"Arman Levka Romanov, how many times have I told you not to play with those guns!?" I rush toward my five years old son, who is holding a gun which I know is not loaded, but still, it's a gun, and it's dangerous, beside him are Viktor and Matvey, and these two don't seem to care about my anger as I glare at them and they just avoid eye contact with me as the hold back their smile.
These two are really... I already told them not to teach my son about guns, he is a child, how can this even be legal?
I mean nothing is truly ever legal in my world now, this is the kind of consequence I have to pay for marrying Edgar, but still, I regret nothing, except for moment like this.
I don't want my children to live life in danger, it's a normal instinct of a mother.
"But mommy, it's so(oooo) cool!" He says with long O and cute pouty face. But I am not going to fall for that this time, this is the third time I have seen him with a gun on his hands, and I'm not going to let that happen again.
"No, Arman, you know the rule." I tell him and he frowns but then he looks down and with tears eyes, he speaks.
"Sowwy, mommy"
Gosh, it's the same kind of tone again, how can I stay mad at him if he is being this cute and adorable?
"Don't be too harsh on him, Phoebe, look, he is just curious, after all, he is the replica of his father, can't you see that?" Viktor speaks as he squats down to pat Arman's shoulder.
I can certainly see that, he inherited Edgar's gray eyes and blonde hair, his facial feature also resembles him perfectly as well, he doesn't look a bit like me, which is why he is nicknamed 'Mini Edgar' by all of his men, he also inherited Edgar's personality and his hot temper as well which can be quite troublesome, I just hope he doesn't end up killing a lot of people like his father did.
I can't even imagine such situation, I will try my best to prevent that from ever happening.
It's hard, but not totally impossible.
"Don't play with guns again, okay? It's dangerous, baby."
"Yes, mommy." He says and I smile as I stroke his hair gently.
"Mommy, where are chu?" I turn to find my three years old daughter Valentina walking on her teddy bear pajamas, she is rubbing her eyes sleepily, it seems like she just woke up from her deep slumber, as what we call her, since she does sleep a lot.
Now, Valentina inherited my blue eyes and overall facial feature, she is also as pale as I am, but she has Edgar's blonde hair and freckle less face. She has my brain and personality, with Edgar's temper. She is still three and she already knows what to do to get what she wants. Edgar spoils her a lot, because he has always wanted a daughter ever since we got married.
Maybe he thought, by having a daughter, no one has to inherit the clan, but then Arman was born first, so the whole cycle either continue, or stop with him.
But still, I don't know why all of my kids has his temper.
"What is it, sweetie?" I ask her as I approach her to pick her up.
"Mommy, I found this candy on your room, can I have it?" She pulls out something from her pocket, and when I look at it, my eyes widened at the familiar looking plastic packaging, at this moment, both Viktor and Matvey who witness this incident can't help but burst out laughing.
"No, baby, it's a candy for adult, you can't have it." I say as I take the piece of sealed 'protection rubber' from her hand, causing her to whine.
"Why can't I have it?"
"Because you are too young."
"So only mommy and daddy can have it?"
"Uh... yes, that's true" I say awkwardly, how do you explain this to a kid?
No, the best way is to avoid answering and explaining it.
That Edgar, I swear, how can he leave this thing around so openly, has he forgotten that we have two young innocent children at this house now!? I will have to talk to him about this later.
"Daddy!" Valentine suddenly screams happily and I put her down as I turn to see Edgar walk from the front door. Valentine runs toward him and completely doesn't notice some blood stain on his t shirt which clearly shows that he has just done something again, as she hugs him and he lifts her up,
It's probably from one of those men who has debt and refuse to pay them, or maybe one of those people who try to take him down.
But at least I know he didn't kill that poor man, he made a promise when we were married, he would never kill anyone ever again, for our own safety and for my own sanity.
"Hey, little queen, how are you doing?" Edgar speaks as he smiles at her, he smiles a lot around our children which is a good sign.
"Edgar..." I look at him as I give him 'the look'. He quickly understands what I mean and puts Valentine down as he walks up to me and slowly puts his hand on my wait.
"Edgar, no"
"What did I do again?" He asks me, and I show him what Valentina found and he chuckles.
"Hm, does my darling want to have me?" He says as he slowly peck my lips and make his way on my neck, the children are looking but they don't understand yet what is happening.
"No, Valentina found this on our room, why didn't you hide it?"
"Oh, is that so? Well, that's good."
"What?" He suddenly pick me up bridal style and I can see Valentine and Arman looking at us with confusion.
"Look, Big bro,,mommy is a princess, he carries her like a princess in one of those Disney movies." Valentina speaks with amazement on her tone.
"Yes, sweetie, she is my princess." Edgar says proudly as he stare deeply into my eyes. One thing has never changed, after all.
"Well, busy as always, aren't you?" The door opens and I see Nikolai holding my sister's waist as she carries their newborn baby boy, Hugo.
Yes, it was complicated, but ever since everything happened, they started to date each other and realized they were soulmates, a bit cliche sounding, but it's true, so they got married last year, and Nikolai decided to retire from these whole mafia life, and found a job as a coffee shop owner, and though Edgar didn't allow it at first, he was persistent and though he is no longer a mafia member, they still remain best friends and now they have a handsome boy together.
I never expected my sister to marry my husband's best friend. Sometimes life just gives you a crazy fairy tale to live in.
"Aunt El, Uncle Nik!" Arman says happily as he walks toward them, and Nikolai hugs him.
"Hey little man, have you been taking care of your family well?" He asks him, and Arman nods.
"Yes, of course, cause I'm a big boy." Arman says proudly.
"Edgar, why are you carrying my sister around like that?" Elodie's raises one of her eyebrows and He shrugs.
"We are going to make another sibling for them" he says without shame but it gets me as red as tomato.
"So shameless"

"Gosh, I miss touching you." as soon as we arrive in the bedroom, he puts me down on the bed and slam his lips into mine as he kisses me as if his life depends on it.
"Edgar, you need to change your clothes first, it's stained"
"No need." he speaks as he takes off all of his clothing, revealing his bare and sculpted upper half, I can never get bored at this sight, truthfully.
"You are so beautiful, and so irresistible, darling." He starts kissing my body, savoring every inch of it. He looks at me with a mixture of love and lust on his eyes and I look back at him with the same kind of look, and even after all of these years, he remains as handsome as ever, but now his hair is cut a bit shorter, and he changes the scent of his cologne, making it more musky.
He quickly rip off my clothing, like he always does, and with his husky voice, he whispers on my ears.
"Let's make another baby."
