“I should, shouldn't i? Maybe you're right but I wanted to end the contract first, but now that I'm thinking about it! I think it's best for me to take a step out of my shell.” Jhonia said then asked with a smile. As she continued speaking Jea looked at the time, knowing Kyhe in a moment of care, two hours became one.

"You should sweetie. Let's continue speaking about this tomorrow. You need rest, wash your eyes and dry them carefully okay?" Jea said as it was almost an hour. He then said, trying to end the conversation as he then does it like it's for her, Jhonia he's ending the call for Jhonia.

“Okay. Good night brother.” Jhonia agreed and told him good night.

"Good night." Jea responded and she ended the call by putting the phone down and she stood from her bed sighing heavily.

She walked to the bathroom thinking about what Jea said. Meanwhile! Kyhe is still on the phone trying to get to her, speeding over the limit... He sped past a cop car which immediately went after him, but he ignored them trying to get his attention and stop him...

He took the turn right onto the path to Jhonia which the cops had to slow down and take the same turn. The sudden breaks and twirled of his car frightened Scattory and the guard Cassidy request from Mrs. Emlinns. Kyhe rushed from the car leaving it open with the engine still running after getting on the elevator Cassidy entered after staring at the car and the cop who have just packed.

“What's going on?” Cassidy asked, referring to the guard, Scattory was getting ready to speak then he noticed her attention was turned to the guard.

“Why is Mr. Knight's car is parked like that still on and why are the cops here?” Cassidy asks the question better.

"Can't say for sure but it could only be for the lady up there, the one you won't shut up about!"

He responded to her, raising an eyebrow saying.

“Ms. Jhonia.”

"Excuse us. I hope that you will cooperate with us so things can go smoothly." One of the officers said, taking their attention and said.

"He went up on the elevator." Scattory cut in before Cassidy could speak and said.

“He's not a bad person and you will regret making him out to be. Take the stairs because he's still on the elevator once you go up and turn right.” Cassidy said glaring at Scattory, then told the cops where he would be. They rushed off running up the stairs... Jhonia is still washing her face, carefully. Kyhe is stepping off the elevator. The cops are running up the stairs. Kyhe walked hurriedly to the door and rang the doorbell as he began knocking!

“Who is that so late?” Jhonia questioned picking her towel, opening the bathroom door while Kyhe realize the door is open as the cops came up and saw him entering the room. Once he laid eyes on Jhonia who is patting her face dry. He walked over to her as began removing the towel revealing her red eyes. Kyhe sighed of relief pulling her into his arm.

"You scared me to death, I have never been so happy to see someone okay." Kyhe said hugging onto her, so dumbfounded by the whole situation Jhonia stood still in surprise because she had only cried in Nearce and Jea's ears over the phone.

“Scared you to death?” Jhonia asked.

"But you're okay." Kyhe responded holding her as if he released her, she was to vanish from his arms. Jhonia tried pushing him away but remember what Jea said.

"I don't think you're stupid. I think you're afraid that Nearce will replay in him and you will be so hurt for trusting him, but you never know what's coming if you don't pick another card. I was like that too. Until some celebrity changes my whole view on life, who knows? He whom you keep pushing away might come running into your arms the way you wish your husband would. So hear me sweetie, you are so beautiful and talented and still young so please stop waiting on someone who isn't going to change."

Her hand slowly hugs Kyhe back as she remembers his words. Kyhe was so relieved that she's fine, he didn't realize what he was doing until...

"Ahem." One of the cops finally cleared his throat, and they released each other.

Kyhe turned around while Jhonia stepped out from behind him. After staring Jhonia down both cops cleared their throats finding it hard to look away. Kyhe looked down at Jhonia and realized the short was not only showing her up but it was barely covering her thighs. He placed his hands on her waist and pushed her behind him.

"For what do we owe the pleasure from slimeball?" Kyhe asked, looking at them with anger.

“Slimeball? ... Perverts. Kyhe, why would you say that?” Jhonia questioned his last words but quickly realized what he meant then asked him.

"Do I need to tell you how you're dressed?" Kyhe asked as he glanced back at her angrily. Jhonia gasped!

“Sorry. Mom changed them into these. But Mr. Knight, it's past midnight, why are you here?” Jhonia apologized and explain then asked but address Kyhe as Mr. Knight made the cops remember what the girl downstairs told them.

