ELLE P.O.V

"What do you mean you need a new apartment, Lucas asked me.

How long have you been standing there? i asked him because i don't want him to know i quit my job at the club.

When Jessica complement me.

"Oh okay". I want to look for a new apartment for me and the kids.

For what?. Because we can't go back to our old apartment due to the fire outbreak. And the Landlord call me this morning saying they are renovating the apartment.

He slowly walk over to the couch and sat down, don't you feel comfortable staying here he asked.

That not what i mean Lucas, then explain yourself. You know i can't stay here, who said you can't stay here. I have a lot of rooms here that you can stay in, you can even bring Jessica too.

What wrong with you staying here with the kids huh!. " Fine! if you want to leave you can leave but my kids are not going anywhere with you again.

"Please Lucas don't make things too difficult for me right now.

You know i can't live without my children, that why I'm saying you should stay here with them. I'm their father, i have very right to let them stay here with me. They have the right over my property and this mansion belongs to them.

So they stays here, okay i will think about it, i said. You better stop thinking about it Elle, he stood up and about to leave. And i hope you stop that your stupid job, because I'm not going to allowed you to go to that stupid club when living in my house.

For God sake Elle, what do you see in that job. I smile and look at him, I'm not rich like you Lucas. That what i do for a living, he walk towards me and stood in front of me. "Elle! Elle! try me by going to that your stupid job and see.

I smile and said, what can you do Lucas. I'm not afraid of you, "oh baby, that your smart mouth will lead you into trouble one day. I'm warning you for the last time, he said. And for your information Mr Lucas, I'm no more a worker there.

I quit yesterday, "What! he said." You heard me Mr Lucas, i said i quit. I wanted to see how he will react, when i tell him i quit. Do you mean what you said Elle, i don't believe you. Then believe whatever you want, i said and left him there and went upstairs.

LUCAS P.O.V

Did i heard her right, she quit her job. Unbelievable, No i can't believe her. But did she really quit or she was joking with me. Gosh! i'm confused right now.

I walk to my room, stripped down and walk to the bathroom. I came out from the shower and pulled a towel around my waist walking to my closest and put on a boxer and a t-shirt. I walk back to the bedroom.

I decided to check on the kids, i open their door slowly not to wake them up. Elle was in there arranging their things, i walk to their crib. I caresses their cheeks and kiss their forehead carefully not to wake them up.

I turned to leave, when i heard Elle calling my name. I pretend i did not hear her, "Lucas!!. I quickly walk to my bedroom. I don't have time for her, she can go on and be a stripper i don't give a fuck about her.

My children are more important then anything on earth, i know i still can't for get how i feel about her the day i saw her naked. " Fuck! everything about her has changed me.

I need her badly in my bed, i will mark her mine when the right time comes. I remove my T-shirt and throw it on the couch leaving my boxer on. I lay on my bed, when i heard a knock on the door, i stood up and went and open the door.

There she stood, "what can i do for you Elle", um..... can i come in she said. I open the door wide for her to enter, "umm..... can you please put on a shirt she said. "No!, this is my room, i can do whatever i want i said.

"Oh! have you not see a man in his boxers before, or are you afraid that i may have sex with you. She shook her head no, then what. She was wearing a over size T-shirt down to her knees.

You can sit down i said, she sat down and cross her leg. "I came here to apologized to you what happen yesterday, don't apologized to me Elle. But apologized to your kids, thanks to your stars nothing happen to them.

I don't know if you really love your kids i said.

I love and care for my kids Lucas.

Then show them Elle. Show them the good mother you are to them, i respect your job, but i think that you have forgotten that you are now a mother for Christ sake.

You must put your children first in whatever you do in life, whether it will affect them or not. I know you said you quit, but i don't believe you Elle. You must put a stop to it and find a better job to do.

You can start your own business or do what so ever you want to do. I will support you because you are my children's mother, to be honest with you I'm really pissed with you Elle. You are lucky that you are a woman, if not i will really punched your face very hard.

I said raising my voice, i almost lost them. While you were enjoying yourself they were fighting for their life's.

Please control yourself if not you will wake them up she said.

I know am a bad mother because of my job, but this same job help me to survive in this world. Now i will have all the time for my children, now that i have quit my job she said.

Um.... are you sure you really quit your job, she nod her head. "Why, i asked her. Jessica and i decided to stop, because of the kids. Good decision i said.

I stood up and went over to her and knelt before her holding her two hands. Are you sure of what you are saying, she nodded her head. Good to hear i said.
