Chapter 38: Chapter 38

He walked out of the house, as I followed suit wearing a gloomy look on. Somehow I feel the child's voice was that of Andre's, it might be? I said to myself but the pending question I had became answered when I saw Andres tied against his will, besides was Mike shook his head in disproval.

"Andre's" I attempted to run out to him but instead Elena points a gun at my head.

"Dear Nanny, take a little step and I swear I'll kill you?".

She nudged me away, finally falling her eyes to the one she wants.

"Hey, baby? How are you?" She minds no one but whiskered closer.

"What the heck is this Elena, why are you doing this, you ask as if, Andre's isn't your son". Liam says scared of his son's life.

The fear he felt made her happy, she responded with a dance, "I do know he's my son but what can I do? I love money and not my son not you, I do know that I gave birth to him but whatever, our son is so unfortunate to have a devilish mom like me".

Angered by her words, he slapped her on her face, as we all looked on surprised, I knew Elena wasn't going to back down without a fight, she veered back and dragged her son up from the ground.

I watched as he cried out of pain, continually struggling to break free from his mother's grip.

"Elena stop it?"

I finally decided to take the bull by its horn, as they all looked at me.

"Hmm, the nanny, who not only falls in love with her son but is also sleeping with me, how, low can you sink Liam" Elena falls her eye to him, as he veered his the other way.

I walked in between them and recouped her eyes back, she says " you should be thankful Elena, everything I tried to get rid of you backfired, you are so lucky.". She timed out before continuing talking. "How can fall for a man like Liam khan, the almighty business tycoon, oh! It's too bad because I'll have to kill you as well as everyone else here".

We all looked tensed and saw that she held Andres close to the cliff, thus any foolish mistake of hers and end in tragedy,  can this day ever get any worst?.

"Please Elena, I am begging you, please don't do this?". Mike says tied up behind his back.

His words made no sense to her, she decides to go as the lead, by running a bullet to his head.

"Noooooo".

We quivered seeing Mike on the floor, spitting out blood from his mouth, she tried to veer closer but hits her leg on a boulder, accidentally hurls andres over the cliff.

"Andre's".

Before Liam could react, it was too late, he had fallen into the river as the water watched his body away.

Out of resentment, he turned to Elena in an aggravated mood, apparently, Elena who still had no atom of feeling left In her, she didn't even act like something just happened.

"You..are..so..wicked... heartless..you..killed.. my son".

Liam rushed out to her like a wounded lion but rambled back when she points a gun at him.

"Where are you going somewhere?" She says deviously smiling at him.

"I...hate..you..Elena...I hope to never have my path, cross to mine because I curse the day I met you".  Liam spits on the floor, disgusted by her behavior.

Liam's hurtful words to her nudged her to the wall,  she retaliates by pulling the trigger.

The bullet ran his way through Liam but instead hits me when I decided to come in-between.

"Urgh" Liam watched me fall, widening up his eyes in disbelief, Elena saw this as an opportunity to take him down as well. She shoots Liam on his porch as he fell next to me.

"Good riddance to bad rubbish!".

She uttered,  happily dancing around our dead bodies, I spit out blood veering aside and saw Liam's  body next to mine

I struggled to get a hold of his hand, tightly held unto it. Is this the end of God? I asked myself, don't I deserve my own happily ever after? Will, I also get to lose the one I love, after losing my parents in a fatal accident, and now this happened?

I veered and saw Elena as she drove off, it allowed me to get up from the ground wounded, unfortunately, my luck seems to have run out; when Elena's car returned and she saw me.

"My oh my, the nanny as nine lives! You never seem to amaze me, Sara".

I watched her amble close to me, in a shapeshifter form, "Elena, why did you do this?", I asked her.

"Why did I do what? I told Liam, I'll tell you also, I love money, I desire riches and fame, do you wanna know why I returned?". She asked me once again but continued talking after reading the gloomy look on my face.
