Chloe Montclair

"Of course! Of course, I was so happy when she told me about it. I just heard it from her minutes ago... You don't know how happy I am to hear this news. I can't belie-"

"Tiana!! She's still talking." I pinched her a little bit just to make her keep her mouth shut. This girl won't just stop talking. She blabber too much.

"Was I? Sorry." She said and smiled.

"It's fine, ladies. We're all one now and, we should be free with each other. So, as I was saying... You two are so lucky, especially you Chloe. You know, I don't know what Mr. Domanco sees.. do not get me wrong please. I'm not saying you're not good enough for him or something but, it's strange for him to choose the woman he's going to spend the rest of his life with from here. I was shocked when he asked about you from me and told me he would like to make you his wife. I was so shocked." She said.

I see, I guess, she doesn't even know yet that all these was nothing but fake. She thought, he liked me?

Christiana and I looked at each other's face and smiled a little bit. She gave me the look of; 'this woman has no idea of what's going on yet'

"I will love to congratulate you two once again and truth be told, I'm going to miss you both."

"We will miss you too. I promise, I will come once in a while to check up on y'all."

"Is that a promise."

"Definitely!"

"Alright then. So, you can sign up here... A minute please." She get some papers same as the ones she gave me days back and showed her where to sign. Once she's done, we got up and leave her office to our room.

"Chloe, you told me you have something important you would like to talk to me about so, what's it?." She asked as she took a sit beside me on my bed.

I look at her happy face and couldn't bring myself to say this to her. I've known Tiana so well, she might be talkative, supportive and understanding but when it comes to her personal issues, she's not the usual Tiana we all know. She's always different.

How do I break this down to her? How do I tell her it was her same uncle who killed her father, killed her mom too. Her mom mean so much to her even though, she didn't grow much time and bond with her father but her mom, she lived all her life with before she died.

She will be so devasted when I tell her this. I think, it will be best only if I keep my mouth shut and never said anything to her. It's better, I fight for her without her knowledge. I'm going to make her uncle pay for what he's done to her and take back all that rightfully belongs to her.

""Chloe! I'm still talking to you. You haven't said a word yet."

"Erm, I.. I'm... I'm thirsty, can you help me with a glass of water?." I fake a cough and she hurriedly got up to get me a glass of water.

"What do I do? How do I help her out? She's been my backbone all these years, now is the right time to pay her back for all of her good deeds.

She came back, offered me the water. I finished drinking and lied to her that I'm weak and I need to rest. I'm glad she fell for my trick and leave me all alone to have a peaceful nap.

Throughout the night, I couldn't sleep. I was too overwhelmed and sad at the same time. Three years back, I was brought into this horrible place and now, I'm leaving this same horrible place. I went through a lot... I can't believe everything was planned by my sister. All my life, all I've ever had for her was love and to protect her but instead, she chooses to do this to me.

Tears welled up my eyes. My own sister betrayed me with the man I fell in love with. I had made a promise to myself not to think about her but only to seek revenge from them but, remembering the fact that she's my blood is making me think otherwise.

Does she even feel remorseful of what she did to me? Does she really want me dead? Didn't I mean anything to her? Did she truly hate me that much when, all I've ever done was to show her nothing but love.

Mom, Dad, you two are watching right? You knew, I tried my best, I really tried to make things right but... It was all Janet's plan all along. She was so jealous of me that she forgot the family bond. She betrayed what we had and now, is my time to act on it. You won't hate me for it, right?

You'll believe, I'm doing the right thing by what I intend to do, right?

Mom, I really missed you. And I hope, you'll forgive me for all the sins I've done towards you. I should have listened to you when you told me you never liked him.

Yes, my mom never liked Sebastian but, she had to put up with him because of me. She told me, she will only support me being with him since, he was the man I choose to spend the rest of my life with. I made a big mistake by not listening to my mom. Maybe, if I had, all these that happened wouldn't have.

I trusted him so much and yet, he betrayed me. No, I wasn't betrayed... The truth is, I was fooled by him. He and Janet fooled me.

I brought out the pictures Ken brought to me days back and looked at them. They both look so perfect and happy. The smile on his face, the happiness written on it when he looks at her was so different than when I was with me.

How comes, I never realized any of this. He would look straight into my eyes, tell me he loves me so much and yet, I couldn't notice the lie in it. I couldn't control my anger anymore, I tore all the pictures at once and going them round the room.

No! No, this can't be! I can't be used like this. They need to pay for what they've done to me. This pain in me, Sebastian needs to pay for it!- I thought and cried myself to sleep.
