girls and I'm sure, y'all are going to like it." I announced and they keep bothering me bugging me to tell them which I insist on not.  "Girls! Shuush, y'all are going to wake the Bella up" I whispered.

"So, let's see what y'all got for our dear Bella." I stated.

Later in the day, Ken came to pick Janet and I up and went straight to the prison. While we arrive there, my sister looked at me, shocked. She had no idea of what's going on.

"Chloe, what are we doing here?"

"To see your husband, of course! Look, I know it has been hard for you for the past weeks but, I have forgiven him. I'm, also ready to allow him take over the company. Now, the grudges are all gone and replaced with love so... Let's forget about the past and create a better, brighter and happy future. Besides, I've been planning on launching a new company with the help of Ken though." I said and she took me off guard as she engulf me in a tight hug.

"Gosh! I love you so much sister and I'm so sorry for all I've done to you in the past." She thanked and apologize at the same time.

Four Months Later

I just came back from work and was extremely tired. All I wanted to do right now is to sleep. I asked after my friends, Tiana and Janet but, Stanley told me they're not yet back.

Before I could walk over to my room, my phone started to ring. I hissed before picking up without looking at the caller ID. "Chloe!" I heard Ken's weary voice.

I was alarmed. "Ken, what's going on? Why do you sound this way?" I asked in a worried voice.

"Chloe, it's.. it's Janet. I don't know what's wrong with her."

"What?! What do you mean? Where are you now? I'm coming over there. What happened to her? Is she fine? Is she feeling any pains?" I bombard him with questions.

"I think, you should come. We're at Ken's place."

"What?! Why there?" I questioned him as I rushed out of the house and got into my car.

"There's no time. Just come, fast!" He hang up the call before I could say a word. I tried calling him but he wasn't picking up.

"Seb! Seb, where ar-" I barged into Ken's house only to be greeted by numerous pairs of eyes staring at me.

"What's going on here?." I asked confused. There stood my sister who was allegedly reported to be in danger with her husband right beside her grinning like they had both won a lottery. Ken's entire family including Joshua and his wife, mom, my friends and their husbands, Nanny and... Ken himself.

He walk slowly towards me and smiled. "Hey beautiful." He said.

"Ken, what's going on here?." I asked, confused. The look on their is weird.

"You have no idea of how much I love you Chloe Montclair and, it's getting deeper every day. I get jealous whenever you put on a tight dress or made your hair in a ponytail but, I didn't show it because I know you belong to me alone. I think, saying I love you is not enough, I want more than that Chloe. Getting up with you every morning, eating food with you, having an ordinary date with you not trying to impress you because I'm rich, but want a simple outing with you, laughing about stupid things that I do, and just everything that involves you.

Shit! I love you so much Chloe, I just can't stop saying that! You're my life and I don't think, there would be a day that I will be able to function without you." He said and I was crying already. He wipe off the tears on my face and I smiled innocently at him.

"Hey!" I called breathlessly and he gave me his sweetest smile.

"Marry me, Chloe". He said out of the blue and that made my eyes widen in shock.

"Marry me, Chloe Montclair, let's be a family once and for all, let's build a big beautiful family together. Be my everything and forever love, let's have cute kids running around the house, the little  Ken and little Chloe." He smiled and close the gap between us, he pulled my chin to make my eyes look straight into his.

"Marry me beautiful... Because, you're mine and, I don't think I will be able to do this again without you".  He said.

What?! He... he's proposing right now? He just proposed to me? He wants me to be his wife?

I looked at his eyes and saw nothing but sincerity in it. Though, there's a slight anxiety in them but deep inside his eye, there was a glistening of hope, and then, I've got no reason to turn him down. I've always wanted this.

"Of course, yes Ken.  I will marry you".  I whispered to his right ear and his face lit up as he smiled widely at me. Everyone also cheered up for us.

He took a step from me and bring out a small dark red box in his pocket. He opened it and revealed a very beautiful diamond ring while he insert it in my finger.  "From now on, you Chloe Montclair is my real fiance, my future beautiful wife and we are going to have our wedding in a month". He announced with full authority laced on his tone while he slip the beautiful ring on my finger.

Everyone in the room cheered for us and we celebrated it together as they all keep congratulating me one after the other with a gift. Ken's mom stood in front of me and hug me tightly. "Thank you so much for loving my son. You have no idea of what you've done for this family. To be sincere with you, this is the first time I've seen a real happiness on my son's face and I'm glad, you're the reason for this happiness of his. Please, keep being beside him and never leave him"

"I promise mom, I will always do that" I said and she nod her head.

"I'm sorry for what I did to you in the past"

"Mom, come on.. it's now in the past. Right now, we should be happy and forget about our past." She hug me again as I said that and instantly saw Joshua's wife trying to lurk around my man again.

I facepalm myself.

Can she ever change? I don't think so.

Seven years later, my family was blessed with three kids. My husband, including my 6 years old twins (Aaron and Andrew) and their little sister (Andrea), who's going to turn 4 next week.

Aaron  and Andrea are both little replica of their father while Andrew is just exactly as me. I love my family so much and, I'm so happy that... I'm starting another journey with them.
