Chapter 119: Chapter 119

The two of them wore pure white wedding dresses, then festive red dragon and phoenix robes, and finally went with casual matching outfits.

Their chemistry was the highest the photographer had ever seen in a couple, not to mention their looks and those gazes they shared—simply unmatched.

He clicked the shutter so much that his fingers nearly cramped, and the camera almost started smoking.

At noon, the manager of the bridal shop prepared some food and brought it over for a brief break.

They then continued to take family photos.

Finally, there was a solo artistic shoot for Serena Keaton.

By the time they finished, Serena was exhausted and didn’t want to take any more photos.

When the whole family arrived en masse, the manager waited at the door to welcome them, and personally escorted them out when they were leaving.

The photos would be ready for selection a week later, and the manager would personally bring them over to show first.

As soon as Serena got in the car, she collapsed in the seat.

But after sitting for a while, she took turns cuddling and kissing the two babies.

Elias Lancaster looked displeased—those two little rascals were always stealing his wife away from him.

Master Lancaster got jealous again.

A week later, the manager from the bridal shop came over with a work computer to let them choose the photos.

Old Madam Lancaster was looking at the photos they had taken and suddenly remembered that they also had an album with casual snapshots of Serena’s daily life.

She had brought it along while packing.

She thought of it, then immediately got up, went upstairs, rummaged through a suitcase, found the album, and brought it down.

She didn’t show it to Serena immediately, instead waiting until she had finished with the other photos before handing her the album.

Old Madam Lancaster smiled and said, "Serena, this album has some everyday photos of you. Do you want to take a look?"

She hoped that flipping through the album might help her recover some memories so they could get back to normal life sooner.

Serena nodded, took the album, and slowly opened it. The first photo was of her playing with the two little ones.

Serena flipped through each page, looking at every photo.

Each picture had her in it, but she couldn’t remember when any of these were taken.

Elias watched her, worry in his heart, wondering what he would do if Serena never regained her memory.

None of them expected that just an album could change everything.

The next day, Serena woke up in Elias Lancaster’s arms, feeling as if she’d forgotten something, her mind a jumbled mess.

"Baby, you’re awake!"

Elias kissed her on the cheek.

Serena stiffened, then pushed Elias away. "Elias Lancaster, stop being sleazy,"

Elias noticed that something seemed off about her.

"Baby, what’s wrong?" Elias asked.

"Stop calling me baby." Serena’s face turned serious.

Serena hmphed twice, "We’re not even in a relationship, so why are you calling me baby? You can’t do that."

Elias chuckled softly, "Baby, we got our marriage license, we’re legally married. The marriage certificate is in your hands."

Serena’s mouth twitched, "Marriage certificates can be faked nowadays, I don’t remember anything, you could be lying to me.

I’m not dumb enough to get married to you at twenty. Don’t think you can trick me into being your wife."

She looked at Elias’s face, and she had to admit, she was quite fond of that handsome look.

But people say that attractive men are the best at fooling others emotionally.

She wouldn’t fall for his tricks!

Elias’s face darkened—this wasn’t how Serena was supposed to be after losing her memory; this was quite different.

However, this Serena who had her own ideas seemed not bad at all.

She used to want to follow others’ opinions and never went through a rebellious phase. Now, this was good.

Except for one thing, which wasn’t good at all.

His beloved didn’t recognize him again, and that drove him crazy.

"Baby, what about our two kids?"

Serena paused for a moment before remembering there were also two adorable little ones.

She really liked them, but...

Elias watched her dazed expression and reached out a hand to stroke her hair.

But then he thought better of it. Now that she didn’t recognize him, touching her might make her angry, and if she ignored him, that would be terrible.

After pondering, Serena said, "Who knows where you got those two kids from, but out of the kindness of my heart, I can take care of them for now, but you can’t stay here. You have to leave."

She really liked those two adorable little ones.

They were just too cute.

Elias looked at her, "Baby, do you not want to acknowledge me?"

"I told you, stop calling me baby. We’re not dating, so don’t call me that." Serena pouted in a mock-angry way.

Elias thought she was just too adorable .

She didn’t have any real power to hurt anyone.

But he didn’t want to make her angry, so he followed along and said, "Okay, then what should I call you?"

Serena sighed, "Mr. Lancaster, please call me Miss Keaton from now on."

Every time this man called her baby, her heart would race uncontrollably.

That wasn’t good. She wouldn’t let someone lead her by the nose. She belonged to herself and had control.

If someone wanted to be with her, it wasn’t out of the question.

Pursue her properly, and if she agreed, then they could be together.

If he wasn’t sincere, she wouldn’t want to be with a liar.

That’s right, that’s how it was going to be.

Elias couldn’t help but burst out laughing.

His little sweetheart was so cute, even calling him Mr. Lancaster.

She really had no intention of recognizing him.

"Can I call you Serena?" Elias stepped back a little.

Serena shook her head firmly, "No, we’re not familiar enough for you to call me by my name. Only family can call me that. You should call me Miss Keaton."

Elias’s eyes were full of laughter that he couldn’t hide. He reached out his large hand, pulled her into his arms. "Miss Keaton, can we be together?"

Serena quickly broke free from his arms, "Mr. Lancaster, please behave."

"And if I don’t? Then what, baby?" The pet name slipped out naturally, as he was used to calling her that.

Serena was internally frantic, "Leave now. This is my room. Otherwise, I’ll call my dad and brother to throw you out."

She wanted to make Elias back off a little.

But she didn’t expect Elias to remain unafraid. "Baby, no one will come to save you."

He flipped over, pinned her beneath him, and kissed those rambling little lips.

Their lips met, and Serena’s eyes widened. How could this man be so brazen?

She’d already threatened to call her dad and brother, wasn’t he afraid?

Unable to break free and growing anxious, tears started to fall from her eyes.

As soon as the tears came, Elias was thrown off, quickly letting her go and gently wiping her tears, "Baby, don’t cry, I was wrong."

Serena took the opportunity to distance herself, tears still streaming down.

Elias was most afraid of her tears; he couldn’t bear to see them.

He didn’t expect that he’d be the one to make her cry. Get full chapters from 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡•𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚⚫𝙣𝙚𝙩

He had to soothe her gently, "Baby...Miss Keaton, it’s all my fault, I won’t touch you, don’t cry."

He forced himself to call her Miss Keaton.

As long as she stopped crying, he would comply with anything.

Serena spoke between sobs, "Leave my room immediately. Without my permission, don’t set foot in my room again."
