Chapter 79: Chapter 79
Welcome back, guys! The long-awaited chapter is finally here; please enjoy.
WRITER'S POV
"Don't even dare tell me you're having cold feet. We've been planning this wedding for five months now. Everything has to be a perfect young lady." Grace scolded Avatia who was lazily brushing her teeth. "Moreover, no one forced you yesterday to sign those papers at the court."
Draya spoke up before Avatia could. "That was the best civil wedding I've ever attended. You looked so pretty, except I can tell you've gained a lot of weight. I told you to stop eating all those candies."
Avatia groaned and rinsed her mouth. "I'm not having cold feet mom, I've been waiting for this day. And as for you Draya, don't you dare condemn me. You've been eating the candies with me, but unfortunately, it's me the bride who is
getting fat. How pathetic."
"Thank goodness you're not having cold feet cause we've put in everything for this wedding." Avatia's mother spoke up in relief.
Draya as always had something to say. "I know, right? Traveling to the UK for your wedding gown, traveling to France and Italy for wine shopping, traveling to California for your cake traveling around the world for everything. Gawd, we've spent so much, close to 5.5 million. Hiring the best wedding planners and catering services. This sure would be the grandest wedding of all time. I envy you, baby."
Acacia smiled at her best friend. "Do not envy, sweetheart, Conrad is such a darling and I believe he'll make everything special for you too."
"Yeah right," Draya said sarcastically. "Anyways, hurry up with your shower, the beautician and her team are 10 minutes away. Don't wanna keep them waiting."
"Ay ay captains, now would you leave so that I shower?" Avitia said to her mother and friend.

Three hours later, Avatia was all set. Her makeup artist did an excellent job and she looked like a goddess. The hairstylist also did her hair to perfection and her nails matched the theme of the wedding, blue and white. The last thing was her wedding gown.
"Are all the bridesmaids ready?" Grace asked Draya who walked into the room in her eloquent royal blue gown. "You look like a princess my dear."
Draya smiled. "All the girls are ready and eager to see Ava." By all the girls, Draya was referring to the four others friends she and Avatia had from high school. Draya then proceeded to spin. "Of course I look like a princess, with the way I've been waiting for this day, I deserve the look."
Everyone laughed at the bubbly girl who went and hugged her best friend. "I've never been happier for you, Kimmy. You're finally marrying the man who brings out the best in you."
Avatia pulled back a little. "You're gonna make me cry. But it's worth it. I love you so much Draya. Thanks for always being there for me."
Grace smiled at the two. "That's enough, love birds, now is time, for Avatia to be adorned in her dream gown."
Draya shifted and helped the designer to wear Avatia's wedding dress. My oh my, the beauty was just beyond explanation. Avatia looked her best in the expensive, immaculate white gown.
And the crown she wore made her look like a real queen.
"Wait until Dreidan sees how blessed he is," Grace told her daughter as she wiped away her tears. "You're a blessing Avatia."

At the other end of the chic hotel, Dreidan, Alessandro, Roberto, and three other guys were getting ready for the big day.
"How do I look?" Dresden nervously asked the other guys.
"Like a lucky guy who now has free food and free FOOD. In other words, free food and free pussy." Alessandro answered with a cocky smile.
The rest of the crew burst out laughing at what Alessandro said. Dresden just rolled his eyes. "I'm tired of you. But seriously, how do I look?"
"Fucking handsome. Your girl is lucky, you guys are gonna have cute kids." Roberto told him, adjusting his tie.
Dresden looked at his reflection in the mirror and smiled at the thought of a mini version of Avatia or himself running in the garden.
"Damn, brother man, see how excited you are. I'm happy for you." One of the guys chimed in and the others started praising a very proud Dresden.
"Thanks, guys. We're gonna be late if we don't go now anyway."
***
It was an outdoor wedding on a private beach. It was beautifully designed in blue and white. That was where the mass would take place.
The reception was going to be somewhere else.
Only the most important people were invited and they dressed in the most expensive dresses. Ohh, it was not the most populated wedding but it consisted of the richest people.
When Avatia's grand entry was announced, Dreidan adjusted his well-tailored suit.
The live band started the song and everyone stood up to welcome the bride. Dresden was speechless when he saw his soon-to-be wife. She was indeed the angel he'd fallen in love with. The epitome of beauty.
Avatia slowly walked down the aisle holding her grandfather's hand. Everyone admired her. Even Alessandro admitted that Avatia was the prettiest girl in the ceremony.
When Avatia reached the makeshift altar, she looked into Dreidan's eyes.
"I've never met someone as pretty as you, soon-to-be-wifey," Dreidan said with a sweet smile.
"And I've never met someone who smells better than you, soon-to-be-hubby." She teased and the priest cleared his throat to get their attention.
They carried on with the marriage ceremony, when it was time to say the vows, the couple decided to say their vows.
Avatia started first, looking into the eyes of the man she loved, she began. "From the very beginning, I called you 'Mr. Black' because I thought you had a heart as black as coal. I'm sorry for judging you that way because, in reality, you have the kindest heart. No matter what anyone says, you're the perfect guy for me, sweetheart. You bring out the best in me, and for that, I love you so much and there's nothing you can do about it. I promise to love you for the rest of your life.
I'll always be there for you, as your soulmate, your joy mate, your joint mate, your lovemate, and every other mate. And I also promise I'll always make your cup of black coffee with just a cube of sugar every morning so you don't fire me from being your wifey." People chuckled at what she said but only the closest people in her life understood what she was saying. "I love you super much, My Dresden. And I'll always love you." By the time she finished, tears were rolling down her cheeks and Dreidan handed his handkerchief to her.
When it was Dreidan's turn, he smiled nervously at his bride and the crowd. "Who would have thought that I'll be standing right here about to make the biggest
commitment in my life?..."
Before he could continue, many people in the crowd responded. "Not me. Never in a lifetime. I still don't believe you're getting married right now."
Even the priest laughed at that. Then Dreidan continued, looking into Avatia's eyes. "You see, princess, no one could believe I'll get married, but here I am, standing right before you. Giving you my all and all, telling you that I would love you now and in my next life. I'll take you to the moon, and back, that's a promise.
You're perfect for me, Kim. You're my angel. And after thinking for a long time, I realized that I can't keep calling you 'princess'. Cause you're a QUEEN. My Queen."
Everyone cooed at Dreidan's words and Avatia just had to hug and kiss him even before the priest officially pronounced them 'husband and wife.
It was such a beautiful wedding and even Alessandro joked about getting married too, especially when he saw Draya wiping her tears.

