Vy's POV

I faint sitting on the side of the road. My class ended early because the last one who would have taught us did not come. I close my eyes and wash my palms on my face. There my tears fell. Why is Cassandra doing this to me? I know he's angry but does he have to do this to me? That contest is very important to me. I waited a year. Finished like this?

I wiped away my tears and hugged my legs. I was like that for a few minutes when my cellphone rang. I took it out of my pocket and answered immediately.

"Ly?"

[V-Vy! You need to know something!]

I was suddenly nervous again because of the tone of his voice, "W-what's that? Tell me Ly!"

[You are in danger of being fired as a university schooler because Sir will make you fall. Filipino Art!]

I stood up in my seat and couldn't believe what I was hearing now. Is there nothing I can see more about what is happening to me now?

"H-they can't g-do this to me! He can't just drop me! I did everything I could just to pass all my assignments!"

I was almost overwhelmed with resentment and anger but I was still able to calm myself. I will not let them do this to me!

[Cassandra must have something to do with it! That woman! Urgh! Where are you? What are you going to do now ?!]

"I will fight for what is right!"

I dropped the call and hurried to the teachers' quarters. There was no stopping the anger I was feeling now so I was no longer able to knock and just went inside. I shot Sir an evil look. Artito. I know Cassandra paid her just to bring me down.

"Ms. Elvyr ----,"

"You can't let me down like that! I did everything I could just to pass! Reports, Projects, Assignments, Tours as well as tasks! I DID EVERYTHING! I know Cassandra paid you to do this for me. ! Thank you Sir! Don't do this to me! " I shouted at him

The shock on his face was obvious, replaced by doubt, "W-what are you saying there Ms ---,"

My patience is really running out! Stop! "Don't get up early! I'm not just a schoolboy, you'll imagine me! Just because of money, you're ready to live the future of a young person who has done nothing but get out of trouble! Remember this! When you overthrow me and I found out you conspired. I'll make sure the principal finds out and I'll prove I'm right in any way! I'll make sure you get fired! " I shouted at him

"Are you threatening me Ms. Elvyra?" Her eyes narrowed

"YES! So scared of that!"

I didn't let him speak anymore and left the quarter. I slammed the door shut because of the anger and pain I was feeling.

"Vy !! What did Sir. Artito say?" Lily greeted me

I sat down on the bench I had passed earlier and washed my hands over my face. I could feel my tears flowing because of the bitterness I feel now. I have no regrets that I said that! Cassandra is so bad! Just because he was angry! He was willing to pay everything just to get me expelled from university.

I will not let him!

"I threatened him," I answered softly

His lips parted in shock, "You threatened him?" Lily

I wiped away the tears and smiled bitterly at her, "I'm getting tired of being underestimated by people Ly. All my life, I've tried just to get us through hardship. To make them proud mama. No matter what words I receive since I entered this university! I don't want to. I'm tired of keeping quiet and accepting all the words! I didn't try to make other people step on my dream so what did I tell him? I don't regret that, "

Lily sat down next to me and held my hand. He smiled at me as if relieving me.

I laughed when I remembered, "Yes. It's like when you stepped on a cockroach before and you cried because it stuck to your foot,"

He frowned and slapped my arm, "I'm taking back what I said,"

I laughed even harder because of what he said. He eventually got along. Somehow my chest weight decreased.

"Isn't Luhence going to pick us up and then Sungit today?" He asked

"Nasty? Nash?" I wonder question

"Yup! He's so rude. Come on! Maybe they've been waiting outside for a while," lily

We stood together and headed for the way out. After three minutes we saw their car in the hidden part. Luhence came out there and gave me a sweet smile which I returned.

"How's your day my lady?" Luhence

He kissed me softly on the lips before I opened the door to the backseat. I went in and he followed.

"It's okay,"

It's a great trip!

"Why are your eyes swollen? Did you cry?" His forehead furrowed

I shook my head and he did not answer but I hugged him on the side and leaned my face on his shoulder. I am also used to this position every time we are together because it makes me feel that he is real. That he was with me. I feel reassured.

"Let's go somewhere,"

I looked up at him, "Huh? Where else?"

He smiled meaningfully, "Somewhere you'll like,"

I shrugged and leaned over her again. For some reason Nash and I caught sight of the front mirror. There was something in his eyes that I could not explain. He averted his eyes.

I just closed my eyes and ignored it.
