Kyhe was yet to get his question out as it was forgotten about with other things. The following day Jhonia decided to go by the office knowing Kyhe would not be there until noon.

She stared at Josephine, who lost her smile in an instant with Jhonia’s tone of voice.

Jhonia made her way to the conference room where she took a seat at the head of the table. The CEO’s seat only Josephine sits there when having a small meeting with her team. Jhonia on the other hand sat there and that was surprising for Josephine.

“I have known you for a long time, Josie, but I never expected this. I know you’re so well, so I’m going to ask you to tell me. Yesterday I asked you to come with me to the after party for whoever won the contract. You refused because you had someone to do dirty work, or did you have something else more important to do?”

Josephine kept silent because she knew Jhonia was there just as her friend but the largest shareholder of Sky. She could not look Jhonia in the eye. But what shocked her was Jhonia’s question about her doing someone else's dirty work.

“What made you think you couldn’t ask me for help even after knowing that I hold most of Sky’s shares?” Jhonia decided to ask a question she cannot find an excuse in answering.

“I have been having some thoughts. So, if you can hear me, which I think you can. I want you to investigate my friend Josephine for me. Something about her recent behavior makes me question her loyalty within Sky.” Jhonia spoke with her personnel protector from the shadows, better known as the Guardian Angel of hers. “Then why did you help him?” she asked without looking up, Jhonia held her head to the table afraid of seeing through Josephine if she should lie.

“Why the hell did you help Kyhe find me, if you knew you were going to do this to him. WHY?”

Kyhe, who was already at the office, made his way to the computer department with haste after getting the call through his office phone.

Moments went by with silence from both Josephine and Jhonia. Kyhe spurt through the doors and enter to see Jhonia where he would sit.

“Josephine, why don’t you step outside for a moment.” Kyhe said to her as she stood byside Jhonia.

“I dare you to make a step without my orders. Sit. That’s an order.” Jhonia's tone changes when she dares Josephine to leave, then orders her to sit. Kyhe knew not to go against her, so he took a seat.

“Nearce, should be arriving at his office or he is already there and is seeing that I signed the divorce papers. He would also be notified that Baco, and his wrongdoings in the past include the one Josephine got herself involved in. Josephine, what would happen if your sick mother learned that you have jail for things you didn't do because you foolishly helped my ex-husband?”

“I should just fire you but your mother who I adore so much would ask questions I’ll be afraid to answer.” Jhonia spoke to Josephine with tears in her eyes because for someone who hated Nearce she is hurt to see her seek help in the wrong place.

Jhonia got up and left them in silence. After some time Kyhe decided to go after her. Jhonia was already down and heading out. He rushed up to catch Jhonia but Tyu grabbed him.

“What the hell is going on? Why is your company up for-”

“Hey. This is what you’re going to look for? Nearce Pinnock, Sky was the company doing fraud did he not?”

Surprise and cut by Jhonia everyone on the street stopped and gave Jhonia her attention who was called out to the offices who came to search Sky. A box filled with files some of which were in a blue file holder. Kyhe stood in confusion because he was informed that those blue file’s holders were in a secret locker owned by Josephine.

Josephine stood within the company in tears to see that even after what she did Jhonia protected her. On the other hand, Nearce was arrested for all that he had done.

“Jhonia…” Tyu called in tears looking at how she was ahead of everyone, which means that Sky was safe and so is sky.

“Can I marry her right now?” Kyhe asked as he fiddled with the back of his head.

Meanwhile,

“Hello, mom is everything okay?” Josephine picked her mothers incoming call and asked her.

“Jhonia is such a blessing. I knew you said you were afraid to ask her for help, but she must have found out on her own. Our debts are clear completely. She owns the hotel now, she even put some lady name Madia, Medea something such a nice lady. This room is still our now you will only pay for electricity and save towards buying back out house. The agent called. She said if we want to re-purchase it, we can. How good is that little angel? With such a heart blessing of love all around shall find her.”

Josephine stood listening to mother words as if she was hearing Jhonia speaking to her on how she would have done anything for her, yet she betrayed her the way she did. Jhonia could not understand why Jhonia chose to help even after what she did.

The officers took the file and left after looking through the box given to them. They were surprised but understood because Jhonia had already given them a heads up on what Nearce was doing long ago.

“Jhonia, sweetheart.” Mrs. Pinnock appeared and called her with open arms.

“It’s over. It is really over.” Jhonia's crying words were heard by everyone as she accepted the open arms handed to her.

“It is, if anything should happen you have the Mcgold stand behind you.” Novia said to Jhonia while hugging her.

“Ah, Ms. Mcgold my I have the rights to marry your adoptive daughter?” Kyhe asked and Jhonia pulled out the hug and looked at Mrs. Pinnock.

“You asked me to use my own opinion and that is my honest one. No, you don’t have to change a thing on your papers, you just have a second one. Orean will work in the company for you. So, you can stay by his side. Yes, you have permission to wed my baby.” Mrs. Pinnock explained to Jhonia, Kyhe had no idea that Jhonia was not yet told. Also gave her approval for their wedding.

“Calm down, what if someone thinks you have gone nuts.” Tyu said to him, and they all laughed.

“Just so you know love, I would save you both.” Kyhe said, responding to Jhonia's question from the after party.

“I should head home; I didn’t sleep much last night.” Jhonia announced her wish to go home and why.

“I shall send the bride to be home; a congratulatory party shall be at hand when she awoke from slumber.” Tyu said with a devilish smirk on her. Mrs. Pinnock left with the girls.
