Chapter 36: Chapter 36

gasped out donning a scared look on my face; what the hell is going on and why such a dream?. What's going to happen?" I asked myself veering my gaze upon Darren and saw him sleeping soundly next to me.

It drifts to the following morning- I got up from bed after getting dressed, I walked downstairs and immediately saw Tori standing at the front door, with her suitcase in her hand.

"Why is she here?" I asked and walked further, and gained her attention, "hello sister" she frowns and iddls to hear me speak.

"Hello Tori!! Why are you here and what are you doing with a suitcase?".

I said filling the distance between us, she opens up to speak but got interupted when aunt calls me on the phone.

"Hello aunt!!" I took a quite look and walked further to answer her, we both spoke for a while.

(Inaudible conversation)

Thereafter, aunt kinda convinced me to let Tori in for at least a week, she complained about her through the phone and thought it wise for her to stay here with me, even though it's just for a week.

My aunt was like a mother to me, and I will not back down from her words and refuse to let my cousin stay here with me, even if it's only for five days.

I walked back and took hold of her suitcase, as we both ambled into the visitors room, Darren walks out of the room and sighted us ambling inside, and a few minutes later, he pushed the door open and saw Tori seated on the bed.

He falls his eyes and gestured out to me, apparently before I could say a word, Tori returned his eyes over by hurling him for a hug.

"Hello handsome!!! Did you miss me?" She says and shoots me an odd demenor by glaring at the mirror.

Darren pulls her away and dips the exact same look on her face, "good morning Tori! Why are you here? Because Karol didn't tell me about your wanting to stay with us". ( Falls his eyes on me).

"Yes!! Unfortunately, mom wanted me to stay with her and I think she might have forgotten to inform her, that's why she didn't inform you".  (She answered back and beers her eyes back to meet my iced glare, "isn't that right! Sister" (waits for my response).

So I said, " yes !!! She's right Daren, mom called this morning and told me, I wanted to come over to inform you but!!".

Darren's head jiggled to my words, and asserted, "it's okay!! Your family is my family, I understand and she can stay as long as she wants".

(Turns his back and leaves)

Tori eyes glued to the door and watched him leave, the slay smile she had, got me curious, I veered close and snapped her back to her senses, "what's going on? Where's your mind out" (frowned)

She moved a step backwards and throw an odd question, "awww!! Are you jealous that I might fall i might fall in love with Darren?".

(Evil look)

My cousin can be a witch if she wants to, but what I hope is that, her presence didn't cause any tension for myself that could get me exposed.

(I left without saying a word)

My feet strolled downstairs, the whole family was seated, uncle Kenny, my smith younger brotherwalked behind and placed his hands on my shoulder, "good morning Karol!! How are you feeling this morning".

"Good morning uncle!!  I am fine" I said wearing the most innocent look on my face.
