Chapter 23

In human world

Dia said, ”huh”. Dia knows that she was his crush but she never thought that he would confess.

Kein said, ”Actually I liked you when we met in the P.L.company for the first time. I thought it was just a crush but now I know it was more than crush. It was love at first sight. I never knew I would like anyone until I saw you”.

Seeing Dia was not replying he continued in a confident face,

” I won’t say you are the most beautiful in these two worlds but I can definitely say that you are the most beautiful in my eyes.

I won’t say you are the moon fallen from the sky but I can definitely say there is a brightness of the moon when you smile”.

Then Dia smiled a little bit by listening to this line but it was just a slight smile that kein didn't see as he knelt his head down after saying this.

Dia said, ”you know I am not human”.

Kein looked back at Dia and said,”I do know”.

Dia said, ”you know that I can drink your blood”.

Kein nodded.

Dia said, ”Can you die for me?”. She grabs Kein's neck, well not that tightly and not using much force.

Kein slightly widened his eyes and went back to his normal self and said,”I can but I don't want to because I want to spend most of the time with you and I don't want to have any regrets when I leave this world”.

Kein didn't struggle a little bit also and continued, ”but if there comes a day when I have to die for you in order to save you then I won't even think a second before dying for you”.

Dia looked straight in his eyes but she could not see any doubt in his eyes nor could she hear any mumbling word of his. After confirming that it was all true she took her hand back from his neck. She was really happy that someone liked her and even though he was kind of annoying she could not hate her, she really liked his sincerity and she really liked that even knowing her true identity he was still willing to like her. She thought of giving this a chance but she didn't want to say it right now. It was not the right time as they have to deal with the case and she will tell it after solving the case and until that she will also be sure. After thinking all this she just said, ”that day wont come”, and patted his shoulder.

Kein listened to her words and before he could day, there came a sound “ahem”.

They both looked towards the source of sound and saw Rain was standing there wearing a suit and putting his hand in his pant’s pocket .he actually listened to everything they were talking about and just didn't disturb them.

He went straight towards them and said,”let’s go and take this body up to car, it’s getting late, it will be troublesome if someone sees it”.

He didn't ask them about what he had listened to and he acted like he hadn't heard anything. Rain picked up the vampire's body and said, ”Kein helped me with carrying him”.

Kein said,”okay”.

He was really glad that he could help his brother-in-law. His thoughts were listened to by Dia and she could not help but move her head left and right and sighed. They put the body in the car and Rain and the body was in one car whereas Dia and Kein were in one car.

They left the park and soon reached the house of Dia and Rain. Their house was also far from the neighborhood side and the house was alone like Rose's house. The gate opened automatically and they went inside the gate and went straight to the garage side. Rain stopped the car and took steps outside the car and opened the locked garage by entering the password. The password was “17198”. The garage was opened and he again went inside the car and started the car and drove the car inside the garage. Dia also followed Rain car.

The garage was closed after then.

They parked their car and took the body inside the secret basement. The basement was large and was bright. He made the faint vampire sit in the chair and his hand and leg were locked with metal in the chair. When Kein saw that he had locked the vampire with metal, he wanted to ask why he was doing that but before he could ask, Dia said, ”Vampire has strong strength compared to human and that rope will be of no use and if he came in sense then he will surely attack you as you are human”.

Kein didn't let go of this chance and said, ”you really are my soulmate as you knew what i was thinking and answered before I could ask you”.

Dia wanted to tell that it was not because she was his soulmate or not but the point why she could listen to his thoughts was because she had the power to listen to the thoughts of humans. Dia thought for a moment and decided not to tell him as it was fun to listen to his thoughts even though it was kind of wrong to listen to his ‘boyfriend’....ahem “ working partner”. She said, ”are you free tomorrow?”.

Kein said,”I don't know but I can take a leave if…..we are going to meet”.

Dia said, ”Are you sure officer Kein?”.

Kein saluted her and said,”yes miss”.

Dia blushed and laughed after this. Kein had first seen her smile like this by his words. Before when they used to work, she just asked him about the work and not talk about other matters but now it was different. He looked down and thanked Arin in his heart for giving him advice and he should definitely treat him.

Dia was listening to his thoughts and was smiling more. If kein sees this smile then he would give treat to Arin not only one time but for a lifetime. He will pay for his food every time.

Rain said, ”do you want anything kein and are you alright?”.

Then only they remembered that Rain was still there. Kein said,”no no i am alright, Ms.Dia came to rescue me in time so I am fine”.

Rain nodded and said, ”you can take a seat wherever you want”.

Kein looked around and took his seat in the corner as this basement had sofa all over the hall.

Dia sits with Kein if anything goes wrong then she could help him. Rain saw that his little sister was not sitting with him but with others, he didn't say anything now.

Rain was sitting just at the front of the vampire who was sitting in the chair, fainted.

After some time he slowly opened his eyes and when he opened his eyes the figure that he saw in front of him now was none other than “the judge of the vampire world who gives punishment to all the vampires”. Rain works were like a high court judge of the human world court. That vampire could not believe his eyes and when he wanted to rub his eyes he found that his hands and legs were all locked with metal in the chair.

He said trembling,”ju-judge Rain”.

Rain was sitting on the sofa by crossing his legs and smiling and said, ”hello Ax”, by waving his hand.

Ax had a bad feeling, whenever the judge smiled there was something bad going to happen. He remembered the time when there was a huge conflict between two vampires and the one who had started to fight and kill the other vampire was sent to the Judge place where Lord and minister and some other people were there and of course he was also there.

After getting all the information between those two vampires and finding that the one who killed was in the bad position. Lord didn't say anything and the punishment was under the judge who was obviously Rain. Rain didn't kill him but he went straight to that vampire and said something in his ear and went back to his seat and smiled. When Rain sat and smiled, the vampire who was found guilty killed himself with his sharp nails brutally and the case was closed.

The main thing was that the smile he is seeing in front of him is the same smile he saw last time. After that time everyone was so scared of Rain that they wished even if they made a mistake please let them be killed or punished by the Lord because it was more good to be killed by others rather than killing yourself.

Ax came back to his senses.

Rain said directly with a straight voice that was not joking like the previous tone, ”for whom you are working for?”.

Ax said,”no no one”.

Rain said,”so you're telling me you are on your own and you killed the human”.
