Chapter 16

Rain thought about what Sarlist had just said and he knew what he was talking about. He said, ”The world we have connection with is only the human world. It’s the only world where we can have connection with”.

Sarlist said, ”That's correct, Rain. You really are the genius and sure the main judge of our vampire world”.

Dia smiled proudly when she heard her brother’s praise.

Rose said, ”but the human world is not small and how can we find the pen in the whole world. It’s like finding gold in dessert which is impossible”.

Bred said, ”Dad, there must be something or some clue regarding it”.

Sarlist said,”I know where the pen is now”.

Rose said, ”where is it?”.

Sarlist said by standing up, ”let me take you there”.

It was a night in the human world. Sarlist takes them to a villa, in that area less people used to live. He knocked on the door of that villa. The door was opened after some time, there was a middle aged man in the door. He saw Sarlist and said, ”please come in”.

They entered the house and were looking right and left of the house. The house was decorated really highly. Small cup with plants in it was hanging on the wall which gives the room a fresh style.

The man's name was Serlam ,”how come you are here at this hour?”.

Sarlist laughed and said, ”if vampires will not come in the late hour then they will come in the broad daylight”.

Serlam also smiled and said ,”that’s true that’s true”.

Serlam gestured to all of them to sit on the sofa and they all took their seats. Sarlist and Serlam sit on a single sofa and Bred, Rose, Rain and Dia sit together on a large sofa. They were easily fitted in that sofa as it was really large and its color was black.

Sarlist said, ”she is the Lord of the vampire world”, by showing his hand towards Rose which was opposite of him.

Serlam smiled and said, ”she looks really young”.

Bred, Rain, Dia and even Rose were thinking “young”.

She was more than 300 years old. She felt she was also older than this man’s grandparents. But also she squeezed out a smile when he said this.

Sarlist smiled and said, ”well she is not that young”.

Then Serlam finds that every vampire will look young even if they are more than 200 years old.

Sarlist came to the point now, ”we are here to take a thing that your ancestors have passed you generation to generation”.

Serlam said,”okay, let's go there”.

After he said this, he stood up and gestured to them to follow him and in the corner of the hall there was a painting. He slides that painting and there appears a secret door in it. He opened the door with the key that he was wearing as a locket. They went through this secret door. They were not surprised when they saw this secret room because they had just gone to the secret library and it was normal to have a secret room in the human world as well. They knew about that and they also had a secret room in their own house where they used to live in the hitman world.

The stairs take them downward. The room was like a storage room .he had put it this way so that even if someone comes then they will leave right away if they see a storage room as they will think ‘what will be there in this storage room’.

He opened the drawer which was full of dust, not only the drawer but everything was filled with dust in there. He took out a pen from there and handed it to Sarlist.

After that they went upstairs in the hall. Everybody takes their seat and Sarlist watches the pen. The pen was normal like other pens. The pen was a double pin pen, the color was silver and the golden color was a border in it. He opened the pen bit by bit. First he opens the cap of the pen and then the down cover of the pen. When he opened the cover downward, he tapped it on the desk and the paper fell down. They never thought that a paper would fall down from the cover of the pen.

They wished that ‘please let it not be blank like the previous one’.

He opened the paper and he sighed after opening it. They all think it was blank except Serlam because he didn't know about the previous one.

Dia said, ”uncle, is it blank like the previous one?”.

Sarlist said,”no, it isn't blank like the previous one. There is something written in it”.

Bred said,”what is it, Dad?”.

Sarlist said,”the place where neither human or vampire lives, nor sunlight can reach, not a single thing can become extinct”.

They all pondered and tried to guess about the place in their heart. After some time, they all looked at each other and said in unison, ”it’s a beast world”.

When they say the name correctly the paper shines, everybody's attention is on shiny paper now. Sarlist saw some other words to be poured out in the paper. He said,”the paper has something more written in it”.

Rose said, ”What is it written Uncle?”.

He said by putting it down on a desk, ”you have said the name correctly and you can reach there when you touch this paper and say that name again but…. There is one condition”.

They listened and they also looked down and read it. Dia said, ”but what’s the condition?”.

Rain said,”it is in the human world so this condition must be related to the human world”.

Dia said,”what if it said, it needs the human world”, looking at the direction of Serlam.

Rose said,”I don't think it will make those requests”.

Bred said, ”and it has always been guarded by humans so it won't let them pay with their life”.

Rain said,”let’s wait until the words pop out in the paper”.

They all nodded and started to watch the paper if something written in it would be shown to them. After 10 minutes, the paper shone again and the words were, ”the condition is you must have a human with you while going in this world”.

They all see humans clearly written in it. The main problem is not going to the next world but the main problem is who they should take them with.

Rose said, ”who should we take, we don't have any connection with humans?”.

Rain siad, ”there is no one in our company who could handle this”.

Bred said, ”and the first thing is they should know about who we are and it will be really troublesome if they can't keep their mouth shut”.

Rose said,”it’s not good to know about our origin”.

Dia said,”so we need someone who can help us and know about our identity, then how about you go with us Mr.serlam”.

Before he could say, Rain said,”he is human and he also knows the true identity of us but it's not good if he goes there. What if he can't tackle the consequences over there”.

Serlam listened to this and nodded his head and said, ”even if I can't go I can send my son with you”.

Bred said,”what work does he do?”.

Serlam said,”he is a police officer and he won't say no to my words”.

Sarlist said, ”that’s good then how about you call him right now and to come home fast?”.

Serlam said,”okay, I will call my son”.

He took out his phone from his pocket and dialed his son's number and called. After three rings the call was connected. Serlam said,”come home fast, it’s an emergency”.

From the other side, ”okay, I will be right back”.

On the other side of the phone, the person who answered the call said,”I have to go now to watch the case”.

His colleague said,”I will also go there please sir”.

The person who answered the phone thought for a while and said,”okay”.

In serlam house.

Serlam said after hanging up the phone, ”he is coming”.

Sarlist said,”how about we saw the photo of him”.

Serlam said,”okay”. He went straight towards the small table and picked the frame and showed them, ”this is my son”.

Bred,Rain,Rose and Dia saw the photo and their eyes widened and said, ”this……”.

Serlam saw the face of them and said,”it looks like you know him”.

Then Dia smiled and looked towards Serlam and said,”we actually know him a little bit”.

Serlam said, "that's great then, it will be easy to work together”.
