Although Alyssa couldn't hear what we both talked about, she wasn't pleased by it, "Andres, do something?". Her eyes looms like a scared little puppy, while he gets a hold of his phone and calls the fire department.
Meanwhile, the part of the ceiling drops to the ground, Luckily Drake pulled me aside and falls my whole weight on him.
"Are you okay?'. He inquired and kept look on the going on.
It's been an hour passed, yet the fire department hasn't come and the more we stand here the sooner we both get crushed.
Drake took my hands and dived my eyes to the front door, "are you ready?". He says and to me, I asked, " ready for".
"You'll see?"
He runs his hands on my waist and asked me to close my eyes, apparently I had no idea what he was going to do, but the next minute, I saw myself being pushed away from the fire and out to safety, and trying to get myself, the fire spreads with Drake stuck in the middle.
From outside, we could hear him coughing, and the more he inhales it the weaker he becomes, Alyssa rushed over and vents out her frustration.
She says, "if anything happens to Drake, just be rest assured that, you will be going to jail".
To me, I figured she ment, if anything happened to Liam and as much as I dont want to banter words with her, it's best to pay a draft ears to her venom words, the same time, the fire department, came and with their machines, puts off the fire, just to infern Drake laying unconscious to the ground.
"Liam"
Without thinking twice, I ran over to his aid, Alyssa aimed to drag me aside but falls back when Jason stopped her.
"Get out of my path?" She drops a command, yet he stood and refused to obey her words.
The ambulance came and took Drake away, Andres gets into the car and drives behind them to the hospital.
We all rushed in and saw Drake dragged into the emergency room, for a distance I prayed everything goes well because with the amount of smoke he inhaled, it's difficult to know the outcome.
Afterwards, Alyssa came to the hospital, she moved about, that's when the doctor gets out of the emergency room, and sewed out attention to him.
"Doctor is everything okay?"
Andre's airs out before we could, the doctor moved a step forward and said, "not sure sir!!! Because the amount of smoke he inhaled, as affected his lungs, all we just need now is to pray and ask for God's intervention".
(Shocked expression)
I almost dropped to the floor listening to the doctors report, how and what going to happen? Why is life playing tricks on us, can our lives not be off more drama?". ( Contemplating)
Meanwhile, Alyssa folds her hands and stromed outside, somehow something urged me to go after her, and so I did, just to hear her talking to herself.
