The pendant

Chapter 1

14 June,1721 A.D.

The night where most of them do not want to come has arrived, the new lord will be taking over the world of vampires. New rules will be added and must be implemented and the one who goes over the rule will be punished. Every kind of vampire is present in the palace, the palace with dim light in it and anger inside most of the vampires because they themselves wanted to rule but now they have to follow under the new lord.

“Now the time has arrived to call our new lord”, said the minister. All of the vampires started to clap.

The dim light went out and the sound of the heel could be heard getting closer and closer and the sound stopped, the lights got on with a clap. Now there was a lady standing in the podium with long black hair wearing a prince dress that is full of white color and golden in the borderline of the coat with ruby as a button in it. She was wearing boots with heels on them of white color. But they could not see her face because she had put a mask that covered up to nose and could only see her eyes and the lips that were red.

“I Rose, the only daughter of lord Briski, is now taking over this world as my father would want me to and let us get along well together", said with a strong and confident voice.

“As I am the new lord, my every word will be rule but for now the rule that will be taken over is we the vampires will not kill humans and if anyone tries to break this then the punishment will only be death”. “So is there anyone who is unsatisfied with this", said while watching her hands.

Then suddenly one vampire throws a sharp knife towards her, the knife flies straight towards her eye and before it touches her eye, she stops the knife by grabbing it.

She smirked,”If I remember I just told all of you to get along well and just after a few seconds you start to attack me”. She threw the knife and it hit the floor with the sound ’clang’. She saw that vampire and without grabbing his neck, she made him float in the air with just a motion of her hand and glared right at him, "should I make you pay for what you did or should I give you a chance”. He touched his neck and said in a cracked voice,” I -I am s-so-sorry my lord , I just act out on impulse, please please forgive me”. She lets her hand down and he falls to the ground after she releases him. He started to kneel, "Thank you lord”.

Then she walks towards the door (everyone eyes sticking to her without letting out any sound) and before she steps out from the door line, she turns her face a little bit to the right and smiles, "It will be hard to kill an immortal vampire”. “The ceremony is over and you all may leave”, said the minister.

Everyone was stunned and started to gossip with each other. "did you see that smile before she left”, said A. “It was like she was taunting us”, said d. All of them leave the palace with lots of gossip.

After 300 years

“What did you do in your presentation that you didn't even get a contract”, said Mr.K.K. in an angry voice.

“Sorry sir, we have done our best but we could not get it”, said manager Ted.

“So who got the contract”, said Mr.K.K.

“It’s P.L. Company", said the manager

In P.L. company

“So today our president is coming to the company, "said one of the workers.

“It's the first time a president has come since the company was established", said another worker.

In the gate of the company all of the workers are there to welcome the president.

The black car stops in front of the gate and the bodyguard comes first to open the door, then a lady comes out of the car in a black suit and a black goggles.

The head manager walked in front of her, ”welcome president”.

She takes off her goggles and smiles a little bit, "thank you”.

“Ahem, Ms. Rose welcome”, said vice president Rain.

Rose walked straight towards Rain and said in a stern face, "you didn't even bring me flowers to welcome me and you are also late than head manager”.

Everyone was shocked by seeing the president's stern face and even started to think she might be strict.

“Sorry for my mistake, we just got a new contract so I was a little late", said Rain.

“Hehe, I am just joking”, said rose.

“I know that so I was just going with the play”,said rain.

After this they both laugh and hug each other.

“You all may go to work”, said rain.

“Yes sir”, all of the workers went to do their job.

In president office

“It's good that you finally decided to come in company rather than to stay in the palace alone”, said rain.

“Yes you are right master”,said Rose, giving a salute to Rain.

“You are just like when we were children, if anybody sees you acting like this, they might think you are not the same lord that they see with a straight face”, said Rain, smiling.

“Let's forget about the palace when we are in the human world”, said Rose with a low voice.

Late at night the woman was returning from the office and going home, walking alone on a narrow road. She starts to feel uneasy as it feels like she is being followed. She turned back and there was no one. She again walked and again felt there was someone behind her. She started to run as fast as she could, wishing she could reach home or meet someone who could help her. Her face was full of sweat and she hid in a small place thinking she could be safe if she hid. Long after when she could not see any person who was behind her, she started to feel at ease and think it was just her imagination. She came out from her hiding place and sighed. Before she could take one step she heard right beside her ear, "you finally came out”. Her breath was stopped, heart was beating so fast and she turned her head slowly.

She screamed, ”ahhhhhhh”.
