I had thought I would die, the speed was so great, I have never seen a savaged demon before and I guess she is one of them, there was fury in her eyes, her body burn with rage, her claws were so sharp and craved for skin to pierce, she looked so deadly,

My eyes went shut tightly as I saw her rush at me with those great powers and magic, it was enough to shred me into pieces,

"Elf, please...." I had mumbled under my breath waiting for her strike but then I felt nothing, something strange really happened,

It seemed like I was controlled by an unseen force, it was so unusual and I never thought I could do such a thing, the force came from inside me, with the great speed she had, my hand still caught her throat ao easily and before I could know it, I pushed her away forcefully and was shocked at the power I got,

The push made her slam her back to the wall so hard and I shuddered staring at my hands.,

"How did I do that?" I asked myself as she slowly got up to her feet staring at me from head to toe, there was a pure surprise in her eyes, she never expected it, I too never saw it coming,

"How....how...did you did that?" She sputtered walking closer to me,

I moved back in fear,

Just then, the door of the room opened and three guards stepped in,

"Luna, the Alpha needs your presence now" one of them informed and I sighed in relief, at least she is leaving...

"Okay, I'll be there in a jiffy!" She smiled and they bowed leaving immediately,

"Elena was that the power of your wolf??... did your stinky and good-for-nothing wolf has such a force to push me to the wall so hard!!" She growled with a look of contempt, there was no doubt she hated every single part of me, Including my shadow...

I could say any word as I wondered, I really can't understand how I was able to do that, the power I felt that moment was so great and I noticed my wolf scamper and huddled inside me, I knew I didn't shift into my wolf, it was that strange beast in me, it took control of my hand and I was able to fight Elf...

"I can see you ain't easy to kill, I love it, at least you will be alive to see how your park goes into extinction, I'll wipe you all from the surface of the earth, as for your father...." She paused and smirked,

"His body will be sacrificed in the altar of the demons, we will drink his blood and eat his flesh!!!" She growled and laughed croaky.

"I'll tell all this to my dad, I'll report to everyone and let them know you are a demon!!!....I'll tell them you are evil!!!!" I screamed with hot tears rolling down continuously...

She sneered at me and burst into a scornful laugh clapping her hands.

"Poor girl, you will end up being beaten to stupor like always, no one will believe you, after killing your mother and having those strange eyes, who wants to hear a word from a rejected wolf..." She giggled and held my jaw raising my gaze to her face.

"You are trash, don't stress yourself, at least you escaped death today, let me see how many royal members can do the same..." She laughed again before leaving,

I slumped on the bed weakly as my head pound so hard, I can feel the hotness of my red eyes like it has fire in them, I shut it tightly feeling the heaviness of my heart increase, she was right,

I'm trash and no one will believe me especially when it was about the new Luna, they were surely going to beat me up for spitting such a word about her, why can't they just see it?

"Elena, you are a hybrid!" My wolf exclaimed with surprise,

"I guess so because right now, I don't just know I was able to escape death, how I was able to withstand such a great force from her power that could burst me up" I sighed and hissed laying on the bed in hunger,

"I'm hungry" my wolf sulked and I cuddled myself up with tears falling off,

"I won't be eating anything till nightfall, that is how they made it, I'm going to be starving from morning till night, unfortunately, they thought I was the demon, they were afraid I'll kill them if I got the strength,

Never did they knew the devil was in their midst, I wish anyone would listen to me, Elf is the head demon.

Jason's POV

I got into my room with a sad face, I wasn't happy at all and everything pisses me up, the scene of her maltreatment was never leaving my head, it keeps sending me into the mood of sadness,

I slumped right on my bed hissing continuously, a little smile find its way through my face as I recalled the sweet feelings I got that moment I got her scent and saw her...

She looked so pretty and innocent, those eyes were strange yet it sent warmth through me and I can't just forget the feelings, it really sent pleasurable sensations through my whole body,

I swallowed the lump in my throat and made a deep breath, it hurts to find your mate and also find out that you both can never be together, mates are meant to be together but I swear we are unlucky, it was close to impossible, we can't be together,

I am sure dad will kill her once he finds out she is my mate, he hates and detests mate so much, love was one thing he dreads so deep, he hates the name itself,

"love is a weakness, it makes you soft and vulnerable, falling in love is like giving up your defense.. you will be easily killed!" Those were the words he would keep telling me,

He believes you are already dead once you fall in love...

