Chapter 6: Chapter 6
As Evans stares at me with those piercing blue eyes, my hands start to perspire, and my heart starts to beat more quickly. I take a moment and then I say, "I'm sorry." "You must believe I'm stupid," she said.
He replies, "Something like that," but keeps a tiny smile on his face.
Because the child wouldn't be biologically mine, I was just alright with this. Just carrying it was going to do. The baby will be a part of me if you utilize one of my eggs, though. There will be blood there—mine. That matters to me, although I realize that may sound silly.
I was questioned, "Why did you apply for Growing Generations?"
I remained silent for a moment. I don't need to speak with him. I don't know this man. Unknown to me, he won't even reply to my messages. I say in a low voice, "I don't want to do this." You probably don't want to hear that, but it's the truth.
You're in it for the cash, then, he says with a nod. I know I don't want the money for anything wrong, but the way he says it makes me feel like a bad person who is trying to sell my body. I am selling myself. Is this evidence that I'm a bad person? My father is everything I want to help.
"My dad needs money, and my family is in need." He joins me in standing, and I sigh while shaking my head. I believed this to be the solution, but I'm not sure I can carry it out. I'm sorry. To move in the direction of the door, I turn.
I will double your payment.
I halt. "What?"
I will double your payment.
"Why? Backwards Image Search
Evans looks at me with piercing blue eyes, and my heartbeat quickens as my palms start to perspire. I hesitate before saying, "I'm sorry." You must think I'm stupid, she said.
He responds, "Something like that," sporting a little grin.
Since the child would not be biologically mine, I was totally fine with it. It would simply need to be carried. But if you utilize one of my eggs, the child will be my child. My stuff will be there. That may sound silly, but to me it's important.
"What motivated you to apply to Growing Generations? someone asks me.
I kept quiet for a moment. I'm not trying to talk to him for any reason. I've never met this dude. He is an unknown person who won't even respond to my inquiries. I say in a low voice, "I don't want to do this." Even though you probably don't want to hear that, that is the truth.
He nods while saying, "So you're in it for the money then,"
Despite the fact that I know I don't need the money for anything unethical, the way he says it makes me feel bad and as though I'm trying to sell my body. I'm attempting to market myself. Is this evidence that I am a bad person? My father and my family are in need, therefore I want to do whatever I can to help them. I sigh and shake my head as he stands next to me. Even though I initially believed this to be the solution, I'm not sure I can carry it out. Sadly once more. I turn and move in the direction of the door.
I'll give you twice as much money.
I halt. I retorted, "What?" "I'll double the amount you pay."
"Why?" I mutter something when I finally turn to face him. Is he sincere this time? By increasing the amount required to pay off the growing medical debt, the money would already have a substantial impact on the circumstances of my family.
He approaches as he approaches me in front. Although it may sound strange, you satisfy the criteria I had for a surrogate. I would prefer that a decent woman—one who is childless and single—carry my child. You are perfect. He continues to stare at me for a brief moment. Miss Damien, I have money, therefore that is not the issue i am at a loss for words. What makes a man like him want a child, though? Even though he is a new acquaintance, he seems to be a prosperous businessman who merely returns home to sleep. Why have kids? Why in particular, me? There are a lot of other childless, single ladies like myself. He is, however, making a big cash offer to me. I have the chance to provide financial support for my family.
I finally respond, "I'll think about it."
Evans digs into his back pocket and pulls out the cash. He hands me a small card after opening the envelope. When you decide, kindly give me a call.
"I will."
We continued to stand there for a while, looking at one another. I nod once more before putting my hand on the doorknob.
Damien, Sir?
Evans had his foot out the door when I turned around to see him. "Yes?"
The man confesses, "I'm a very impatient person." Make sure you move quickly. who will not even let me question him. I sigh to myself, "I don't want to do this." Despite the fact that I know you probably don't want to hear it, it's the truth.
