Chapter 63: Chapter 63
Emma walked towards Zian anxiously. It has been a few days since Zian talked to her. Specifically since the day they caught Liam and Zada together.
On one side, she was missing him terribly and on the other side she was angry at him for putting Zada through hell. Every moment since that day, Zada had been crying. It is hell to sit by and watch her cry for her brothers.
She found Zian in the corridor near the library.
“Zi - Zi,” Emma called out as she hurried towards him.
Zian looked up and saw Emma hurrying towards her. He was furious with her too. For hiding Zada’s relationship with Liam from them.
How did she even manage to keep it a secret? She is not someone who is capable of keeping it to herself. And if she had managed to keep it a secret, she must have taken deliberate and conscious effort to do so. Which means she had knowingly set out to keep him in the dark.
“What do you want, Emma?” Zian asked angrily, as he started walking ahead, without waiting for him.
Emma rushed behind him, trying to catch up.
“Why are you not talking to me? Why are you not picking up my calls? Why are you making Zada cry? I haven’t seen her with dry eyes since that night.” Emma complained.
“Why didn’t you tell me about Zada and Liam? You knew and you hid it from me.” Zian accused her and Emma’s face fell.
“It was not my place to say that.” Emma said softly.
“Is that so? Then it isn’t your place to question me either regarding Zada.” Zian said furiously and walked away, leaving Emma hurt.

Liam furiously walked into the pub. He had just gotten off a call from Emily. Emily told him that Zada had gone to her brothers once again. Only for them to rebuff her.
He was beyond angry.
If he needs to kick some sense into the head of those two thick skulled over protective brothers, he wouldn’t hesitate to do that either.
Liam stormed into the dimly lit pub, his anger radiating like a storm. He couldn't believe the twins would be so stubborn, refusing to understand their sister’s point of view and her feelings for him. He needed to find a way to make them see that he had changed, that his feelings for Zada were genuine.
Spotting Zahir and Zian at a corner table, he headed straight for them. The tension in the room was palpable as Liam approached, his eyes locked onto Zahir's and Zian's with unrelenting determination.
"What the hell is wrong with you two?" Liam spat out, his voice laced with frustration. "Zada went to you to make amends, to reach out to her own brothers, and you threw it in her face. She loves you, and you are breaking her heart."
Zahir and Zian exchanged a glance, their expressions hardened. Zahir spoke first, his words cutting like ice.
"Liam, this is none of your business. Our sister is off-limits to someone like you. We won't let you hurt her."
"I have heard enough of your judgments," Liam retorted, clenching his fists. "I love Zada, and I won't let anyone, not even her brothers, stand in the way of our relationship. But that’s a fight for another day. I am here because you two are not being protective; you are being unreasonable."
The argument was escalating quickly, their voices rising and anger fueling the tension. Onlookers in the pub were starting to take notice, drawn by the intensity of the confrontation.
Zahir slammed his palm on the table, his face inches from Liam's.
"Unreasonable? You think we are unreasonable? You have no idea who you are dealing with, Liam. You have only seen us as friends. Now we are your enemies. On your wrong side.”
"Zada is our sister, and we have always protected her. We won’t let a blo*dy playboy play with her feelings." Zian chimed in, his voice seething with anger.
“I just don’t care what you two think about me. It is least of my concern at the moment. But I won’t standby and watch when you two hurt my girl, shutting her out.” Liam spat at them furiously.
As tensions flared, things took a dangerous turn. Zahir stood up and shoved Liam back, causing him to stumble into a nearby table. The pub erupted into chaos as everyone looked on in shock.
A brawl ensued, with punches thrown and angry words exchanged.
Zahir and Zian were furious, their protectiveness for Zada driving their aggression. Liam, equally furious, fought back, determined to stand up for the woman he loved.
Amidst the chaos, the pub's staff rushed in to break up the fight.
Zahir and Zian were pulled away, still shouting threats at Liam, while Liam, his face bruised and bloodied, struggled to break free to continue the confrontation.
The pub's manager stepped in, demanding everyone calm down or face being thrown out. The fight was over for now, but the tension remained thick in the air.
“You better stop being childish and unreasonable. If I see one more drop of tear in her eyes for you two, you will see a Liam you never knew existed.” Liam said in a warning tone.
As Liam, panting and bloodied, was led out of the pub, he couldn't help but think that maybe this confrontation had done more harm than good. It was clear that Zahir and Zian were fiercely protective of Zada and he had only managed to make things worse by getting into a physical fight with them. But they hurt his Mirrie. They made her cry and he couldn’t control it. Zada would be furious with him for hurting her brothers and he somehow has to make things better.
For Zahir and Zian, the fight with Liam left them wondering if they had gone too far in their efforts to protect their sister.
Zada's love for Liam was undeniable, and it was very evident for them. But it was Liam’s feelings they had worried about. The brawl had shaken their resolve, and they found themselves questioning if there was more to Liam than they had initially believed.
“He wasn’t fighting with us for their relationship..” Zian said thoughtfully, as he wiped the drop of blood from his cut lips.
“He was fighting for our relationship with Zada..” Zahir added, thoughtfully.
