An hour after the doctor left)

Andres left Alyssa and me alone in the room, the second his attention was needed elsewhere,  I sat there basically counting the time and when I felt like the atmosphere is being clogged up, I decided to leave the room.

"Hold on Sara".

Alyssa says halting me at the spot, I turned back and said, "yes!! Do you perhaps need anything?" I asked.

"No!! I don't but can you kindly tell me what happened to my husband? Why did he faint all of a sudden?". ( She adds up her words with a question).

My eyes loomed around trying to affirm my words, apparently telling her the truth was going to be a bad idea, hence the only way was, lying my way through.

So I said, "actually Alyssa, I don't know what happened? I found him lying unconscious on the ground in the garden".

"You found him lying unconscious at the garden?" She copies back my words.

"Yes!! Please excuse me".  (Unfroze and left her alone in the room).

Andre's waited at the side and saw me ambling downstairs, "mom" he whispered, as I turned weaving my attention to him. "Yes!! What's going on?". (Adds up my words with a question).

He jiggles his head and smokes a sly smile, "do you want to know what's going on?". He says.

"Yes!! What going on because I don't understand anything?". I assumed he was trying to bring out his childlike attitude but it seemed he saw everything that happened a while ago in the garden.

He says to me, "I did see what happened at the garden between Drake and you!!! Perhaps I feel his real dad because, he says he's quite familiar with everything around him, including you".

I dropped a weak smile answering back, "indeed but we need to know, if truly Drake is the one we both seek, and hopefully our wish comes true.".

(Inaudible conversation)

(The whole day drifts to the following morning)

Before anyone saw me, I left for the hospital to meet the get the medical reports of Drake, somehow the thought of him not being Liam, kept me up throughout the night.

(Saint Louis hospital)

My feet walked into the doctor's cabin after getting directions to it.

"Good morning doctor!!" I looked down and saw his name tag on his lab coat, "Steve" I said as he turns to the side and took notice of what happened.

"Good morning, miss Sara Scott!! I believe you're here for Mr. Drake's report". He says to me.

"Yes sir!! I am, can I please have it?" I answered back as he offered me a seat.

"Have a seat and I'll go get the reports". (He walks out of his cabin to get a hold of the medical reports).

(A few minutes later, strolls back in)

"Here you are miss". Steve hands over the reports, and seats down opposite direction from me.

I read through but the grammar used, got me confused to a point, that I lifted my head and asked for further explanation.

The doctor says, " ma'am, as you can see, Drake, suffers from Alzheimer's disease, it is an ongoing pattern of forgetting things, be it where the grocery store is or even the name of family and friends as well".

Heeding to his words, I recollected Drake's off behavior, while we were at the garden, it felt he was trying to recollect his past life, but something kept blocking it, and if my calculations are right, that actually might be Liam, or maybe it is most likely to be the one.

"Thank you, doctor". I added and rode back home, even before getting more information from him, there was something off and I need to find out.
