Chapter 55: Chapter 55

We ran a startled look on our faces, heeding to Elena's voice, the angered tone used got me mystified as we veered inferring the look she had on, (furious), she raised the gun from the ground, and falls it on Sophia, moved it past her and drops it on Riya and after that, I was the net in line, lastly, the gun was positioned in front of Sara.

"Elena!!! I beg you don't do anything stupid, that we might regret".

My words seem not to have any effect on her, the Minions in Elena's head were so dominating, to a point, she shots at Sara, luckily I acted on time and nudged her away from the flying bottle, as it ran past us.

Elena vents out and tried to attempt the same action again, but this time, Riya dived in and struggled to take the gun away from her.

"Riya!!! Let go". Elena says but as we know, Riya was a stubborn as a mule, she refused to budge to a point that another shot gained our notoriety, my eyes fell to Riya, pondering the worst, thus someone else veers out attention, as she drops to the floor the second time, (Elena).

Out of relief, I ran over and hugged her, donning a relief look on my countenance, "let's go home" Riya whippers to my ears, thus while we both moved to leave, yet again, Elena pulled Riya and held her a gun to her head.

Elena says, "do you think, you can easily get rid of me!!! Never, I will not rest until, I see, Sara Scott dead" (waits a while before proceeding with her words) " and if I can't kill her now, I believe, I can take the woman you love, and watch you suffer, the same, as you did five years ago".

She turns to Riya's, "says goodbye to your love", and before we could retaliate, Elena jumps off the cliff with her.

(We all shared a startled look on our faces)

I rushed over and saw it was a deep fall,  Riya wouldn't have survived such" I muttered to myself, trying to bottle down the ragging fire I felt within.

Again the same action took place, as it did five years ago,  the same place, I lost my father, and now, I lost the woman, I tried so hard not to fall in love with, the woman I tried to hid away from Elena's scheme, the same woman who thought me the meaning of love.

( Contemplating to myself)

Not quite long, the authorities surrounded me everywhere, they pulled me afar from the last place I saw Riya and place me in for questioning, my mind couldn't take anything, all I did was nod my head and affirm every one of their words.

"Did I just lost the woman I thought I didn't love?".