“He's not a bad person and you will regret making him out to be. Take the stairs because he's still on the elevator once you go up and turn right.”

"She was right!" One of the cops said looking at Kyhe who is looking at Jhonia.

"Not entirely but if we leave now, It would be for the best!" The other responded saying they should sneak away. But then Kyhe turned around to them.

"Should you at least ticket me for speeding?" Kyhe asks to remove his jacket and turns around putting it on Jhonia.

"Speeding? Who was speeding?" One of the cops asked and Kyhe turned around and from the corner of his eyes he saw the cake he sent with the flowers on the mini table. He looked away and began walking to the cops.

"Let's do this outside." Kyhe said as he escorted them out closing the door behind him, Jhonia breathed out heavily.

She then began looking for her phone after spotting it she rushed for it... She then realized what had happened and why Kyhe was there and being chased by cops for speeding...

“I overheard his friend saying something about it being his first kiss. Jhonia, if he found out that you're that woman. My son no longer stands a chance but knowing you, you won't tell him. But at least let him know he still has a chance with you because the man that sent you home that night, clearly he wouldn't have done that if he didn't care deeply about you.” Jhonia remembered words Mrs. Pinnock once said to her and looked up at the door then back at herself seeing his jacket tied around her waist! She looked over the cake and flowers then at her phone.

“But I'm okay. It was a mistake when I called him”

"You scared me to death, I have never been so happy to see someone okay."

Jhonia cut herself off remembering what Kyhe said. Suddenly the door open and Kyhe enter, Jhonia look up at him with tears in her eyes. Immediately Kyhe went over to her asking no question just hugged her.

He won't speak or he doesn't want to. Why isn't he asking what's wrong? Is it that he already knows why I'm like this, does he? He cares about me but for some reason if I decided to let you in I don't want you to know that I'm not his wife for real but only a contract. I feel like you would look at me the way you did when you learned that I was his wife, everything he does wrong you make right. Why do I feel so comfortable and relaxed with you, but we both know that as soon as the hug ends, so does the night and one day from now we have work and everything will go back to the way it was or should be. Jhonia thoughts.

“Mr. Knight!” Jhonia called and he ignored her.

“Mr. Knight?” Jhonia questioned his presence yet still he ignored her.

“Kyhe, did you suddenly lose your hearing?” Jhonia called him by his name and asked.

"Yes, for I told you outside of the office or when we are alone"

“I know. Is this why you weren't answering me?” Jhonia cut him off and said then asked still into his arms.

"Are you okay now?" Kyhe ignores her question and asks one.

“Yea. Thank you for rushing away from your business again to come to me, even so this time it was a mistake that i called but I'm glad you came. I'm sorry for scaring you to death, didn't know you care about me like this.” Jhonia responds to him and expresses her thanks for him dropping everything and coming for her, explaining it's her mistakes and her happiness that it happened. Kyhe pulled her back a little looking at her. Then she apologized and said meeting his gaze.

"I do care about you but we both know I shouldn't! I not only care about you"

Jhonia cut Kyhe off, placing her lips on his.

Just this once I'm going to risk it as a thank you for rushing to me after hearing me cry. Thank you Kyhe, for being something I might want or need but won't or never have. Jhonia thoughts.

"Your welcome. But you should really stop allowing him to hurt you like this, it's not fear not to you. You're stronger than this, Jhonia. I know and so do you." Kyhe said breaking their kiss as he was losing himself to her who made the first move on him. Jhonia looked at him with a smile.

“You should go.” Jhonia said and Kyhe looked at her with surprise.

"You are running me after what you just did? Jhonia you're so heartless." Kyhe asked, sounding hurt then said. Jhonia giggled and looked back at him, he lifted his hand putting her scattered hair behind her ear.

“I wasn't running you Mr. Knight.”Jhonia said and Kyhe dropped his hand from her face to his side and Jhonia smiled again.

“Kyhe you left your car on and it's not parked properly, and open.” Jhonia called him by his name and said to him, biting her lower lips before she gave a small smile while Kyhe stares at her

"I forgot about that! I should go and I will return!" Kyhe said, staring at her smile, then stated...!

“Hehe, yes this way you can help finish my mother's cake.” Jhonia pointed at the cake with a smile.
