He smiles devilishly and asked the weirdest question, "what do you mean? Or perhaps you thought it was Darren who called you?".

I donned mine and drove down the same road he wants me to, "aww!! Perhaps I did think he was the one, but tell me, what exactly do you need and why to call me here?.

Uncle Kevin saw I urged for his response, so he proceeds to talk, "you really wanna no? I'll tell you but promise me, that you're not going to tell anyone about it or else I'll tell everyone about your hidden secret".

(Frowned) "excuse me? What are you talking about?". I asked denoting the weird demeanor he drops to the floor.

"Do you not know anything but I have been keeping an eye on you, miss Karol, or better yet, Jackie".

Immediately my legs stopped working after heeding to his words, does this mean, my secret has been found out?". I loomed my eyes trying to figure out my words.

He confirms, more of his words to me, I quote, "don't look so shocked sweetheart, and before you think of living your way through this, just know that your aunt, is in my custody and a little mistake of yours, can end her life".

"Whaaat". I said surprised by his words, move a step closer, and held him by his shirt, "don't you dare, because I will kill you if anything happens to my aunt".

My words seem not to be of any effect on him, he jiggled his head and dragged me away.

"Seriously!!! Are you sure, threatening me will get your aunt back to safety?". (Waits for my response)

I donated after a few minutes, "what exactly do you want?" I said to him.

Kits up his face and yelled out as he has just won a lottery, "oh my goodness!!! That's what I am dying to hear". Uncle Kevin smiles at me.

In a few headcount, he concedes with his words to me, "there's one thing I need from you!! Firstly, I need you to listen attentively and secondly, make sure that no one hears about this, thirdly, the main reason I called is for you to do something for me".

"What," I asked in a cold stare.

He says, maintaining the same look, "I want you to, kill Darren drew for me and yes!! I do know what I am doing".

(Thunderstorm goes off)

"Wait!! What!! Are you mad, how can I kill Darren, uncle Kevin you must be a journalist".  I said.

"Yes, I am mad, and don't you dare start okay!!! I want you to kill Darren and as a good partner I am, I will also help you take down my brother, I know you want me dead, right". He airs out to me once again, indeed I was just caught between a rock and hard place, how on earth will I kill, someone who has not only done everything to keep the end of our bargain, he also been a good friend.

(Inaudible conversation, hours paddles away)

I got back to the hotel, paused for while, and recalled the words of uncle Kevin, he says and I quote, "the hotel will be hosting a  masquerade ball, and the second, you get a chance, inject Darren with the poison given to you".

(The poison was placed in my pocket).

"Hello miss danger, what's wrong with you?". Darren's snapped me back to my senses.

"Oops!! Sorry Darren," I hid the fact that his uncle wanted him dead, minus we aimed at the same thing, I never used Darren for any of it.
