Chapter 27: Chapter 27

Dresden's POV

After leaving my house, I just couldn't stop thinking about my beautiful blonde with blue eyes.

My? What happened to NEVAEH?

Yeah right. I had to forget about Avatia because thinking about her was like forgetting Nevaeh. Throughout my flight back to Manhattan, I focused on all the information Roberto had sent to me. He'd used the fingerprints in the knife and discovered that it was a group of guys. He'd tracked down their location and was waiting for me to return before we storm the place. I swear to God that whoever was behind this was going to pay and pay dearly. I took out my bag of coke. I'd just imported this one and I knew it was gonna give me some good ass money since it was stronger than the rest. I poured some on the stool in front of me and licked my lips. This was my newfound source of relief. I bent down and rubbed the tip of my nose with it. I needed this right now so that when I reach New York, I was gonna come up with a better idea of killing those stupid kidnappers. I inhaled more and more and more until I could take no more. I couldn't wait to put this one up in the market. It was so strong and could make you feel like you're in space.

It's not good for your health.

Avatia's words kept echoing in my head and it reminded me that if Nevaeh was still here, she'd have said the same things. I had to get rid of Avitia cause she kept reminding me of the one true person who loved me unconditionally. She kept reminding me of how I lost my family. Once I find her mother, I'd have to let them go for good.

A couple of hours later, we landed. Roberto was already waiting for me as we'd agreed.

"Hey, buddy. How was your flight?" He asked with a knowing smirk. "Looks like you got some in the jet."

I chuckled. "Yeah. I needed it. Can't wait to slit some throats this night."

He looked surprised because I chuckled. I never showed out emotions to people. Only Jade and Ana could receive smiles and laughter. But recently, the blue eyes Angel was receiving more. "You know, you've been laughing a lot since you met Avatia. I think she's good for you." He mused.

I rolled my eyes. "No one's good for me. When I get her mother tonight, I'm sending them back to Ohio."

He chuckled. "You can't be a serious dude. Anyways get into the car let's go kill some bitches. Our men have surrounded the place already."

We got in and he drove straight to the outskirts of the town. We drove till we reached the bushes. Roberto parked the car and handed me a loaded gun even though I already had one. I smiled at the gun. It was the AK 47. Perfect choice. "I've

always loved this one."

He chuckled. "Now let's go send some bitches straight to hell. And you know the best part?"

I shook my head, clearly amused. "I told Dante to bring the dogs."

I gave him an evil smile. "Looks like I won't be using this gun though. Can't wait to serve them dinner tonight." I told him and got out of the car.

We walked a little inside the bush till I saw a dimly lit house. I looked around and saw two of my men. Roberto gave them a signal to let them know we were going in. I walked over to the door and knocked. I heard muffled voices.

"Who the fuck is " Whoever was inside could not finish his statement since Roberto kicked the door open, breaking the man's nose intentionally. That was what we always did. The rest of the men inside immediately got their guns ready but there were not fast enough since I started shooting. Being trained at the age of nine to shoot helped me because I knew exactly where to shoot to inflict pain or to kill. Besides, I didn't want to kill them now, my dogs needed fresh meat. Roberto kept shooting too and in no time, six injured men were lying on the floor. What I hate was a pussy with a gun in his hand. And all these men were pussies with guns. Couldn't even throw come at us. I noticed that two were already dead. Too bad for them, they won't know what it feels like to be eaten by a dog. My boys got in and tied the rest of the four. I stooped near the one with the broken nose. "Where's the woman, bitch?" I asked calmly. He tried spitting on my face but it didn't work since it landed back on his. I smiled.

"Fuck off, sicko." He retorted angrily and before I could stop Roberto, he punched the man's nose again and he groaned in pain. "Kill me but I won't tell."

I smiled again. "Oh, I won't kill you. Sniper and Venom will." I said and Roberto laughed.

The man was still lying on the floor. "Who are they? Other sickos like you."

I shook my head in amusement. "Nope. They're my well-trained dogs. They've been thirsty for fresh blood and meat ever since. Tonight's their lucky night, bro." I cooed and Roberto went over to another one who'd already been tied.

The man glared at me. "You wouldn't dare."

I smiled. "Yes. I won't. Just tell me who sent you and I'll let you go." "You can kiss my ass."

I took out my penknife and smiled mischievously when the man gulped. Before he could say anything, I stabbed his right arm and left the knife there. I didn't want to take it out or he might die immediately. He screamed so loud. "Should I still kiss your ass?"

He was clearly in pain, yet stubborn.

"Where's Grace?" I asked impatiently as I took out another knife. Ask me what I was doing, walking about with three penknives. "And who the fuck sent you?"

I could see the wheels in his head-turning. He was contemplating whether or not to

tell me. I brought the knife closer to his other shoulder. "This would look good...." I trailed off and stabbed his arm. "Here."

The man shouted. "She.... she's in the air...room at the end of the corridor. The key's in my pocket. Pl....please let me go."

I took the key. "Now who sent you?" I asked looking at my last knife. All this while, my men were watching the scene in amusement and I could hear my dogs barking outside. The other three losers were watching the scene before them in horror. Punk ass losers. "I especially love this knife, know why?" I didn't wait for him to continue. "Because it's been poisoned. It has the venom of a cobra. It's gonna wipe you off the face of the earth in just ten seconds, but three, when I place it in your heart."

I could hear the others gasping. I still had to deal with them. But first, their leader needed to go down. "I'll ask for the last time. Who sent you. And why?"

"Garrett. He sent us." The man said.

I smiled. "Just as I suspected. But ya know what bro, I don't keep promises so you're not leaving this place." I said as I smiled and drove the knife straight into his neck. Just spared him a more horrible death. The other three were gonna tell him in hell what it felt like to be eaten by dogs.

I stood up and faced Roberto. "You know what to do with them."

He laughed. "Finally. Been waiting for this moment all night. Dante, take them out."

I chuckled as I made my way to the room where Grace was. I met her blindfolded and sobbing. My heart ached a little. She was in this mess because of me. I had to let her and her daughter leave before it was too late. I walked over to her and took off the cloth.

She looked at me as she burst out crying. "Thank you. Thank you so much." She threw herself on me for a hug. Her body was shaking uncontrollably. "But how did you know I was here? How did you find this place? "

I knew she was gonna ask questions. "You're the mother of my friend and I protect people who are close to me."

It was a lie but it felt so true.

Finally dropped Dre's POV. Did you like it? While writing this chapter I had so many ideas but I decided I'll put them in different chapters.
