Chapter 62: Chapter 62
Traizle
"Why is he calling me?" I was confused.
I already told Zac that I would also go to Layzen's school since I asked Zarsuelo if I could go out for a while, and I am near the school too.
"Yes?" I asked Zac as soon as I answered the call.
"Can you run faster? A woman here is trying to get Layzen from me." he answered.
I immediately ended the call and ran as fast as I could. I told her not to disturb Layzen while he was at school. After a few minutes of running, I reached Layzen's school. I can already see Layzen, who is hiding behind Zac, and our mother, who is also trying to approach him.
"Layzen! Zac!" I called them.
Layzen ran to me and hugged me tightly. "She is asking me to come with her, Traizle." he complained.
"Layzen, you don't have to be scared. I am your mother. Don't you remember me?" Mother asked, but Layzen shook his head. "You don't remember me because Mom left to work when you were young, but I am back now. I can take care of you together with your brother." She added.
Layzen still shakes his head. "I don't like you, even if you are my mother," Layzen said. That made our mother drop her smile. "You threw your responsibilities to Traizle. Even though it was hard, she did everything for us to survive. Lyndon does not like you either because you were hurting us before." Layzen added.
Is this how mature Layzen is? He does not look like kindergarten to me anymore. It is like he is an adult already.
"I am sorry, Ma'am. But I will ask security if you insist on getting Layzen." Zac said.
"We should talk about this, Traizle." my mother said as she turned her gaze to me.
"What are we going to talk about? I know. You already know what my answer is already. I won't go back to you. You have your own family, and I have my own. Don't dare to force us since you are the one who left us first. We are fine without you," I answered. "You can't get any information about him, and please omit Zarsuelo in our affair. This is our problem in the first place. Let's go." I added and started to walk away with Layzen, leaving our mother behind.
When we were far from her, I stopped walking and sighed.
"I'm sorry, Layzen." I apologized and hugged him.
"Don't worry about me. I understand adult problems now." Layzen answered and even patted my shoulder.
I turn to Zac. "Thank you, Zac. If you were not there, I don't know what would have happened to him." I said it with gratitude.
"No, I should be the one to say sorry. I couldn't do anything a while ago because I was shocked by what was happening." Zac said while holding his nape.
"You helped me out a while ago. If you do not stop her, I will spend the night with her." Layzen commented.
I am just thankful that nothing happened to Layzen.
The next day, Lyndon called me about our mother, asking him to come with her. As for how much I hate our mother, I think Lyndon hates her too much. They almost fought outside of his school. I am thankful enough that Lyndon was the one who walked away first.
"So what should we do?" Zarsuelo asked me.
I went to his office to tell him I was about to go out for a while, but I did not continue since Lyndon said it was done already and he was on his way to our house.
"I think I will try to ask a lawyer about this problem so we can know our rights and what we can do about them. I also don't want this to go on any longer." I said, sharing my ideas.
"Let's ask Uncle Vin or ask Carlo and Christian." Zarsuelo suggested.
They can help me, but I don't have enough money to pay them.
"Don't ever think about the payment. I am sure they won't ask us since it is us. Our problem is their problem, too, because we are a family now." He added.
I looked at him, confused. "How did you know I was thinking about it?" I asked him.
He smiled. "Of course, I know you already. It would be best if you did not worry about it in the first place, though. You have me. If you can't pay for them, I can pay for you. I am your boyfriend, it is normal to do that, and it is not because you are getting it wrong by saying you are taking advantage of me. To pay the debt, I want you to love me unconditionally. That is all I want." he replied confidently.
I can do that, though. That is not a debt, and I am responsible for loving him unconditionally too.
"Contact them for me if we can ask for help." I told him.
"Sure thing, wife." He answered.
After our work, Zarsuelo decided to accompany me to the Snack Bar.
"Ah, Wife, wait a minute. I think I forgot my wallet at my office," he said. "I will run faster and be back in a minute." he added.
I nodded, and he ran to go back to his office.
He also said we could go to his Uncle Vin's house on Sunday to discuss our problems. I am glad that Uncle Vin wants to help me.
"Traizle, come with me!" I heard my mother say
"Why are you here? When did you come here?" I asked.
She grabbed my hand and started to pull me.
"What are you doing? I won't go with you!" I yelled at her.
"If they don't come to me, I have no choice but to get you! You are ruining my plan! You are too dumb to be a chess piece." she growled.
I pulled my hands firmly.
"Then stop seeing us and hide where you are already! You have been hiding for years, so why are you bothering us again!" I replied.
"I endured too much just to have the three of you. Pay me for the amount I spent! Work for me! You should stop working here if you can't even ask that man to help you!" She said.
She does not have a plan to fix our family problem. She just wanted us to fulfill her goals.
"Will you stop bothering me? You are more irritating than ever!" I yelled again.
I closed my eyes when she was about to slap me.
"What are you doing?! Let me go!" I heard my mom say.
I slowly opened my eyes to see what had happened.
"Don't you dare hurt Traizle again, Isabel."
Why is Mr. Andrade here as well?
"How did you know my mother, Mr. Andrade?" I asked.
"What's happening?" I heard Zarsuelo ask. "Mr. Andrade? Mrs. Isabel? What's happening here?" He asked again.
"I am getting Traizle with me!" Mom yelled.
"There is no way I will let you get my daughter, Isabel." Mr. Andrade said.
What?
Daughter?
