"Where are you?." I asked her immediately she picked up her call.

"What's with you asking where i am? You keep me waiting all night yesterday just so I could deliver a message to you as yet, There was no any sign of you. The flash asked to be given to you is still me though, hope you know that?."

If there's anything about this girl is her boldness. Despite knowing the kind of person that I'm yet, she's never scared of me. She knows I can destroy her with a little snap finger of mine but yet, she talk back at me with all boldness in her.

"Woman, just answer the damn question and stop nagging." I hissed angrily. She's the only one who comes to my mind to just to calm myself down and now, she's annoying me.

"Where would I be if not home, of course... I'm in my room. You refused to let me out and even asked your guard not to allow me-"

"I'll be right there in 20 minutes." I cut her off and tried to leave but, the next call on my phone stopped me.

It's Drew.

"What's it?.".

"Ken, we have a problem. I organized a board meeting already. Just attend the meeting now, it's important."

"What's going on?."

"You'll find out during the meeting. I'll explain the rest to you after that..  okay, I'm hanging up now." He said.

"This had better be something serious else, you're so dead Andrew Censatio."  I hissed as I threatened him.

"You're going to thank me later for this." He said and hang up the call before I could say anything.

I walked into the boardroom with others sitting down already waiting for me. Once I entered, everyone of them stood up and greeted me. I looked at them and sit telling everyone to also sit down. At that moment, no one spoke instead, I opened the file in front of me and give the order to start the presentation.

"The objective of our new goal will be to sell bags and shoes at a lower price, so that our customer-" I cut him off.

"What are you trying to tell me? you want to lower my companies profit?" I asked as I  roll my eyes and went through the file.

"Erm sir, I'm not saying that-"

"This company was build of quality, just think of another way, If you don't have better way by Monday at morning, you'll be fired" I said and the room suddenly became quiet.

"But...but can I continue with what I was saying? " he asked but I stood up and leave the room. My assistant followed and walk out with me.

I walked back into my office. "This company has grown stronger to even pose as a threat to us, I can't believe this....for how long had this been happening?". I asked my assistant Azeena.

I can't believe that low life is trying his best now to compete with me.

Sebastian Diego!! I will make you pay for this you bastard!!!

"Sir, just so to create a cooperation between the two companies, I tried to set a meeting with one of the co worker in the company, but all in avail"

"Martha, you're trying to tell me that you've find a way but you didn't bother to inform me about it,is that what you're trying to imply? And why has our sales decrease to 30% because according to the file I'm seeing, that's what is stated in it".

"Actually sir....that was not actually the problem, well...you see, then, when your father was still the CEO of this particular company, a friend of his Mr Johnson took loan of about $400 million".

"What?!  You mean, someone still owes us that huge amount of money?  And still haven't returned the money yet? .... Martha, make sure to find out more about this ASAP" I stated firmly.

"Right away sir" she said walking out.

I don't know why all these are happening now at the same time. First, it's my family pestering me, been on my neck to get married and now, Becca who has showed up trying to get back into my life... That isn't enough, Chloe is creeping into my head these days and I don't know why that's happening to me.

Trying to keep my personal problem aside, I decide to focus on the main issue in my company. I need to deal with that man and I need to put things in order or the company might just loose a lot of money.

"Please sir, forgive me. I did it all for the betterment of this company." Mr Daniel begged as he kneel on the floor with both of his hands together.

"Who exactly am I Mr Dan?." I purposely asked him.

"You're Mr Kenneth Domanco, the CEO and the president of this company."

"And you, who are you in this company? "

"I...I'm just a foreign affairs manager"

"Good" I told him before I stood up from where I leaned on my table in my office

"You Mr Daniel knew all if that but yet, you went ahead and planned a meeting with out my consent" I told him as I walk around him

It was only I, my assistant and two security guards that was in here.

"How much did Goodswill enterprises pays you to salvaged everything?" I asked him as I stood up in front of him with my hands in my pocket

"I...I ...no.. nothing sir."

"Do you actually know that I can throw you to jail for all you've done?"

"Please sir...please don't do that sir...I...I collected $10 million." he finally confessed in tears

I squat in front of him

"If there's anything Mr Daniel that I hate most in this world...that's betrayal...Mr Daniel...you've betrayed me and you must be punished...instead of throwing you in jail, I've decided to throw you out of my company without a dime from me...after all, you've taken enough from my enemies...take him away" I ordered the security guards as I got up and arrange my black suit well on my body.

He wept as he held my leg "please sir,please sir have mercy..  I have a wife and children to support. They won't be able to take in all that has happened and...and how will I face them? Please sir forgive me"

"Take him away " I ordered the guards as I tried to draw my leg away from him. They struggle but finally caught hold of him

"Please forgive me sir,please have mercy.." He kept pleading as the guards drag him away and out of my office

What a nuisance! How dare him?! That means he has been giving out information all this while

"Martha."

"Yes, sir."

"How much information was in his hands?"

"Not quite much sir....were still safe."

"Safe?!" I asked her as my voice rose.

"How can you stand there and say we're safe? The information Goodswill enterprises has in their hands, no matter how small it's,its enough to pull over us.. Get me all the projects he handled and set up another meeting with the Korean investors for tomorrow.. You're dismissed " I told her before she finally left.

I sat down on my seat and buried my head in my palms. I had so much to deal with.

All of a sudden the image of Chloe's face flashed back in my mind. I can't believe I'm thinking about her at this crucial moment.

I remembered the look on her face when I took her out to see that bastard and her sister. She look so down and sad.

Why do I care about her? Of course, I do not care what she does or not. She means nothing to me. She's just an ordinary girl I helped and needed her service badly .

Time went on so fast and its now 6:38pm in the evening.

I heard a knock on my door. "Come in" I said.

My personal assistant walk in again.  " I'm sorry to disturb you sir,  but you have a very important place you must attend to now. The president of Yenoc enterprises would love to schedule tomorrow's lunch meeting to this evening. Since, you're free.., I decided to grant their request and set a meeting between you two." She explained.

"Okay, please get the driver and the car ready." she answered with a nod and left. When I was through with what I was doing, I left to change into something suitable.
