Chapter 4
“Was it fun to follow me?", said Rose.
The man tried to get rid of those strong hands but he could not and there came a sound, "who is there?”.
Rose suddenly changes the position of being a victim by taking the man’s hand in her own neck.
The man that arrived was none other than police officer Cian.
The man who was grabbing the neck of Rose was still shocked from all of the hand movements and did not get a chance to run away.
Cian grabbed the man’s hand and asked, "Are you alright Miss?”.
“Yes I am alright”,said Rose.
“ I am a police officer and Miss you have to go to the police station for some formalities", said Cian.
“Okay", said Rose.
In police station
Cian sits in his chair and gestures his hand to take a seat to Rose.
Cian,”miss we need your information and what had happened just now”.
“Well I was walking alone and he followed me and grabbed my neck", said Rose, trembling.
Cian ,”Miss water”,offered water to Rose, but Rose didn't take it.
Cian,”Your name and your guardian number so we could tell your guardian to pick you up”.
The man who was arrested was locked in the cell and he started to yell,”I am the victim here and you are keeping me behind this bar, she was the one who grabbed my neck when I followed her”.
Cian raised his eyebrows, "You follow her and you are telling you are a victim”.
“I-I just followed her to rob her but she grabbed my neck and nearly choked me to death”.
Kein, ”how could you blame her, because of you she is trembling her”.
No one believes his word. Rose told her name and gave Bred's number to the police officer. After a while Bred came and was relieved to see Rose not being any hurt.
He stood behind Rose and directly asked the police officer, "where is the culprit?”.
Cian pointed out to the cell and said,”Right over there”.
“OH, so you are the one who tried to hurt her”, said Bred and started to walk towards the cell. He gets close to him and his eyes color changes from brown to red in just a second which makes the thief scared to death. He has never seen a person who can change their eye color in just a second. He backs a little and points his finger to a man standing against him with red eyes and says,”h-his eyes color change”.
Rose runs towards Bred and holds his hands to calm down and Bred looks over Rose and Rose whispers to him, "relax, it's not good”. Then only Bred returns back to normal and Cian has also arrived there and asked the thief, "What are you blabbering?”.
“His eyes change to red just now, just look at him", said the man.
Cian looked towards Bred but his eyes color was brown and said to them, "you can go”.
Rose and Bred both nodded and left the police station.
After they left, the man inside the cell still protested that he was the one who was about to choke and that the tall man's eyes color changed. He tells them a hundred times. Kein sees Cian thinking of something and asks, "do you believe what he is saying?”.
Cian didn't answer the question of Kein but he feels like there is something wrong that he could not figure out. Then he diverts the topic, "Is there any progress in those last cases?”. “No sir, we are still looking for the clues”, said Kein.
Cian,”Okay let’s focus in this case, we should not let that murderer hang around freely like this in society”.
“Yes sir", said Kein.
They started to look for the clues that they might get and solve the case.
The car is parked outside Rose house and Bred didn’t say anything from outside the police station to Rose house. Rose calmly said, "You should not have done that”.
“I was so worried when I got a call from the police station, I know nothing will happen to you but I can’t think straight and when I see the face of that man it makes me want to punch him and because of anger my eyes change", said Bred.
Rose, "Nothing will happen to me and let’s not say this to Dia and Rain otherwise he will not let me go outside alone”.
“You still dare to walk outside after all this", said Bred.
Rose didn't say anything, she just smiled. Bred sighed.
“Is everything done for tomorrow's party? ”said Rose.
“Yes everything is done ,my lord", said Bred by leaning his head down.
“That’s good then", said Rose and they both giggled.
After that she left car and went inside the house and Bred also left after that
The sun rises and the new day starts. She wakes up and takes a shower and looks after the documents.
In police station
Cian tall Kein to let that man go. Kein went there by taking key of the lock and open it and tell; "we are letting you leave because you have not stole anything from her and she even call us to let you go so don’t do ever like this again we are just giving you warning this time”.
The man said, "What, she tried to pity me when she should be the one inside the cell”.
“Why are you still stuck to this, how can such a delicate person do that and even when she was in the police station, she didn’t even drink water because she was so scared", said Kein.
They both walked towards the desk and the man signed the register and before he left he still stuck to his words and said about the eye color changing thing also. After telling all this and seeing there was no sign of any police officer to have a little faith towards his words, he can’t do anything rather than to leave because no one was believing him and he felt that they might even sent him to the mental hospital as he was telling the same thing repeatedly and the words he say might make him look like a mental person because there is no human who can change their eye color in a second. He left thinking he was kind of lucky to meet the police officer in time. Otherwise he feels he won’t be here today walking in the road because that woman will already have choked him to death.
He thinks of not thinking of this thing and tries to find any kind of work and live a good life rather than dying in someone’s hand. He gets goosebumps just thinking of this and starts to look for a job.
Cian was pondering over the thing that the man told but this was not the time to look for other things, it was time to look over the case that they were having.
