Later that night, Jhonia wanted to take Nearce’s calls and give him a piece of her mind, but she was told by Kyhe to not say a word from earlier that day. Kyhe on the other hand could not understand what was wrong with her. She was just looking at him like an innocent child waiting for their father to lift their punishment.
“Jhonia, will you... Ah, I need help!” He called her as he was saying he cut himself off and with a heavy sigh he stated his needs for help. But all Jhonia did was look at him. Kyhe looked at his watch and looked back at her.
“Fine, Jhonia speak.” He added to telling her to speak after realizing what she’s doing.
“Ah! I can finally.” She shouted then she smiled brightly saying, the fact that she stopped at finally made Kyhe wonder so he began turning to her. Jhonia was on top of him, her raging eyes made him flinch. She leans on him staring into his eyes, she leans into him biting her lower lip. Suddenly she pulled back and got up, taking her phone with her leaving Kyhe in the moment.
“Goddammit! Jhonia, what the hell is wrong with you?” He yelled at her as he watched her walking away, he questioned what was wrong with her. He then noticed that she had her phone and he looked at her, as she went to the bathroom. Inside the bathroom she sat down on the seat after putting the toilet cover down. She took a deep breath as she dealt Nearce number, she put the phone to her ear listening to it ring.
“Hello.” She answered the phone, but it was silent. Then she heard the sound of heels, she raised an eyebrow and sigh softly.
“Hello.” Nearce voice came in through the phone.
“I really don’t mean much to you do i? Scratch that, it’s not why I called. Nearce Pinnock, do you think playing with other people's feelings is funny? I guess it is, because who else would be so selfish? You lied to me, pretended to be with me, your act with care.You really had me for a moment, honestly. So, you wanted to use me for your gain, I really don’t get you. I hope you change for your own good though. Please, don’t call my phone again. Do you remember telling me something like… You said, you would present the one whom I slept with head to me, as a present? Well, how do I say this? Kyhe, Kyhe knight is that person.” Jhonia asked him, not giving him a chance to speak. She said to him, informing him that wasn’t the reason she called him. She called out his name and asked him if it was fun to hurt people by playing with their feelings and answer the question for him and ask him who else would be so selfish. She reminds him how he lied, pretends, and acts as if he cares for her. She then said to him, her way of telling him she knows why he was kind to her, yet she doesn't get him. She hoped for him to change, before she pleaded and told him not to call her again. She then asked him about the time he told her he was going to bring the head of the man she slept with to her as a present, she smiled and allowed it to be heard that she’s smiling by Nearce as she asked him. She called Kyhe’s name before saying it in full telling Nearce that Kyhe will be the one.
Meanwhile, Kyhe, who could not take the suspension, went to the bathroom door. He stood listening to her and remembered telling her she is hurting even if she doesn’t admit it. He stood there and listened to everything, it was as if Jhonia wanted him to follow her and listen to her conversation. Because even after ending the call she stayed inside the bathroom. Kyhe decided to go back to the couch and the moment he sat down she left the bathroom and went back to the hall of her apartment.
“Can we talk?” She asked him as she stood looking down at him, looking up at her. He reached out holding her hand pulling her to him, Jhonia sat on his lap and wrapped her left arm around his neck, she met his gaze.
“Nearce, once promised to give the head of the man I was to sleep with, to me a gift. So.” Jhonia said to him, telling him Nearce had planned to present his head to her as a gift. Kyhe stared at her in an unbelievable facial reaction.
“He said that to you, why?” He asked her.
“Briefly. We were falling apart quickly because I was acting out and pretending like i will be sleeping on him soon and said some things that got to him, once we were doing it and i was reminiscing on the past that person who turned out to be you. I couldn’t get you out of my head and he noticed my absent mind, so he said that to me.” She said, informing him it would be brief, and so she began to explain how it started because of her acting and him being inside her while her mind was elsewhere. In that moment he came to know that he was not the only one thinking of her regardless of not knowing who they were to each other. She then gives her explanation as to why Nearce said that to her.
“He can't, so don't worry.” Kyhe said to her, and she looked at him. She sighs and holds his face to hers.
“Kyhe, I’m saying this because I care. Nearce always gets people to take the fall for him, he is always playing dirty. Do you believe he really wanted Azerjie? No, he was doing it to spite you, and the girl you lock up. I found out about it in the office, Nearce was involved. He was also the mastermind behind the so-called Baco, he owns it. He had also slept with Jaeminy second in command it’s likely he will get to her and use her to get information, he’s manipulative.” Jhonia calls him by his name, she tells him she’s being serious. She said to him and told him how Nearce never allowed himself to get caught and he is a dirty businessman. She asked him about Azerjie and answered the question. He flinched when he heard her words, but she told him how she knew and then told him how Nearce was involved. But he already knew that, so she then told him something that surprised him. His almost downfall was planned by Nearce but he was saved by his wife, then told him about Emmari sleeping with him. She told him what kind of man Nearce is and he’s to expect betrayal from Emmari soon.
“Emmari?” He asked and she nodded.
“Yes, I caught them. He started to change his sleeping withs, because the number one was seeking too much and it caused me to ask him for a divorce in the presence of his mother.” She responded to him and told him she caught them doing it. However, he began changing them because the first and only one was the reason she asked him for a divorce.
“I won’t be like him.” Kyhe side to her, hugging onto her.
“Maybe not now, but you were no different back then.” She said and he looked up at her, she added, and he looked away before looking back at her.
“Can we move on and put the past behind us? I’m overjoyed right now and all, you are meeting my mom and giving her the news, she has been dying to hear. I can finally look at my brother and say I found my ghost girls. I knew when I first met you, you were the one for me. So, let’s go forward with us and no one else.” Kyhe asked her to leave the past where it is. He then told her how happy he was, and she will make things unrealistic by giving his mother what she’s asking for, and finally he can tell his brother about his ghost girl, he just was to go into their future and not linger in the past.
“What do you mean your ghost girl? Who is that and what does it have to do with me?” She asked him in a strange tone, she asked another question that told him. He would better explain and leave nothing out.
