Chapter 119: Chapter 119

CIARA'S POV.

I turned in bed, a yawn escaped my lips as I pulled up my eyelids which got heavier by the minute, I was a mess.

I got attacked by a heavy migraine as I sat up in bed, cautiously my eyes darted around, Evans was not in the room, a frown formed on my face as I set to my feet's, I walked slowly over to Alfred's spot, he was still asleep.

Then I headed up for the entrance and braced myself up for the worst as I pushed open the doors.

He had not slept in last night, he was probably up busy with some other issues of the sneaky ass mother in law of mine, she was old, wealthy but lacked the one thing called self respect and most times, on intervals I knew all it was that she did, she has done on purpose, her son knew it, he saw the truth to it as well.

He probably was just covering for his mother because I needed a sensible, tangible reason why his mother pooped outta nowhere all out late at night and had no intention of being honest with me either ways, but she claimed she had wanted to clear all trouble an missed her son after showing up in our driveway several minutes past nine at night.

.however, I stopped at my feet, beware of the whole issue at hand.

I got an unsettling feelings at the pit of my belly as I watched them both, it was evans and some woman in leather pants and a blue shirt, her hair trimmed carefully into a bob, she has glasses on and a set of dangling earrings which fell to her shoulders, it had done the most, it made me somewhat insecure judging by how I looked.

.

What was a hot stranger doing in my home at such an early time, but then again as soon as I shifted my eyes up against the windows I realized there was nothing so nothing about it' the sun was already up I had made myself a fool yet again, I woke late.

It must have been a sleeping pill I used when I had waited up for him anxiously. I had gotten no more words, nothing at all. I waited for his apology, for him to walk after me, but then eventually I popped the pill and fell asleep.

“oh, you are awake?. '' He called out to me, seeming as if he had not seen me standing right over and obviously made a fool of me by calling the attention of the drop dead gorgeous stranger who had smiled on me.

“That's her?.” the lady asked Evans who nodded and turned back to face her .

“That's all for now, we'll move this up to my office…it's a clubhouse, perhaps tonight, and you can begin. Bring a Friend, maybe a man if you don't feel comfortable enough?.'' Evans asked if she could.

She nodded and then shook his hands with her, I remained dumbfounded as I remained joined to the spot and the word kept on playing in a continuous loop in my head.

“I'll bring a friend, preferably a woman, but then it's better that we can make certain choices right after the drinks' ' she added in, turned towards me, smiled and bowed slightly before walking out of the room.

Nothing was making sense to me, I had been thrown into darkness, my very source of happiness prolonged right off from my very own eyes,

“What's that?, no…. Wrong question, do pardon me… how about I ask this way, what is it that you feel I know about and still said nothing to me?.” I asked, my gaze lifted as I tried keeping my voice cool fn calm, knowing how soon things could get a drastic turn of events,

But then I needed to act cool, there were lots of things going on and around that I had not a single idea about, there was a sensible explanation for a lot I had seen or heard.

“good morning, and where is alfred?.'' Evans responded as he chose to ignore my questions completely acting like he and not noticed the fiery which built up inside of me.

“Now tell me, what exactly is it that is going on and I have not a single idea about?.” I asked yet again, the more he held onto his silence the more I got bitter about it.

“you all have gone on both ends, gone quite too far enough to sum up all the audacity that you and your mother had, so you have to tell me that your mother came up last night, brought up an argument on purpose.

Brought a wife up to you or whoever that god damned strangeris while I was asleep and I'm guessing knowing the overburdened heavy sleeper I am you both didn't quite get the time I would have woken,

You know what, I'm done! I can't do this anymore, not with you, not with that pride infested mother of yours, not with anything about your family name not anymore.” I yelled as he remained to his feets stuck to a spot.

“what is wrong with you ciara?, what have you been up to?, this is all , you've got it all wrong.” he complained and proceeded forward towards me, leaving me somewhat bitter and utterly confused.

“oh please, no more of your lies okay, what it is that all about?, the lady you brought, talking about the meetings? A comfortable time, whatever else it is you have coupled all up in your mind!”

I demanded an explanation, from him immediately, I didn't like how he was taking the whole thing down another route and made me believe I was actually going insane quote on purpose.

“that was not it, oh please don't tell me you've let my mother get into your head now have you?,” he asked as he pulled closer to me.

“get this right, you talk to me now! You have two bloody options, you either walk away from me easily right now or you get the bloody hell of a mind blowing explanation to clear out all the mess I had witnessed right now!.”