After the mass, refreshments were served to the guest before the grand reception. Just as the theme of the wedding, everything was blue and white and it was very beautiful.
Everyone was in awe when the newlyweds came out looking so beautiful in their new dresses. Everything was planned and done to perfection.
The ceremony was so nice. Only the best champagnes and wines were served and the food was heavenly. No one was given any reason to complain. There was a slideshow of Dreidan and Avatia's life together. The couples had their first dance which was so romantic.
Draya's speech was so beautiful and for the nth time that day, Avatia shed tears of joy. Grace also made a speech as well as Alessandro who was all disguised. (Alessandro is disguised because everyone knows he is a dangerous man and because deep down, he is afraid of Draya recognizing him.)
There was a live band that played good music. When it was time for the guest to give their gifts, everyone gave expensive or classic things like; car keys, fully sponsored trips to romantic places in the world, free tickets to classic places, and so on. Ohh, it was going to make anyone feel inferior.
When everyone returned to their seats, Dreidan took the microphone. "I also have a gift for my lovely wife."
Avatia did not expect that so she turned to him. "You do?"
Dresden nodded with a cute smile. "Of course I do. Not only a gift. But three different gifts." He said and the crowd cheered in anticipation. Avatia was speechless.
For the first gift, Dreidan presented a pen art of Avatia. It was a pen art of the day they had their first official date. The day she wore the peach-colored gown. "I drew this with a pen, my Queen. This means each time I made a mistake, I started all over. I had to draw you to perfection. This is a symbol that I'll always consider you as a perfect person and anytime I make a mistake, I'll go back and start loving you all over."
When I say the whole crowd cooed, believe me. It was so romantic. Avatia once again shed tears.
"As for my second gift, it's this." He pulled out a car key to the latest model of a Rolls Royce. "It's your favorite car, so I thought to get you one." This time, Avitia squealed and jumped on him, unable to believe everything that was happening.
Dresden smiled and looked at her. "I think I saved the best for the last." He told everyone nervously and they all chuckled. Dresden then pulled out an expensive ticket. "So I love my wifey so much and I do not make fake promises, especially to her. When I said I'll take her to the moon, I meant every single word of it." He turned to look at her. "So this is a double first-class ticket of a spaceship for a trip to the moon."
Avatia's mouth hung low, just like everyone else in the hall. No one saw that coming. Everyone was speechless. Avatia's eyes watered instantly and she looked up at him. "You did not have to. A seat per person is approximately $150,000,000. It's not necessary. It's a waste of money."
Dresden whispered back. "I've made much money than I can spend in a lifetime. There's no other better way than enjoying my wealth with the woman I adore. It's not called wasting, it's called enjoying. I love you so much, wifey."
Avatia hugged him so tight. "Thank you for everything hubby. I love you even more." Then she pulled back and looked at the crowd. "So my husband thinks he's the only one who could surprise me. Well, guess what, I've got a surprise for him too."
Everyone was excited and eager to know what was in store for Dresden. Dresden was eager too. Avatia walked back to her seat to get the gift and returned to where she was standing. Then she revealed what she was hiding behind her back. It was a cute pair of pink baby socks. No one understood why she would be giving Dreidan baby socks.
Dresden raised his eyebrows and gave her a questioning smile. "My feet definitely can't fit in that. And pink is so girly. So why would you be giving....wait...just wait..." His eyes widened as the wheels in his head started spinning. "We're having a baby?"
Acacia nodded and the whole hall started shouting and congratulating her.
Dresden still couldn't believe her. "We're having our baby?"
She nodded again proudly. "Of course. You thought you were the only one having a surprise for me?"
Dresden picked her up bridal style and kissed her passionately in front of everyone. "This is the best gift ever. I didn't save the best for the last, you did. I love you desperately, my Queen."