Dad had never told me why he turned that way, I never knew who his mate is, I have no mother and grew up cruelly, killing was becoming my hobby, everyone fears me, dad made me a devil, there was no love in me, he made me become a cold-hearted and ruthless man...

Yes, that is what I am not until today, just today, a strange girl made me soft, my subconscious and wolf made me believe she is my mate, how can I cope with it!!

With frustration, I grabbed the duvet and covered my whole body, I shut my eyes and his face came in,

Just then, something clicked my mind, I hissed and sat up from the bed,

The school was resuming in three days from today,

The door of my room sprang open that moment and dad stomped in,

"Hey, Dad, what is chasing you?" I asked raising my brow,

"Take this!" He huffed and flung a pistol to me,

I caught it up the air arching my brow,

"What I'm I going with it?" I asked and he took out two picture from his pocket and hand it to me,

"Kill those two this night!" He ordered with grim all over his face,

I stared at the picture and instantly recognized them, the men were his debtors,

"Dad, they hadn't paid back that money?" I asked and he growled,

"I'm busy or I would have killed them myself, just make sure they die, I can't give them any more time, no one plays with me and go scot-free!" He gruffed before heading out,

I shrugged and shove the picture into my pocket,

"Lest I forget" I heard dad voice again, he turned and walked back to me,

"What actually happened in the silver moon park??...you felt pity for the girl, can I know why?" He asked with a stern look,

I stared at his face and got goose pimples, I am just noticing how deadly dad looks, now I see why everyone fears him, his gaze alone can make you froze.

"I don't feel any pity, just forget that..." I waved my hand and made to look away when he grabbed my jaw directing it to his face...

"I hope she isn't your mate???... if she is, then I am killing her right away!!" He growled and my eyes dilated,

I felt my heart flutter, I looked into his eyes and saw he wasn't joking, there was just no trace of a smile on his face, he was surely going to kill her if she is my mate,

"But I thought you said I got no mate?...why the unnecessary fear?" I asked with a raised brow and he gave out a short laugh deep throated,

"No werewolf was created without a mate, but there are few who should live without a mate, I'm one of them, you are one of them!...mate gets you soft and vulnerable, my mate caused me this scar!!" He growled pointing at the scars on his face and neck,

"I treated my mate cruelly and she accepted my rejection, I later killed her!... I adopted you because I need a man to fight with me!..never get stuck with a mate!!" He thundered with his scary voice reverberating through the whole building,

"Alright, let me go" I swallowed hard and he released the grip on my jaw,

"Never let love destroy you, be the devil you should be!!..that's the only way you can win and conquer!" He howled peering into my eyes,

I nodded and clenched my fist,

"You saved my life and trained me to be what I am, I'll always be loyal to you Dad..." I bowed and he smiled pulling me into a hug,

"When you get to school, always remember this, ladies are the devil in disguise, someday, I'll tell you how my mate almost get me killed with a wolfbane, they aren't worth your love, they were created just for sexual pleasure, they are toy and should be treated like one!" He growled and I nodded,

"Fine..." He muttered walking out immediately,

I slumped back to the bed and lay flatly facing the ceiling,

Javier walked hastily to his room growling as he thought of the expression his son had when he saw the young girl treated badly, at first he never gave it much thought, but not until he saw them share eyes contact,

There were pure emotions in his son's eyes and he knew he was falling for a lady, his son was actually falling in love,

Fuck!...recalling all that makes his heart twitch, love was one thing he hated with a passion, and Jason his son should never fall for that, or all he had planned for years would be in vain, it will all be shattered!

Without hesitation, he unlocked his secret chamber with a magic wand and got in,

He quickly brought a magic ball which was illuminating bright light like sparkles...

His eyes widened in shock as he noticed something, the light was getting dim, he could remember the words of the sorcerer, the light was dimming and that meant just one thing,

He shook his head moving back a bit, this was something he never wants to happen now, not when the time was getting closer, the time to revenge,

He had adopted him after finding out he was a special hybrid with great power, he knew having him would give him victory over Alpha Daren Wolve,

He glanced back at the fireball with a deep grunt,

The light just went low now and that sent shivers through his whole body,

All this meant just one thing...

Jason has met his mate!

"I'm going to kill her the moment I set my eyes on her!" He growled with a clenched fist,
