Everyone's attention was sawed to the emergency room, aunt couldn't believe her eyes that her niece was shot and was at the emergency room fighting for her life.

An hour later, the doctor walked out of the room, "excuse me" he says as he rushed him trying to get notifications as to what happened.

"Yes, Doctor!! Is my wife going to be okay?" I said donning a curious look on.

"Yes Mr. Darren but unfortunately, she lost a lot of blood, what Mrs. Karol needs now is a blood transfusion".

Aunt beers into the conversation and gives her blood to save her niece, and so did every one of us.

One after the other, we all went to get the test done and non of them, were a match to her, I got a chance to check mine and suprised, our blood was of a match, Immediately, they took my blood and rushed into the emergency room.

I watched through the window and saw how they transferred my blood into her, my heart was racing out of its place, and after a few hours, the doctor returned and gave the news we were dying to hear.

"Congratulation everyone!! She's finally out of danger". He says to us.

A cloud of relief hovered around me, thankfully nothing happened to her and if by chance it did, I wouldn't have forgiven myself.

"Can I see her!! Please doctor". I asked.

"Yes please," he answered back, as I slowly moved into her ward and caught her lying on the bed.

Her eyes slowly unlock, as she gains notoriety from me, "who are you". Karol asked the weirdest question.

"What do you mean? It's me, Darren? Don't you remember me?". I asked, thus he jerked her head in disapproval.

"No!! I am sorry, I don't remember you, perhaps you work for my parents?".  She airs out once again.

It made no sense to me, her words were so dried and the gaze was as if, we have never met before, what exactly is going on?" I asked myself as I ran out to meet the doctor.

"Hello, doctor? Please there's something wrong with my wife?". I dragged him not the room, followed by everyone, who stood at the side at watched the doctor run checks on her.

The doctor veers his head and said, "I don't know what to say but to what I can gain, I believe, Karol suffers from amnesia, she doesn't recall anything about her past".

(Stunned demeanor drops to the floor)

"Really? I lost my wife and please tell me, what happens now? How am I going to get her to remember?". I said in a stunned demeanor.

"I don't Know, Mr. Drew but I believe with time, Mrs. Karol will regain consciousness".

(Unfrozen and left the room)

Dad pulls me for a warm hug and said, "it's okay!! Karol will be fine, you just need to calm down and let destiny take its course".

I got angered and asserted in a high tone, "really! Destiny, why on earth will something like this happen to me? Why will I get to lose the woman I love".

Without thinking I said and watched the confused look on her face.

"Karol!! Please try to remember, who you are? I am begging you? Please? Don't forget everything we have passed through please".

Every word I said, passed one ear and drops out from the other.

Dad dragged me back and nudge me out of the room, "what is wrong with you?" He says to me.

"What do you mean dad?" I don't understand?" I asked as he continues talking.

"What don't you understand? Please son, don't try to force her to remember you, and please don't make any stupid mistake".

(He frowns and walked back into the ward)

What can I say? Did I just lose the woman I love? Did I alter a word out of anger and got what I wanted?. Is Karol ever going to recall her past life and when will that happen?.
