Chapter 105: Chapter 105

Sara was sitting calmly in the corral, watching over the woman and children, trying to find out the best plan to save them, her eyes looking at them, each one in her own world but they all somehow felt the same, her deep thinking however didn’t stop her from hearing the approaching steps, and she knew they were there for her.

And indeed, two soldiers walked into the corral and grabbed her harshly, she didn’t resist, she allowed them to move her and push and pull her without a word, it wasn’t the time to fight yet, and the pain they thought they were inflicting on her was nothing near the one she suffered at the hand of Eren and his bitch, and for a second, she wondered if something good did result from that whole ordeal, for her pain tolerance had increased to surprising levels.

It wasn’t that she wasn’t feeling the pain, it was just that she was able to sustain it, deciding not to dwell about it more, Sara walked with the soldiers who kept on pushing her forward, until she was in front of that big house again, judging by its architecture, she figured it was the magistrate’s house, which was turned to the captain’s den.

Walking inside, Sara noticed the many soldiers sitting on several corners of the large hall that greeted them, but what caught her attention was the girls that served them, they were all young, around her age or younger, beautiful, bruised, and completely naked.

Sara caught a glimpse of one of the girl’s eyes as it fell on her, and she couldn’t help but grit her teeth at how broken the girl looked, stripped out of her dignity and shame, of her humanity, by humans like herself, looking down, she noticed that a word was carved on her bare stomach, with a knife, the word being slave.

“You, bring that one here, I want her to suck my cock!” one of the soldiers called from the far corner, his eyes on Sara, she wanted to glare at the bastard and then go there, cut his precious manhood and shove it in his throat, but she chose to remain calm, just a bit longer, she told herself.

“Not before the captain interrogates her first!” one of the soldiers holding her glared at the one who spoke before pushing her forward toward the stairs, Sara walked without resistance, keeping in mind that she had to go back and save the girl’s as fast as she could, especially when she heard the same bastard call out for another girl, which was followed by the rough sound of a slap, a cry, men laughter, and then the gags that made Sara want to throw up.

Climbing the stairs, Sara was met again with a sight that made her blood boil, as a soldier dragged a dead and tortured girl from her hair down the stairs, the girl was beaten to the point where her face was unrecognizable, but judging by her body, Sara figured that that one too was her age.

“There is another one inside, help me with it while he entertains himself with his new toy!” the man dragging the girl said with a half smirk as he looked at Sara, almost as if telling her that the same fate was waiting for her.

'’So, you are the fugitive?'' The captain, who was sitting on a large leather chair in the middle of the room, his feet resting on the body of the second girl who was lying dead at the foot of the chair, ran his eyes over Sara's body several times, liking how thin yet curvaceous it was, even without her long silver locks were gone and were replaced by a weird black cut and the vivid scars that covered half of her face, and even with the large man clothes she was wearing, the girl was still very beautiful with desirable body and a sharp edge and pride that made him want to torture and fuck her until she submitted to him, he always liked the feisty ones, they were always the ones that steered the fun, unlike the docile obedient dolls, and that pride she carried in her pure and unique eyes, it was not something an average village girl owned, that defiant stand and radiant strength, the girl wasn't shaking, wasn't crying, she didn't even look scared, she was rather indifferent, unfazed, bored even, but not broken.

''You are not going to answer, Are you?'' The captain who was in his late forties smirked at Sara who was looking him right in the eyes, something about this girl triggered the beast inside of him like no other woman, the corner of his eyes twitched and his heart jumped with a limitless excitement at the thought of taming the wild girl who was radiating with true confidence and resistance, not a fake one like some tend to show.

But everyone had their limits, and he wanted to push her beyond hers to see if she keeps her attitude or not, with an evil smile, he silently signed to the two soldiers who brought her in and they were quick to grab her, their rough fingers tightening on her delicate arms, nevertheless, her eyes didn’t waver, her unfazed expressions didn’t change, and the way she stood remained the same, she didn't even try to move or dodge, she didn't flinch, she just continued to stare at the captain right in the eyes with the same unmistakable defiance.

''Get on with it'' Sara's words were as calm and cold as her face, she did mean her words though as she wanted to take the poor villagers to safety as fast as she could, the captain on the other hand, only felt his insides burning at the girl's boldness, his soldiers looked at each other, perplexed, before looking back at him, waiting for his orders.

Standing up slowly, the captain poured the wine on the girl’s body before throwing the cup away and stepping on the dead girl, deliberately as he noticed the girl’s jaw tightening at his acts, he walked to her confidently and grabbed her chin, his fingers digging on each side of her jaw, deliberately landing on her scars, but she didn’t flinch.

''Listen, you little cu...'' the captain stopped abruptly, shocked by the hateful look on the girl’s eyes, a murderous one, one that scared him and made his very core shiver, it wasn’t like him to feel threatened by a glare, especially if it came from such a small girl, nevertheless, looking into her eyes felt as if he was looking at his own death.

But that wasn’t it, it wasn’t just her eyes, but it was also her skin, her skin was abnormally warm and he felt as if…as if his energy and strength were leaving his body, as if it was being sucked by her, the feeling that was dull at first quickly turned to a vivid pain, a strange buzzing filled his head and his body felt painful and heavy.

A demoness? The captain wondered, trying to retrieve his hand but failing miserably, his body wasn’t obeying him, it was transfixed, with his eyes still on the girl who was still looking at him with the same hateful eyes.

Sara wanted to extend the bastards agony a bit more, but she knew that she had a full village of soldiers to reap and villagers to save, the villagers who were all Dahlia to her, unfortunate souls, just like herself, and just like the little girl who was no more than a memory to cherish right then, those people, they were the innocent ones, the good in the world, and the ones that deserved to live.

At first, Sara didn’t know what she was doing, all what she knew is that she was angry, the lights around the soldiers and their leader reacted to her anger, and all she had to do was draw the destabilized auras to her, suck out the life force from the bastards who were not worthy of it, and just as she killed the bastard Vernon, the two soldiers fell on the ground, drained and lifeless.

And it felt as natural as breathing, she didn’t even think, or do anything, it happened almost passively.

Staring back at the expressionless face, the captain tried to beg for his life as he felt life leaving his body, but all that met him was the same murderous glare, and the lips that silently mouthed one scary word.

DIE...

.....

No one knew what happened in the Tuba village, the next day when the supplies carriages arrived at the village, the entire place looked like a vengeful grim reaper raided it at night, bodies were scattered everywhere, in the streets, inside the houses, on the porches and patios, in the stores and field, around the village, everywhere, and while every single soldier was laying dead, only few hostages’ were found, the strange thing about the bodies though was the fact that none of them carried any injuries, no wounds no deathly bruises of any kind.

Not understanding what happened, the soldiers who brought the supplies wrote to the commander that they were suspecting it to be a plague of some kind, a plague that killed hundreds of soldiers over a night, and with that said, the Tuba village was burned to the ground in fears that the plague would spread even further, and the Manrast soldiers were called beyond the borders while the mystery was being solved.
