Chapter 114: Chapter 114
Elias Lancaster opened the room door and saw the person he had been longing for.
As soon as Serena saw his deep eyes, her heart inexplicably started pounding fast, "Morning."
Elias reached out, touched her face, "Morning, let’s go have breakfast."
He held Serena’s hand and led her downstairs, sitting down in front of the dining room.
At the table, her mom, dad, and brother also sat down.
Ruby Yates smiled and asked, "Serena, did you sleep well last night?"
Serena nodded, "I slept very well."
Hearing her soft and sweet voice, everyone felt happy.
The family joyfully ate breakfast together.
Serena picked up a dumpling and put it in her mouth, her cheeks puffing up, looking quite adorable.
The Keaton Family members looked at Serena, with pampering expressions in their eyes.
Their little princess had finally returned home. New ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄhapters are published on 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵※𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮※𝓷𝓮𝓽
After getting full, Serena sat on the sofa, watching the news.
Kian Keaton and Ronan Keaton didn’t want to go to the office.
But there was no choice; they had to work!
Elias saw Serena, who was working on design drafts, and told her he had something to go out for.
He personally drove to pick up Old Madam Lancaster and the two children.
When he took Yuri from the nanny, he looked at the little one in his arms with affection.
A few days without seeing them, he indeed missed these little rascals a bit.
If darling saw the two kids, she should be very happy.
"Mom, sorry for the trouble." Elias apologized.
Old Madam Lancaster shook her head, "I’m fine, let’s go quickly, I miss Serena."
Not seeing Serena for days, the image of her at the hospital, covered in blood, kept appearing in her mind, making her uneasy.
She needed to see her and ensure she was okay to feel at ease.
Elias said nothing more, and, along with his mother and the children’s nanny, got in the car, heading to the J Keaton Family home.
When Elias brought them back to the J Keaton Family home, Serena was taking a nap, her face rosy.
Old Madam Lancaster exchanged greetings with Ruby Yates and entrusted the two kids to their care.
Ruby Yates started playing with her two grandsons.
"Yara, Yuri, did you miss Grandma?" Ruby Yates kissed their little cheeks, "My two little darlings, Grandma missed you so much."
Old Madam Lancaster walked over to Elias, "Take me to see Serena."
It had been several days since she last saw her.
"She’s taking a nap," Elias said.
"Take me to see, I won’t disturb her." Old Madam Lancaster wanted to see her, even if she was asleep, just a glance to ensure her well-being.
Elias glanced at Ruby Yates.
"Go quickly, take the in-law to see her."
Only then did he respond, and took his mother upstairs.
Arriving at the room’s doorway, he gently pushed open the door, afraid of waking the person inside, and led his mother in quietly.
Indeed, Old Madam Lancaster barely dared to breathe laboriously, smiling as she looked at the room decorated like a princess’s.
The room was nicely decorated in pink; she decided to redecorate their room when they returned home.
The two walked quietly to the bed, where Old Madam Lancaster looked at the person she had not seen for days, her eyes full of tenderness.
She leaned gently, seeing Serena sleeping soundly, her complexion rosy, evidently recovering well.
The smile at the corner of her mouth couldn’t be suppressed.
She reached out and gently caressed Serena’s cheek, her eyes filled with the same affection as if looking at her own child.
Serena was the little princess of the J Keaton Family, as well as a treasured member of the Lancaster Family.
Serena, sensing someone touching her face, found it comfortable and unconsciously nuzzled a little.
Old Madam Lancaster’s heart softened considerably.
After a little while, afraid of waking her, she reluctantly left the room with Elias.
"When will Serena wake up?"
She was eager to chat with Serena.
Elias checked the time, "Soon."
The little darling typically woke around this time from her nap.
Old Madam Lancaster cheerfully said, "Then I’ll go and fetch Yara and Yuri, so that when Serena wakes up, she can see them, she’ll surely love it!"
"Alright." Elias followed her downstairs, carrying the two kids back up.
By this time, Yara and Yuri were awake from their nap, giggling as their grandmother played with them.
Elias and his mother each held a child and reentered Serena’s room, gently placing the two kids beside her.
One on each side, to accompany Serena.
The two kids smelled their mother’s scent, their eyes lit up, babbling and crawling towards Serena.
Elias reached out to pick them up but was stopped by his mother.
She softly said, "It’s fine; Serena will wake up soon."
Elias, knowing that Serena had adequate sleep these days and was recovering well, withdrew his hand.
The two little ones on the bed crawled to their mom’s hands and sat, with Yara kissing Serena’s face and Yuri reaching out a little hand to touch his mom’s cheek.
Since the accident, Yara and Yuri could call mom and dad; they hadn’t seen their mom for days.
Missing her so much, the moment they saw her, they called out this title.
Serena seemed to hear two soft voices, like that of little babies’; the sound was somewhat familiar.
She opened her eyes to see Yara’s face.
Yara, upon seeing his mom looking at him, joyfully snuggled her face, calling, "Mommy..."
Yuri also edged closer, "Mommy..."
Serena, who had just woken up, was a bit stunned.
She widened her eyes, staring at the two cute, delicate little babies, just like the ones in the wedding video.
She sat up, looking at the little ones on her, unsure what to do with her hands and feet.
She glanced around and quickly saw Elias standing by the bed, instinctively seeking his help.
She called out helplessly, "Uncle..."
Elias smiled, "Darling, you’re awake."
Old Madam Lancaster couldn’t help but laugh.
Serena yet again called Elias uncle.
Even with amnesia, she didn’t forget that title.
Old Madam Lancaster reached out and caressed her face.
Serena then noticed another person standing beside Elias, exuding kindness, making one want to draw close.
The little ones’ voice gained her attention again, and she looked down at the two babies, her mind clearing as she noticed their exquisite features.
She reached out naturally, placing one baby on each leg, looking at them and then at Elias.
"Uncle, you resemble them! Whose are they? They’re so cute!"
"They’re mine," Elias directly replied.
Serena looked incredulous, her mouth twitching, thinking: Is dad asking me to be their stepmom?
