Chapter 66: Chapter 66
Traizle
"Wife, have you watched or read the news today?" Zarsuelo asked worriedly.
"What about it?" I asked back.
He hesitated to tell me. How cute.
"Don't worry about it. We can tell them about us." I told him.
"You knew?" He asked. "Are you sure?" He added.
I nodded. "It is time to tell them about us, too," I answered. "You are one of the well-known people. They are interested in your life. I am just worried that it may affect the company." I added.
"Don't worry too much about it, wife. Those clients who may back out will regret it afterward, and we won't let them enter our company again. It's their loss, not ours," he explained. "I am worried you will get mad if you know about the news. I am happy to hear those things from you." he added.
I am happy that I can make him happy with my little decisions.
"I should tell them I have a girlfriend," he said. "I am so excited about it!" He exclaimed happily.
The news about us, especially me, spread within an hour. We both read the comments, whether they are good or bad.
"I should report this comment of hers!" Zarsuelo stood beside me, reporting the girl who had said something negative about me.
"Let her say what she wanted to say. Everybody has the freedom to express their opinions." I told him.
"Yes, she has freedom, but she shouldn't say something foul to a person. Are you prettier than she is? How can she call you ugly? Should I put her in jail? I am mad." he added.
After that, the call came in continuously. Most of them are reporters, and I am glad that none of our clients decided to back out. Zarsuelo answered them all. He did not want me to answer them.
I stopped walking when I felt my phone vibrate.
It's Mr. Andrade, my Dad. I have been practicing calling him my dad in my mind these days.
"Traizle? The news has gone out already. Were you at the company?" My dad asked.
"Ah yes, I am at the company. You don't have to worry too much about it." I told him.
"Glad you are okay. My sons, except for Layzen, kept calling me to check on you," Dad answered. "Can I see you for a minute? I am outside." he added.
Is he outside already?
"Wait for me there. I will be there in a second," I answered before I ended the call. I quickly ran to the entrance and saw my dad waiting outside. "Mr. Andrade!" I called him.
Dad smiled as soon as he saw me. I waited for him beside Tyler.
"Good morning, Sir." Tyler greeted him.
"Good morning." Dad answered.
"Ah, wait," I interrupted. "Mr. Andrade, I want you to meet Tyler. He is my friend." I introduced Tyler to my dad.
Tyler looked at me, perplexed why I was introducing him to Mr. Andrade, my father.
"Hi, Tyler. Nice to meet you." dad said.
"It is nice to meet you too, Mr. Andrade." Tyler answered, even though he was confused.
"He is my Dad, Tyler. That is why I want you to meet him." I told him.
"What?" Tyler said. "You are his daughter?" He added, stuttering.
"Yes, I am his Dad." Dad replied.
"Why did you not tell me about this? I should have taken good care of you more!" Tyler joked. "Hi, Sir. I helped her to find out her feelings for our boss." he added.
"Thank you for helping my daughter, Tyler. We should drink together with Matthew soon." Dad invited.
"Many things happened that I couldn't tell you new stories. After a few days, when things are going smoothly, I will tell you things you don't know." I told Tyler.
Tyler nodded. "Copy. You guys should head inside now." he added.
Sharing my life stories with Tyler is so comfortable that I can even share our past with him. He has this character who can listen very well. He also knows how to joke when he feels like the air is starting to get heavy.
I brought my dad to our office and introduced him to Claire, Sonia, Alessa, and Alex. Like Tyler's reaction, they are all shocked by my announcement.
"God must want you to experience happiness now." Claire said.
"It is the fruit of working hard, Traizle. We are happy for you." Sonia added.
"Thank you for helping my daughter. I will be happy to invite you over for dinner next time." Dad said.
"That will be fun, Sir. Looking forward to it." Alessa commented.
"It is our pleasure to drink with you, Sir." Alex added.
"Dad, we should head to Zarsuelo's office." I told him.
"Oh, sure. We will go now. See you next time." Dad said. The moment we went out of our office. He held my hands. "I am happy you found friends who treasure you." he added.
"Yes, Dad. I am lucky to have them." I answered.
"It's a blessing in disguise that I went here. I have been hearing you call me your dad. Thank you." Dad said.
"I am not that shy anymore." I answered, laughing at my answer.
When we reached Zarsuelo's office, we could hear him raising his voice.
"How dare they call my wife undeserving? I am so mad today! I will sue them all for slandering my wife!"
"He is busy reading the comments?" Dad asked.
I nodded. "He is more affected, Dad. I don't know how to stop him from reading them." I answered.
"Aha! Yeah! Right! My wife is kind and can cook and take care of her brothers and me. She has everything you could want! I will reward this man for helping me with those ugly people." Zarsuelo said, still into the comments.
I knocked. "Zarsuelo, are you busy?" I asked.
"I am not, wife. Come in." He answered.
I let Dad open the door.
"Oh, Dad? You are here too. It's nice to see you." he greeted.
"I was worried about the news, but I am relieved to see you guys okay." Dad answered.
"Traizle is strong. Those can't affect her." Zarsuelo said.
"Yet you are so affected by their comments about me." I replied.
"Of course! I should help you to explain yourself. I won't let them insult you in any way." he answered.
"We should sue them all, name them." Dad suddenly said.
"Here, Dad. I already took a photo with their names." Zarsuelo answered.
Why is this happening?
