Karol POV

After a long day, sending time with my aunt, I returned home, the whole house was quiet, and it seemed kind of weird to see that no one Including the helpers was around.

My feet walked further and as I contemplated to myself, "where's everyone?" That's when I walk past Mr. Smith's room and caught the entire helpers was clogged up In his room, quickly I ran back to gain access to the reason behind the situation on the ground.

He says, "can anyone tell me where Jenny is? I haven't seen him for two days now and yet no one seems to know her whereabouts?".

The maids all talked amongst themselves, trying to figure out the truth, deep down I hoped no one knew anything about her whereabouts.

I figured it was best I left and returned to my room, but something dragged me back the moment one of the maids airs up a confession.

"I think I know where she is, sir!!".

Heeding to her words I veered and saw how itchy Mr. Smith was to hear her conversation, he proceeds again and ordered her to tell the truth and nothing more, we were all curious to hear her speak and so was I, unfortunately, another drama unfolds when Darren runs into the living room and yells out his father's name, which immediately gained our attention.

Mr. Smith ran out and saw me at the entrance of his room, he was so engrossed with the consistent yelling of his son, I viewed as he ran downstairs to meet him.

"Son!!! What's going on?" He inquired

Darren drops to the floor and airs out the truth to him, "father!! I  got news from Ajay, he just told me that the warehouse our goods was stored in, caught on fire".

Darren's dad almost fainted after heeding to the news, and if that wasn't enough, a man rushed in like he was behind chased.

"Abdul!! What's going on?".:

Abdul was the driver, in charge of taking Ravi to anywhere she wanted, he wears the same look Darren wore and said, "sir!! I drove ma'am to the market, and when she strolls close to the car, a gun was fired at her.

{Thunderstorm goes off).

"What!!! Where is my mom  now?" Darren inquired, thus without hesitation, dragged Abdul out to the hospital she was admitted to.

They left and not quite long, aunt phones me, "hello baby!!! Hope you finally got the news?" She says through the phone.

"What! What exactly do you mean?" I asked oblivious to her words.

(Inaudible conversation)

(A while after listening to her speak, aunt mentioned our conversation an hour ago)

"Now!! Do you remember?" She asked, fiddling to hear my voice.

Although we both discussed a lot of things, I didn't know trying to get Ravi killed was amongst, all I could remember was, trying to find a way to gain the property papers from Darren and now this happens.

"Look aunt!! I don't understand why you decided to kill Ravi, minus the fact, we never discussed that". I answered through the phone.

She waits for, and after a few minutes, speaks louder to my ears, "excuse me!! I never tried to get Ravi killed, and even if I did, you should be aware of it, all I did was to set the warehouse on fire, at all".

"Huh!! Then if not you, who else wants to kill Ravi and why?" I contemplated when my eyes veered and took notice of a man ambling through the front door.
