Chapter 150: Chapter 150
“That mutt.” James Waititi hissed, reaching the hotel where they had hidden. Apparently, Calvin knew where they were staying. “He not just knows about us, but he is also keeping an eye on us,” he added, tossing his phone away. “What now, sister?” He asked, looking at her cousin, who looked extremely angry but was thinking something at the same time.
“Tess? Did you hear me?” He checked on her again.
“Have you heard that you do not insult the mouth of the crocodile while your foot is still in the water? I’m not very pleased to admit this, James, but right now, that mutt is that crocodile in this case.” She said, accepting the defeat because that was the bitter truth.
All Tessa Bale was thinking was how Ethlyn entered their land, killed her son, and then that stupid Alpha was supporting her. Why? Because she was the mother of his pup.
She wasn’t looking at the part about how mercilessly she had killed those innocent seven pups. She wanted revenge, but her hands were tight, and she knew if she would do anything against them, then she, along with all her family members, would be five feet under the ground.
So, it would be better if she would take a few steps back for now.
“Does that mean that we will leave him or his pack members just like that? Those dogs killed 80% of our members, and those who are left are either mostly women or kids.”
“Then we have to wait until those kids would be ready to avenge the death of their family members. Let’s poison their mind from now onwards so that when they would grow up with hatred in their heart and the thought of killing those mutts no matter what.”
“That will take years.” James Waititi pointed out in frustration.
“Rome wasn’t built in a day either. But they were laying bricks every hour. You don’t have to build everything you want today; just lay a brick, James. I hope you are getting what I’m trying to explain.” Tessa said, folding her arms around her chest in determination.
“Yes, I get it.”
‘I will be back, Calvin Haysbert. I will be back when you will think that all your problems have been solved. I will be back at that moment.’ Tessa Bale talked with herself. At that moment, she didn’t have any other choice other than to wait until she would have the upper hand.

[A/N: The part of hunters in this story ends here. Their part will continue further in the story of Roselet and Hunter; I’m sure a lot of readers would have guessed that part already. And no, I’m not going to write Roselet right away. I will finish the story of all the elders first. That’s the most asked question from the readers.]

“Don’t you think that you shouldn’t have let them go?” Zordan asked when he heard that Calvin just scared those hunters, nothing else.
“What else do you want me to do, Zordy? Hmm. To kill everyone except the pups of those hunters? Do you want me to make those pups orphans? I can’t do that.” Calvin said, shaking his head. “That would be so cruel. I have just warned them so that it would be now in their hand how they’re going to shape their future.”
“Ah. I can already see that the pups whom you’re leaving alive just because they’re too young will be the ones who will try to kill us tomorrow.” Zordan sighed.
“We will be prepared for that then. And I promise that I wouldn’t mind killing those pups when they would grow older. We are enemies, and this enmity won’t end ever… ever… ever… because the leader of hunters is not interested in doing that.” Calvin said, shaking his head.
“What if the next leader would want to end this all mess?” Zordan questioned.
“Anyone raised by that woman couldn’t be less evil than Tessa Bale. She killed those innocent pups mercilessly for nothing. Rose will be the next leader of the pack, so I’ll make sure that she will be ready to cut the head of the next leader of the hunters when the time comes.”
